Chapter 52 - Chapter 52 Highly Recommended!

Mai Ge looked at the expectant Ha Beng and Ha Ga, a little hesitant. He wasn't tempted by double the price; increasing the price after limited availability was no different from scalping.

However, Ha Beng and others' crowdfunding yesterday had been a huge help; otherwise, Amy wouldn't have gotten her delicious Rou Jia Mo today. After thinking for a moment, he smiled and nodded, saying, "This new product was made ahead of schedule thanks to you all crowdfunding, so you can have as many as you want today, and it won't be doubled—just the original price of 300 copper coins each."

"Really? Boss Mai, you're so kind! I'll take five, and my brother too!" Ha Beng's eyes lit up immediately. Mai Ge was indeed different from those cunning human merchants.

"Okay, please wait a moment." Mai Ge nodded and turned to walk towards the kitchen.

"Hey Little Boss, check please." Mo Bai finished his meal, a plate of Yang Zhou Fried Rice and a Rou Jia Mo. The fatigue from staying up all night was instantly gone.

Moreover, after eating the Rou Jia Mo, he felt much more refreshed. His blood circulation had improved, and his mind felt clearer.

As he placed the paper bag on the table, he noticed the back of a half-elf girl drawn on the back of the bag. He was a little surprised, but also felt that it was how it should be.

Although he'd only been in formal contact with Mai Ge for a few days, it was clear his affection for Amy was genuine; he was a responsible father.

So even though Amy is a half-elf and doesn't have a mother by her side, she doesn't have much of the timidity that is common among half-races. Now that she's been pampered and completely overlooked this trait. Besides being cute, she's also quite bold.

"But using this back view as the restaurant's sign might cause some trouble, right?" Mo Bai thought to himself. But then he reconsidered. Even Amy's fireball spell made Ha Beng wary; Mai Ge couldn't be ordinary. He seemed like a clever man.

"It's nine gold coins in total." Amy said, walking over and thinking for a moment.

"Okay, then deduct it directly from the previous crowdfunding." Mo Bai said with a smile, standing up.

"Oh." Amy nodded, then walked to the kitchen doorway and looked at Mai Ge, who was making Rou Jia Mo. "Daddy, Dwarf Grandpa Mo Bai said the nine gold coins can be deducted directly from that form from yesterday, is that alright?"

"Of course, that's what we wrote yesterday." Mai Ge smiled and brought out two plates, each containing two Rou Jia Mo. For Ha Beng and Ha Ga, the brown paper bag was actually an obstacle; it was much more direct to put them on the plates.

Of course, more importantly, serving it this way saves the cost of a 5 copper coins bag, and the plates will be automatically washed in the dishwasher anyway.

"I'm leaving, Boss Mai." Mo Bai said with a smile, then turned and went out.

"Boss Mai, your food is so delicious! At this rate, I don't want to go back to the tribe!" Ha Beng took a big bite of a Rou Jia Mo, praising it to Mai Ge. He felt the rush of blood through his body; it was much more satisfying than drinking strong liquor. Enjoying delicious food while gaining strength—there was nothing better.

Mai Ge stood smiling to the side; being praised was always a pleasant thing.

Ha Ga nodded, giving Mai Ge a thumbs up because he wasn't fluent in Common language.

Not long after, Kang Di arrived again on his black donkey, the clatter of its hooves quite crisp.

"Looks like you have a new product today, Boss Mai. Give me one serving of the new products." Kang Di, who had just entered, glanced at Ha Beng and Ha Ga, who were holding a white flatbread in both hands and munching on it. The tempting aroma of meat wafted through the restaurant. He looked at Mai Ge and said with a smile.

"Okay, please wait a moment." Mai Ge smiled and nodded, turning to go into the kitchen. Kang Di's smile seemed never to fade; he always wore a cheerful smile, no matter who he was talking to.

"Good morning, Little Boss." Kang Di sat down in his usual spot, smiling at Amy.

"Good morning, Smiling Uncle." Amy nodded in response. This uncle was always smiling, as if he was wearing a smiling mask.

"This La Zhi Rou Jia Mo is so delicious today! The taste is absolutely amazing!" Ha Beng turned to look at Kang Di, chewing as he said, "Highly recommended!"

"Okay, I'll try it." Kang Di was even more eager.

A moment later, Mai Ge came out with a La Zhi Rou Jia Mo in a paper bag, smiling as he handed it to Kang Di. "Your La Zhi Rou Jia Mo."

Kang Di took it, his gaze first drawn to the little girl's back drawn on the bag. He smiled and looked up at Mai Ge, saying, "Boss Mai, did you draw the Little Boss on it?"

"Really?" Amy, who had been somewhat bored and leaning against the counter, brightened up at the mention of the drawing. She slid down from her high stool, walked to the table, and tiptoed to get a closer look. Seeing the little girl's back on the paper bag, she exclaimed with delight, "Daddy, is that really Amy? Did you draw it?"

"Yes, it's Little Amy. Our restaurant doesn't have anyone more representative than Little Amy." Mai Ge nodded with a smile, reaching out to pat Amy's head.

"Daddy is so amazing, your drawing is so beautiful." Amy rubbed against Mai Ge's hand and said happily.

The three people in the restaurant watched this scene with kind smiles. Such a heartwarming moment was almost enviable.

The adorable half-elf girl's back on the bag would soon become famous throughout the Chaos City.

Kang Di picked up the Rou Jia Mo and examined it. The white flatbread had been cut in the middle and filled with a mixture of lean and fatty meat. Rou Jia Mo was indeed a fitting name. He had never seen a flatbread made like this before; it was truly unique.

He took a bite. The soft yet chewy Bai Ji Mo combined with the tender, flavorful braised meat, all infused with the gravy, created a wonderful flavor that spread throughout his mouth, making him feel as if he had been elevated.

After swallowing, Kang Di couldn't help but let out a heavy yawn. Coming to his senses, he gave everyone a slightly embarrassed smile.

However, to his surprise, after swallowing the Rou Jia Mo, the blood in his body seemed to surge, even more intensely than after practicing swordsmanship for one hour that morning. It instantly brought his body to its optimal state, just like the magical Yang Zhou Fried Rice.

"Boss, I'd like two more Rou Jia Mo." Kang Di hadn't finished his own when he looked up at Mai Ge and said with a smile.

"Okay, please wait a moment." Mai Ge nodded, turning and going into the kitchen, in a good mood.

Although the effects of this La Zhi Rou Jia Mo are a bit strong, it seems to be well-received so far. It's also quick to make, easy to carry, and not limited to any particular dining location. Perhaps restaurants can gain more fame with it.
