Chapter 90 - Chapter 90 Let's Call It The Burning Legion

"Okay, please wait a moment." Mai Ge nodded and turned to walk towards the kitchen.

He had naturally noticed Harrison's glance, but since they were ordering separately, it didn't conflict with the rules, so he didn't say anything. Doing this kind of thing between close friends was nothing, he wasn't that rigid.

"Palmer and Pabor, those two little guys, have also fallen in love with this Yang Zhou Fried Rice too, haven't they?" Harrison asked with a smile, looking at Jergi after Mai Ge entered the kitchen.

"Yes, the two little ones love it. Even Angus wanted to try it, but he's only recently started teething and can only eat a little bit of egg." Jergi's smile was especially bright when talking about the children.

"Okay, then take my portion back to your children later and tell them that Uncle Harrison bought it for them. I'll take them to the horse farm next time." Harrison nodded with a smile.

"Okay, the two kids are still talking about your two little white horses." Jergi nodded, and the two chatted about the horse farm again. Harrison's family also had a stake in a horse farm, and had previously asked Jergi if he wanted to invest money to buy some more horses and expand the farm. It would be really interesting if it was a large horse farm like those in Luo Du where horse racing could take place.

Crassus quietly finished two servings of Yang Zhou Fried Rice, still unable to come up with any conditions that would sway Mai Ge, and was somewhat frustrated.

He did have a few old friends in the Chaos City, but he felt a little embarrassed to ask them for help with this kind of thing.

Moreover, the methods those guys come up with are mostly about bribery and extortion. He didn't want his precious apprentice to start learning magic against her will. Without initiative, one cannot learn magic well, because the process is destined to be tedious.

"Grandpa Half Beard, don't be sad. Although I can't go with you to a far place to teach you Fireball spell, you can stay here and I'll teach you. After you've learned it, you can go home obediently." Amy looked at Crassus and said earnestly. It seemed quite pitiful that Grandpa White Beard's beard was burned off. Not only was he unable to walk properly, but his magic was also very poor. It was really worrying.

Crassus's eyes lit up as Amy looked at him with pity, as if he had been enlightened. If he could be flexible and not necessarily go back to the Mage Tower in Luo Du, perhaps Mai Ge would agree.

However, if that's the case, the original plan will have to change, they'll need to send some things from Luo Du.

"Little girl, check please." Thinking this, Crassus took two dragon coins from his pocket and gently placed them on the table, a smile returning to his face.

"That's twelve gold coins in total, here's eight gold coins back." Amy took two dragon coins from the table, then handed eight gold coins to Crassus, giving him a slightly strange look, thinking to herself, "Is learning fireball spell from me such a happy thing?"

"Goodbye, little girl." Crassus took the gold coins, picked up his mage's staff, and walked towards the door with a smile.

Although this might be a bit troublesome, but on second thought, he didn't really want to go back to that Mage Tower where he had spent his whole life. It was so gloomy and somber. Back then, that guy often called it the Coffin Tower.

In contrast, the air in Chaos City seemed to be filled with the scent of freedom. More importantly, he could eat delicious food here, and may be even take on a precious apprentice. Spending the rest of his days like this wouldn't be so bad.

The guests watched Crassus leave, somewhat puzzled, wondering why his mood had suddenly improved.

Sargeras lowered his head slightly, avoiding Crassus's eyes. He had expected Crassus to scold or warn him, but Crassus only glanced at him before opening the door and leaving.

"Phew, that scared the hell out of me." Sargeras breathed a sigh of relief, glancing back at Crassus's slowly receding figure before continuing to chew on his Rou Jia Mo in his hand.

He could clearly feel his blood boiling, constantly surging against the bottleneck in his bloodline. It seemed that something he craved was sealed within it. The force of the surge wasn't great, but it gave him unprecedented hope. He could evolve simply by eating Rou Jia Mo. This feeling captivated him.

"By the way, if it works for me, it should also work for the Lava Clan warriors. Most of them haven't even unlocked their second evolution yet, so the effect should be even stronger. Looks like I should go back sometime and let them taste this Rou Jia Mo, then form an adventure group to do high level quests and earn money to buy Rou Jia Mo." Sargeras nodded. The Lava Demon race had been dormant for many years. It was time to show their true colors and let those guys take notice. After thinking for a moment, he muttered to himself, "How about I call it the Burning Legion?"

After a busy night, at nine o'clock sharp, Mai Ge refused to take any more orders. After the remaining customers finished eating and paid, he flipped the sign, closed the door, and let out a long sigh of relief. After working non-stop for four hours, he was still a little tired. He sat down on a chair at the door, intending to rest for a while before starting to clean the restaurant.

"Daddy, we sold 305 Rou Jia Mo and 76 rainbow fried rice today, earning a total of 1371 gold coins." Amy said, putting the Ugly Duckling down and giving Mai Ge a back massage while standing on tiptoe.

"Hmm, that's doubled the income!" Mai Ge's eyes lit up. After deducting costs, the net profit was over nine hundred gold coins. Increasing the supply of Rou Jia Mo today was definitely the right choice.

Over fifty new customers arrived that evening, most brought by regular customers, others drawn in by the restaurant's lively atmosphere. The 1000 person task progress had reached 260/1000; at this rate, it should be completed within fifteen days.

Over four hundred Rou Jia Mo have been sold. At the current pace, the task will be completed in two more days, unlocking the tofu pudding.

The thought of a steaming bowl of tofu pudding made his heart flutter.

"Daddy, we've been eating Rou Jia Mo for days now. When will you come up with something new and delicious?" Amy asked expectantly as she massaged Mai Ge's back.

"Soon, just two more days and I'll make some new delicious food for Little Amy." Mai Ge smiled and patted Amy's head, then hesitated for a moment before looking at her earnestly and asking, "Little Amy, do you want to learn magic?"

"Yes, I want to learn super powerful magic so that when they bully Daddy again, I can use magic to protect Daddy." Amy nodded seriously, reaching out her little hand to grab one of Mai Ge's fingers and said, "Don't worry, Daddy, I will become very powerful."
