Chapter 174 - Chapter 173 The Curtain Falls

"It is indeed Miss Sally. The intelligence said she may have passed through Chaos City half a month ago. The search network in Chaos City has long been withdrawn. I didn't expect to meet her here." Ficare sat down in a corner seat and secretly sized up Sally.

News of Miss Sally's runaway had reached Chaos City more than half a month ago. As one of the most powerful families in the Elven race, the departure of the exceptionally talented young lady was a major event.

Moreover, because Lady Helena recently proposed her as the Crown Princess, this noblewoman, whose brilliance had been overshadowed by Princess Irina since childhood, has once again come into the sights of the Elven race and become one of the most sought-after people.

But at this very moment, Sally ran away from home, just like the princess of yesteryear, heading south.

The matter was kept secret among the elves, but those who were ordered to search for her naturally knew. Besides the official rank, the bounty for finding Sally was equally astonishing. Ficare could already feel his heart pounding, perhaps soon he would be transferred back to the Wind Forest from the Chaos City.

Ficare scooped up a spoonful of sweet tofu pudding and put it in his mouth, savoring the delicious sensation spreading within. He nodded contentedly, indeed, those who chase after good food are always lucky.

"Boss Mai, the bill, please." Crassus said with a smile as he stood up and walked to the kitchen.

"It's eight gold coins in total." Mai Ge nodded with a smile. He was quite grateful that Crassus and Yulian hadn't used their age and strength to make things difficult for him. Otherwise, it would have been a bit troublesome.

"I've already found the magic room. It's in the Magic Academy of Chaos Academy, on the third floor of building number three. You can bring Amy over at 6:30 tomorrow morning." Crassus wasn't in a hurry to take the money, and said with a smile, "When you come, please also bring me a serving of Yang Zhou Fried Rice and a serving of Sweet Tofu Pudding. I don't take out food, so it shouldn't be a problem if you deliver it, right?"

"Chaos Academy?" Mai Ge was a little surprised. He hadn't expected Crassus to choose Chaos Academy as the location. This way, Amy could play with other children during her free time, which should make her happier. However, after hearing Crassus's next words, his expression became a little strange.

"Could this be the origin of otherworldly food delivery?" Mai Ge raised an eyebrow, hesitated for a moment, and then reached out to take the sixteen gold coins Crassus handed him. Respecting one's teacher is the right thing to do. Amy can be a little mischievous because Crassus and Yulian like her, but if he follows suit, he'll be a bit out of line.

"I'll be relying on you for Amy from now on." Mai Ge said, nodding earnestly.

Crassus, who was originally prepared to argue with Mai Ge, was taken aback when he saw Mai Ge accept the money so readily and address him with respect. His gaze towards Mai Ge changed, and he smiled and nodded, saying, "Alright, she is my only apprentice."

Mai Ge smiled, those words were worth a thousand promises.

Crassus left, and Yulian also settled the bill with Amy and got up to leave.

After truly tasting the deliciousness of tofu pudding, the supporters of both sweet and savory tofu pudding became even more determined, and the air seemed to be filled with the smell of gunpowder, as if it would explode at the slightest provocation.

Luna and Sally put down their spoons almost simultaneously, letting out a satisfied sigh. They had never eaten such delicious food in their lives. Given their background, they could have had many more expensive and luxurious banquets, but none of them could compare to this serving of tofu pudding.

Both were convinced their food was the best, while the other's looked utterly inferior, creating a slightly tense atmosphere.

However, their good manners allowed them to restrain themselves, and they paid the bill and left one after the other.

"Amy, be a good girl and listen to your father." Luna stood up, patted Amy's head, and looked at Palmer with a smile, saying, "And Palmer, you've already done a great job. You're a recognized math genius. Don't be discouraged. A real man should be more courageous in the face of setbacks."

"Yes, I understand, Teacher Luna." Palmer nodded solemnly, his eyes regaining their fighting spirit.

"Come again next time, Teacher Luna! Daddy will make lots and lots of delicious food, and there will definitely be even better food in the future." Amy looked at Luna with a hint of reluctance, promising her something.

"Yes, I'll come back." Luna nodded with a smile, her eyes also filled with anticipation.

"A lot of delicious food?" The guests looked up one after another. The three dishes served so far had already given them an unprecedented culinary experience. Could Boss Mai possibly surpass himself and create even more delicious food?

Amidst the doubts, the crowd was mostly filled with anticipation.

After playing with the Ugly Duckling for a while, Pabor, finding himself too weak to hold it any longer, had to return it to Amy.

Soon, Harrison and his friends got their seats. While Harrison, Jergi, and Pabor all ordered sweet tofu pudding, Palmer stubbornly ordered a savory tofu pudding with a Rou Jia Mo. He ate with increasing joy, and the smile on his face masked his melancholy.

"Goodbye Mushroom Head, Uncle Blue Fatty, and Uncle Gray Fatty." Amy waved goodbye from the doorway, holding the Ugly Duckling.

"Goodbye, Big Sister, Fat Kitten." Pabor waved his hand, his gaze reluctantly leaving the Ugly Duckling, and turned around, holding Jergi's big hand.

"Goodbye, Little Boss." Jergi and Harrison said with smiles, Jergi still holding a box of Yang Zhou Fried Rice in his hand.

"Why didn't you say hello to me?" Palmer stopped and looked at Amy with some dissatisfaction.

"Because I haven't decided what to call you yet." Amy replied earnestly.

"Goodbye!" Palmer paused for a moment, then turned and left in anger.

"Goodbye." Amy nodded, turned and went into the restaurant, looking like she was in a good mood.

"Boss, they're all eating that tofu pudding thing. Should we order some to try?" At the table near the entrance, Kiel looked around and asked.

"What are we working so hard to earn money for?" Sargeras asked, looking at the two of them.

"For The Rou Jia Mo!" Kiel and Mond shouted almost instinctively.

"Eat!" Sargeras waved his hand, pointing domineeringly to the fifteen Rou Jia Mo that almost filled an entire table.

The busy evening continued until nine o'clock. When the time came, Mai Ge smiled and declined the requests of the later customers to enter the restaurant and order food. He closed the door and breathed a long sigh of relief.

The debate between savory and sweet in this other world had temporarily come to an end, and it was indeed more brutal than he had imagined.

"Daddy, we sold a total of 512 Rou Jia Mo, 90 servings of rainbow fried rice, and 240 servings of tofu pudding today. Our income... is 255,600 copper coins. I've also converted the dragon coins and gold coins into copper coins." Amy ran over happily, carrying the Ugly Duckling, her little face full of "Praise me!" expressions.

"My Little Amy is getting better and better at math, that's amazing! You're so good at math, this is what a math genius girl looks like, right?" Mai Ge smiled, hugged Amy, and kissed her hair, showering her with compliments.

Amy calculated the turnover, and the net profit should be more than 1,700 gold coins. Adding it to the previous savings, it is only about 1,000 gold coins away from reaching 10,000 gold coins. Moreover, the number of new customers today is almost twice as many as usual, and the target of 1,000 people entering the restaurant and spending money has been reached: 880/1000.

"Braised chicken might spark a new wave of chicken-eating craze. After buying 0.5 physical fitness points, I can return to a normal human physical state. That should allow me to wield a sword again, right?" Mai Ge thought to himself, his smile widening.
