Chapter 514 - Chapter 514: Released Brother!!

Chapter 514: Released Brother!!

Darren wanted to laugh inwardly.

On the surface, however, he became even more vigilant.

He struggled as if trying to get up and help Harry, but Voldemort was already stepping forward.

"Wormtail, bring him over and seat him here.

"Let him watch carefully what I will do tonight. Let the strong witness it—Voldemort has never feared this!"

"Voldemort—you're Voldemort!"

Darren put on an angry expression.

But when he looked at Harry, there was nothing but terror on his face.

He shouted desperately, "Brother! Brother, run! Run quickly!"

[Ding…]

Just look at these rewards!

Darren felt like crying with happiness.

For the sake of the Father value, he would definitely perform well tonight.

Harry heard both Voldemort and Darren.

He desperately tried to stand up.

But the scar on his head burned with pain, and his leg was broken.

He had no strength at all.

"Darren… Darren, you have to find a way to escape by yourself…"

He spoke with great difficulty.

Seeing that Harry truly couldn't get up, Darren turned toward Voldemort in horror.

"You—you let my brother go. I can do anything you want…

"Are you trying to torture us in front of everyone? If you want to kill someone, kill me… I can do it…"

[Ding…]

"Shut up! Darren, hurry up and find a way to escape!"

Harry shouted.

But he still couldn't stand.

At that moment, Wormtail had already come over and dragged him away.

Harry was bound tightly to a tree, his body tied so firmly that he could barely move.

Only then did he seem to regain a bit of strength.

He saw Darren being placed onto a chair.

Darren was limp, his face deathly pale, his eyes red.

Only his eyes and mouth could still move.

"Let my brother go… I beg you, Voldemort… I beg you, spare my brother…

"I can do anything… anything at all…"

[Ding…]

Harry trembled.

He wanted Darren to stop begging Voldemort.

But Wormtail had already stuffed something into his mouth, gagging him.

"Oh? You can do anything?"

Voldemort finally seemed interested in Darren's words.

Harry saw Darren's face turn deathly pale.

"Yes… yes. As long as you release my brother, I'll do anything…"

"Very well. Then kill the wizard beside you, and I will release your brother."

Voldemort's eyes glowed scarlet.

Darren froze.

This was a perfectly normal reaction.

As a 'little holy father,' hearing about killing would naturally terrify him.

Following Voldemort's words, he turned his gaze to the side.

Mr. Diggory was there, his face filled with fear as he begged for mercy.

His body was covered in wounds from torture.

So this was Voldemort's straightforward revenge for his child.

"I… I can't. I won't… Can you change the condition? You can kill me. You can let me kill myself…"

Darren looked anguished.

"Suicide? That's unnecessary…"

Voldemort laughed eerily.

"Since you refuse to kill this wizard, then…"

He looked at Wormtail.

Wormtail hesitated, glancing at Darren.

Then, under Darren's horrified gaze, he raised his wand.

"Avada Kedavra!"

A green flash struck Mr. Diggory.

The man who had been alive moments ago now hung lifelessly from the tree.

"Ahhh—!"

Darren screamed hoarsely.

He almost stood up.

But Wormtail struck him again with a restraining spell.

He became completely unable to move.

"Begin. Don't waste time. And don't let Darren make any more noise—his voice is already hoarse."

Voldemort snorted.

The tone sounded almost like concern, though no one except Darren would ever think so.

Wormtail staggered over to Darren, barely daring to meet his eyes.

He muttered softly, "Tongue-locking, throat-sealing!"

Darren could no longer make a sound.

Pain and fury blazed in his eyes.

Voldemort glanced at him once, then looked away.

He turned to Harry.

"Then begin at once, Wormtail!"

Wormtail nodded and moved toward the cauldron.

Voldemort spoke again.

"Turn Darren to face me. I want him to watch my resurrection clearly."

Darren didn't want to look.

But he had to pretend he couldn't move or speak, allowing Wormtail to turn him.

His eyes, however, were filled with rage and killing intent.

"Good. Let's begin."

Voldemort sounded satisfied.

Wormtail's body trembled.

Standing before Voldemort's chair, he untied the wrappings around him.

Darren nearly lost his composure.

This thing was far too disgusting.

Even Wormtail looked terrified.

Yet he still forced himself to place Voldemort into the cauldron.

Darren couldn't help wondering—such boiling potion, tossed into it like this, couldn't it really cook someone?

It must be hot.

He heard Voldemort's agonized screams.

No pain, no gain?

Seeing Voldemort like this, Darren almost felt a trace of sympathy.

"Quickly!"

Voldemort cried out in pain.

Wormtail raised his wand and shouted in a trembling, almost crazed voice:

"Bone of the father, unknowingly given, you will renew your son!"

"Flesh of the servant, willingly sacrificed, you will revive your master!"

Wormtail slashed off his own arm.

Darren was shocked.

He could never be that ruthless to himself.

How painful that must be.

And after cutting off his arm, Wormtail limped toward Harry.

Muttering like a madman, he said, "Blood of the enemy, forcibly taken, you will resurrect your foe!"

Darren saw Wormtail approach Harry.

He burst out with strength again, nearly standing up—

But only nearly.

Wormtail quickly forced him back down.

Then Wormtail cut Harry's arm, drew some blood, and poured it into the cauldron.

Next, Darren saw the most terrifying sight in the entire story.

A face paler than bone, a snake-like flat nose with thin slits for nostrils.

Well… powerful?

In terms of looks, it was certainly a transformation.

Powerful—truly powerful.

Darren could clearly sense that Voldemort was stronger than Dumbledore.

He didn't know why.

Perhaps Dumbledore was simply old.

The snake-faced man walked over to Darren.

He laughed softly.

"Child, you should be glad you possess such an extraordinary bloodline—

"one that allows you to stand at the pinnacle of the wizarding world, just like me."
