Chapter 262 - Chapter 262 The Will of Sea God Poseidon

Since Regulus hadn't yet comprehended the Seventh Sense and couldn't withstand the burden of lightspeed travel, the three decided to return to Sanctuary by passenger ship.

They chose a ship passing through the Atlantic. During the voyage, the sea became bizarrely turbulent. The sky was gloomy as ink, as if some ancient power was awakening.

"It seems this sea area isn't peaceful." Rasgado stood at the ship's bow, his gaze grave as he scanned the distant rolling waves.

Setsuna was quite calm. He was now practically a genuine Gold Saint.

With three Gold Saints present, even if an evil god emerged, they could suppress it.

When the ship reached the central Atlantic, deafening cannon fire suddenly echoed from afar.

Looking out, two fleets were engaged in fierce battle.

The British Royal Navy's flags and the Spanish Armada's insignias flickered amidst the smoke.

The next moment, the sea surface abruptly churned. Giant tentacles burst from the water, the towering waves nearly capsizing the passenger ship!

A British commander raised an ancient rune, summoning a legendary deep-sea monster… a colossal kraken as massive as a mountain range! Tentacles wrapped around several enemy ships, crushing them into debris!

"It's the Kraken!" A tourist screamed in terror.

Not to be outdone, a Spanish commander also retrieved an ancient artifact carved with serpentine patterns, chanting harshly, "Awaken, descendant of Hydra!"

Nine savage heads burst from the sea. Serpentine bodies coiled like mountain ranges. A sweep of its massive tail sank a British warship into the abyss.

Sisyphus sighed. "With Sea God Poseidon's divine power no longer suppressing it, this planet's oceans have long descended into chaos. Creatures from the Age of Myths keep appearing one after another."

The Kraken and Hydra's descendant battled madly on the sea. Tentacles and serpent tails intertwined, raising towering waves.

Finally, Hydra bit through the Kraken's core. The British navy was completely annihilated.

The Spanish commander laughed wildly. "Victory belongs to Spa—"

Yet his laughter abruptly cut off.

Hydra suddenly turned, crushing the Spanish fleet.

"The sea monster went berserk…" Rasgado said gravely.

Sisyphus sighed softly, slowly drawing the golden bow. An arrow gleaming with solar radiance condensed on the bowstring.

"Golden Wind!"

The golden arrow shot through the air, piercing Hydra's nine heads, utterly destroying it.

Truthfully, this Hydra's strength wasn't weak. Unfortunately, golden arrows were too effective against dark creatures.

The sea gradually calmed, but dark clouds still didn't disperse.

Just then, an ice-blue figure approached, walking on the waves.

"Thank you for intervening." The newcomer nodded slightly, his voice low and elegant. "I am Unity, lord of Bluegrad."

"Bluegrad? The ice warriors guarding Sea God Poseidon?" Rasgado's eyes lit up.

Ice warriors originated from Saints. They were descendants of the original Saints Athena sent to monitor Poseidon's soul.

"Correct." Unity smiled faintly, asking, "Is Degel well?"

Rasgado nodded. "He's fine. He's now the Aquarius Gold Saint."

"That's good. He achieved his dream." Unity smiled with relief, explaining, "He once trained with me in Bluegrad. We're longtime friends."

This past connection instantly warmed the atmosphere among everyone.

After brief pleasantries, Unity's expression turned serious. "In recent years, more and more sea monsters have broken free. I fear they are being summoned by Poseidon's will…"

Setsuna asked, "You mean Sea God's will can already seep out from the seal?"

Unity nodded heavily. "I'm afraid so."

Sisyphus and Rasgado exchanged glances, seeing gravity in each other's eyes.

Rasgado said gravely, "With the Holy War approaching, if Poseidon revives, it would undoubtedly be a disaster for Sanctuary!"

Unity took a deep breath, speaking earnestly. "Two Gold Saints, I implore you to investigate the seal in Atlantis. With my meager strength alone, I cannot handle this situation."

Sisyphus hesitated slightly. If it were just the three of them, naturally no problem. But Regulus was also here…

Sensing his hesitation, Regulus proactively said, "Uncle, don't worry about me. With the Leo Cloth protecting me, I won't be in danger."

Sisyphus slowly nodded. Given the strength Regulus displayed, they indeed couldn't treat him as a child anymore.

Five figures broke through the dark seawater, descending into the deep sea.

Even the youngest, Regulus, having awakened the Sixth Sense, could still breathe and move freely underwater.

Led by Unity, everyone arrived at a dilapidated underwater temple.

The temple's surface was covered in thick seaweed and coral. The exquisite reliefs on stone pillars were eroded blurry by seawater, yet one could still feel that majestic aura from the Age of Myths.

They entered the temple, proceeding to its deepest part.

At the temple's end stood an ancient altar.

A massive transparent water sphere floated above the altar. Within pale green liquid floated a silver-haired woman.

"Why is there a woman in Sea God's sealed place?" Rasgado was puzzled.

The corner of Unity's mouth curled in a gentle arc. "She is my sister, Seraphina. Also, the most perfect vessel for Poseidon-sama."

Crack!

Blood-red coral suddenly erupted from the ground. Sharp branches, like living creatures, wrapped around Sisyphus's golden bow.

Rasgado just started to move but found his feet firmly anchored by coral. Those branches even grew dense barbs.

"Unity!" Rasgado roared. The Gold Cloth burst with dazzling light. "You betray Athena?!"

"Betray?" A flicker of madness flashed in Unity's eyes. "We ice warriors guarded this bitter, cold land for thousands of years! No sunlight, no warmth. In such a harsh environment… a mere cold took my sister's life!"

"This world has no meaning to protect!" Unity roared furiously. "I will borrow Poseidon-sama's power to revive my sister!"

Rasgado's anger dissipated, turning into a sigh. "I sympathize with your plight. But this is a Saint's fate. Over thousands of years, countless Saints sacrificed to protect this earth. Though we guard Sanctuary, we never shirk responsibility."

"Enough!" Unity sneered. "Now, words are meaningless. I am no longer Bluegrad's ice warrior Unity. I am the first of Sea God's seven generals… Sea Dragon Unity!"

"Only Gold Saints can touch Athena's seal. I lured you here to manipulate you into opening Athena's seal."
