Chapter 260 - Chapter 260 Slaughtering The Colonizer Armies

Both sides remained deadlocked. Finally, the British Brigadier drew his sword, pointing it directly at Regulus.

"Brat, you say. Whose treasure is this?"

Regulus didn't answer his question.

The youth's fists clenched until they were white. Golden pupils burned with fury. "Why… why kill them?"

He angrily pointed at the corpses on the ground. "They didn't even have weapons! They were just ordinary people!"

The British Brigadier was stunned for a moment, then burst into loud laughter.

"Ordinary people?" He seemed to have heard some absurd joke, turning to his soldiers. "Did you hear that? He says these natives count as 'people'?"

The soldiers erupted in a chorus of mocking laughter.

"Listen up, kid." The Brigadier used the sword tip to lift a child's corpse, casually tossing it aside. "Only those living in civilized nations count as people."

"As for these natives, they're just monkeys. We kill them like hunting… just for entertainment."

Regulus's pupils abruptly contracted.

"Entertainment?" His voice was soft, yet it caused the surrounding temperature to plummet.

The British Brigadier, still unaware of the abnormality, continued smugly. "That's right. We even made a contest… see who kills the most monkeys…"

Boom!

His head exploded.

Regulus's fist didn't even touch him. Merely the impact of his released Cosmos directly blasted the man's head apart.

"You… don't even deserve to be called human!"

The British Brigadier's headless corpse crashed to the ground. The French officer's face instantly turned ashen.

"Witchcraft! This… this is demonic power!" He stumbled back, frantically waving his arms. "Fire! Open fi—"

Before he finished, three figures abruptly appeared at the battlefield's center.

Seeing the sudden arrivals, the French officer's fear was instantly replaced by greed. "Two more golden armors appeared! All aim…"

Boom!

Rasgado stomped, shattering the ground for a kilometer around. Cracks spread like spiderwebs.

He originally didn't want to damage the earth, but only this could intimidate the enemy.

"Scram!" The Taurus Saint's roar sent shockwaves. "Or my next step will crush your bones!"

However, the French officer's face twisted with excitement instead. "Their golden armor must have magic! Fire! Whoever captures it gets promoted three ranks! Open fire!"

Before the flintlock muskets' smoke could rise, Setsuna's figure swept through the military formation like a ghost.

"Hoyoku Tensho!"

A golden-red fire phoenix spread its wings. Tens of thousands of soldiers turned to dust in the flames.

Surviving colonial troops dropped their weapons and scattered, only to be caught and devoured by the swirling flames.

"This…" Rasgado looked at the scorched earth, smiling bitterly. "Isn't this a bit excessive?"

Setsuna stood amidst the corpses. Dark blue Sekishiki swirled in his palm. "Listen."

The wails of spirits were clearly discernible in the wind… the cries of massacred native infants, the screams of violated women, the sneering laughter while burning people alive…

"They are creatures more evil than dark beings." Setsuna crushed the resentment in his palm. The last fleeing officer in the distance suddenly self-ignited. "Killing them… the living beings of this continent are all cheering for me."

Upon the scorched earth where gunpowder smoke hadn't yet dispersed, several dark purple spatial rifts suddenly cracked open.

Radamanthys led the Specter army stepping out from the Underworld passage. Black Specter Cloths gleamed ominously under the sunset.

"Tsk tsk tsk~" Radamanthys scrutinized the colonial army corpses littering the ground mockingly. "This is the Saints' justice? Slaughtering tens of thousands in one go? Truly eye-opening."

Kagaho spread his burning wings. Flames cast shadows on the charred land. "The Saints who protect humanity slaughter humans more efficiently than us Specters."

Sekishiki slowly swirled at Setsuna's fingertips, drawing the last few wisps of vengeful spirits into his palm. "If you want me to feel guilt and self-blame, leading to corruption, then there's no need. In my eyes, these scum aren't even human. Killing them naturally isn't killing people."

Radamanthys narrowed his eyes slightly. "As expected of a Saint training Sekishiki. Your heart is as cold and hard as us Specters. It seems the 'gift' I chose was somewhat misjudged."

"However…" Radamanthys suddenly spread his arms. The colonial army spirits just eliminated by Setsuna suddenly rose from the corpses, forming eerie runes in the air. "If you think I only wanted to affect your heart, then you're gravely mistaken."

Tens of thousands of vengeful spirits wailed shrilly, transforming into a dark purple barrier covering ten square miles.

The sky instantly turned crimson-dark. The earth oozed foul-smelling blood.

"Using these souls to cast this spell isolates this space from the mortal world. Now…" Radamanthys's laughter echoed through the distorted space. "…you can't expect Sanctuary's reinforcements."

A smile curled at Setsuna's lips. "So, you also can't contact the Underworld? Perfect."

"Your opponent is me!" Kagaho's flaming wings erupted. Bennu Bird's black flames and Phoenix's Klesha Fire intertwined in the air.

The two figures continuously crossed, then simultaneously vanished into the spiritual world.

"Hoyoku Tensho!"

"Solar Corona Gale!"

Two incinerating forces collided. The spiritual world instantly shattered.

Outside the spiritual world, Radamanthys's dragon-shaped Specter Cloth emitted piercing shrieks. Dark purple Cosmos fiercely confronted the two Gold Saints.

"Great Horn!"

"Golden Wind!"

Taurus and Sagittarius's ultimate moves exploded on Radamanthys, forcing him back three steps.

Radamanthys wiped the blood from his mouth. His individual strength undoubtedly surpassed a Gold Saint's, but not to the point of defeating two Gold Saints combined.

Noticing Radamanthys's disadvantage, his subordinate Specters immediately lunged at Regulus

Seeing this, Sisyphus almost instinctively wanted to rescue.

After all, this youth was his elder brother's only bloodline left in the world.

However, the moment his arrow left the bowstring, Radamanthys's [Greatest Caution] instantly roared forth.

"Watch out!" Rasgado roared, using his massive body to forcibly block this attack.

The tremendous impact cracked his Gold Cloth with web-like fissures. Blood seeped from the Cloth's edges.

"Uncle, don't mind me." Regulus's golden hair flared angrily. "I can handle it."

Earth Beast Star Cheshire grinned savagely. "A twelve or thirteen-year-old brat dares say he can stop—"

His words abruptly cut off.

A golden storm erupted around the youth, blasting all enemies approaching him away.

"Cosmos approaching the Seventh Sense!" Radamanthys's pupils contracted sharply.

Everyone was utterly shocked. Regulus had trained to this level alone, without anyone teaching him.

Once he returned to Sanctuary, undoubtedly he would become another Gold Saint before long.

For the first time, regret surfaced in Radamanthys's heart. If he had known Regulus's talent was so monstrous, he should have eliminated him early, not used him as bait to lure Setsuna.
