Chapter 84 - Chapter 84 Earth Release Carving Head, No Need to Worry About a Thing

The Konoha's Ninjas were utterly dumbfounded. Although they had heard the stories of Setsuna single-handedly crushing Sunagakure, they hadn't witnessed it firsthand and thus lacked a clear understanding of his true power.

Now, they finally understood Sunagakure's fear.

Two incredibly powerful Jinchuriki, monstrous in their own right, couldn't even withstand Setsuna's fists.

"What immense power!" Fugaku's eyes held a look of yearning. He had heard people already calling Setsuna the God of Ninja, which naturally brought to mind the rival of the other God of Ninja, Uchiha Madara.

It was a pity the Uchiha no longer possessed power that could rival the God of Ninja.

Setsuna's assault had only just begun. Unafraid of the intense heat, he grabbed Roshi's shattered lava armor and executed a powerful shoulder throw, slamming the Four-Tails' Jinchuriki heavily into the ground.

Boom!

Roshi's body sank deep into the rock, spiderweb cracks spreading outwards.

"ROAR!"

The formidable vitality of a Jinchuriki was on full display. Even with injuries of this magnitude, Roshi still struggled to his feet, his four tails stabbing forward like spears.

Setsuna didn't dodge or evade. His hands moved like butterflies, precisely grabbing two of the Chakra Tails.

The muscles in his arms bulged violently as he lifted Roshi entirely off the ground and swung him, smashing him directly into Han, who had just gotten up.

The two collided, seeing stars. Lava and steam sprayed everywhere. Roshi's tails wrapped around Han's neck, while Han's claws tore into Roshi's shoulder.

"Idiot, let go!"

"Fool, you let go first!"

Clearly, the consciousnesses currently dominating the two were no longer their own, but the mutually antagonistic Four-Tails and Five-Tails.

But at that moment, both Tailed Beasts chose to fall silent simultaneously, as they sensed imminent danger.

Setsuna had somehow appeared above them, his right leg held high like a battle axe, chopping down.

Another tremendous crash echoed as the ground collapsed into a massive crater a hundred meters in diameter.

Roshi and Han lay at the bottom of the pit, their partial transformations crumbling, Tailed Beast's Chakra leaking out uncontrollably.

"Roar!"

Roshi struggled to open his mouth, a black sphere of energy beginning to coalesce.

Han also forced himself up, his five tails intertwining as they gathered power.

Dark, ink-like destructive energy converged madly. Minato's expression changed drastically. The Four-Tails and Five-Tails' Jinchuriki were too close together, so the two nearly-formed Tailed Beast Bombs were practically overlapping.

In this situation, it would be very difficult for him to transfer just one. But if he tried to transfer both at once, the two Tailed Beast Bombs weren't fully connected.

Just as Minato was grappling with this problem, Setsuna's reassuring voice came through. "Don't worry. Leave it to me. Just make sure to get as far back as possible."

"Two Tailed Beast Bombs at once... now that's more like it!" Setsuna spread his feet slightly, placed his hands at his waist, and assumed a stance no one else recognized.

'For a proper beam struggle, you needed the [Kamehameha] for authentic pedigree.'

After seeing Yamcha use the Kamehameha at the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament, Tien had learned the technique. Of course, Setsuna could do the same.

A black energy sphere over ten meters in diameter shot forth. The air distorted in its path, the ground gouged by the residual waves into deep trenches.

The faces of the allied Ninjas turned pale. If this strike landed, likely more than half the frontline forces would be annihilated.

"Ka-Me-Ha-Me… HAA!"

Setsuna thrust his palms forward violently. A blue light pillar, comparable in diameter to the Tailed Beast Bomb, erupted forth like a divine spear piercing heaven and earth.

Boom-

The moment the blue light pillar collided with the black energy sphere, time seemed to stand still for an instant.

At the explosion's epicenter, a giant mushroom cloud slowly rose, draining the color from the world!

Blinding white light erupted from the collision point, instantly swallowing everything within a radius of several miles.

Rampant energy turbulence formed a spherical force field a kilometer in diameter. The ground undulated like ocean waves. Several multi-ton rock formations nearest the blast were instantly vaporized. Forests in the distance were flattened by the shockwave.

"Get down!" Pakura's voice rang out among the allies.

Everyone pressed themselves flat against the ground, yet still felt a stinging sensation on their skin.

A scorching heat wave swept over them. The Ninjas' forehead protectors grew red-hot. A raging wind made it impossible to keep their eyes open. The sky practically rained mud, burying most of the Ninjas' bodies under soil and debris.

When the dust settled slightly, a giant crater over three kilometers in diameter was revealed at the battlefield's center.

Rasa watched, cold sweat pouring down his back. Thankfully, he had remembered Setsuna's warning from the start and ordered the allied forces not to approach him. Otherwise, the alliance would have suffered heavy casualties from that single collision.

Roshi, having regained primary consciousness, stared dumbfounded at the scene. Even the Four-Tails inside him was stunned.

Tailed Beast Bombs weren't invincible. Excluding two certain freaks, the ways to counter a Tailed Beast Bomb were either to redirect it or to combine enough Ninjutsu from a large number of people to block it.

But this was the first time he had seen a human neutralize a Tailed Beast Bomb using his own, singular power.

"This guy's a monster too! Do you humans mass-produce monsters?" The Four-Tails roared, recalling the humiliating memory of being casually grabbed like a kitten by Hashirama, who shouted something about him being 'too dangerous'.

'Compared to these monsters, in what way were we, the Tailed Beasts dangerous?'

Ignoring the Four-Tails' noisy complaints, Roshi looked at Han again. "Attack their forces separately."

Clearly, he had realized he was utterly outmatched by Setsuna.

Two black spheres of destructive energy shot towards different directions. One headed straight for the main Konoha's force, while the other arced towards the Sunagakure's troops on the flank.

"Again!"

The energy wave Setsuna projected collided with the Tailed Beast Bomb once more. After a brief stalemate, the blue-white energy wave swallowed the Tailed Beast Bomb and continued unabated towards Roshi.

"What?!" Roshi's pupils contracted sharply. Before he could react, his partially transformed body was violently blasted away, flying like a kite with a cut string and smashing through three rocky mountains before grudgingly stopping.

Meanwhile, Han's Tailed Beast Bomb was already approaching the Sunagakure's positions.

A flash of golden light teleported into place. Space suddenly distorted, and the black Tailed Beast Bomb was instantly swallowed by a spatial vortex.

"Flying Thunder God - Guiding Thunder!"

The next second-

An earth-shattering explosion detonated above the Iwagakure's main camp. Kitsuchi's command tent was completely obliterated. Nearly a thousand Iwagakure's Ninjas fell screaming under the destructive shockwave.

"Ahhh! What's happening?"

"That's our Tailed Beast Bomb? How?!"

Under this series of blows, the morale of the Iwagakure's forces completely collapsed.

Kitsuchi, clutching his forehead which had been struck by the blast wave, his eyes bloodshot as he watched the scene, finally let out a hoarse roar: "Retreat! Full army retreat!"

"Trying to run? It's not that easy!"

The allied Ninjas excitedly gave chase, only to see Kitsuchi standing alone, blocking their path.

"Earth Release: Thousand-Mile Earth Wall!"

Tsuchi poured all his Chakra into the technique. A massive earthen wall, resembling the Great Wall of China, instantly separated the Iwagakure's forces from the pursuing allies.

'To use a Jutsu of this scale single-handedly... I truly underestimated him before,' Rasa thought, inwardly shocked. Kitsuchi, as the Tsuchikage's son, had no notable reputation in the Ninja World and was often seen as a symbol of mediocrity. He never expected this 'mediocre' son could possess such strength.

'Unfortunately, thinking this Jutsu can stop us? That's rather laughable-' Rasa's cold smirk suddenly froze on his face. Because on the massive earthen wall, carvings of the successive Hokage and Kazekage had begun to appear one after another.
