Soren was taken aback by her question.
Stand in front of an Eldritch monster, hungry to feed off his soul.
He could do.
Stand in front of the scary looking instructors at the Academy?
He could also do that.
But Stand in front of Love?
That always managed to knock the common sense out of him.
Mora knew she had him in between her fingers.
"Tell me, Soren. Do you still love me?"
"I... I do." His eyes settled on hers.
"You know," she broke eye contact a bit. "I haven't stop thinking about you."
"Really?" He asked hopefully.
She nodded.
"Can I..." she biy her lower lip again. "...kiss you?"
By now, she felt yhe golden strings around her body loosen their grip.
But she did not startle him.
Soren on the other hand, coukd not resist the pull.
The walls were falling apart around them, an Eldritch soul roaring underneath, and yet, something about this woman tugged at his senses.
It had always been that way. Mora was magnetic.
