Chapter 228 - Chapter 227 I've Decided To Roast You!

"Host, please do not slander this system. I am absolutely not such a system!" the system retorted seriously, and said earnestly, "For the safety of the host, so as not to die before the mission is accomplished, this system will enter real time command mode to provide the host with the most accurate analysis. I can tell you with certainty that the frontal charge speed of this level three magical beast, the Copper-skinned Wild Boar, has reached 300 km/h, and it is still accelerating. You cannot stop it."

"Nonsense, I know I can't stop it..." Mai Ge looked at the wild boar charging at them like a heavy truck. He wasn't going to get cocky just because he killed a chicken. He didn't care about Amy's foodie comments for the time being. He picked her up and put her on the big rock next to the hot spring.

This rock is over a person tall and more than three meters thick, and it's connected to the mountain. If that wild boar wasn't crazy, it probably wouldn't have used its head to ram into this rock.

But Mai Ge was worried it would jump up, even a cornered dog will jump over a wall, let alone a magical beast wild boar.

"Amy, stay up there and don't move. I'll lure this big wild boar away." Mai Ge reached out and untied Amy's little cloak, then patted her head earnestly.

"Oh." Amy nodded obediently, but soon asked with a conflicted expression, "But... but if you distract it, won't we miss out on our delicious wild boar meat tonight?"

"We can go buy it." Although the situation was tense, but Mai Ge couldn't help but laugh. He was obviously no match for this level three magical beast, and although Amy knew the Fireball spell, but such a small fireball would probably only knock off a few hairs when it hit this copper-skinned wild boar. It might even completely enrage the wild boar and make it target Amy. Mai Ge didn't want to take that risk.

"System, if I die, no one will buy your ingredients. Call for backup immediately, any kind of precision air strike will do!" Mai Ge grabbed the red cloak with one hand and his sword with the other and ran to the side, calling out in his mind.

"The copper-skinned wild boar is ten times more aggressive towards red targets. Host, are you sure you want to use yourself as bait? It has already locked onto you, and its speed is still increasing! 335! 345! 350!..." The system's voice also gradually increased.

"Support! I need support!" Mai Ge couldn't help but complain. The system was spouting nonsense. Anyone could see that the wild boar with its scarlet eyes, charging towards him at full speed, was ferocious. Did he really have to have a boar fight in Stranglethorn Vale?

Although he felt light and agile, but looking at the menacing wild boar, Mai Ge felt that the more likely outcome of his actions would be that he would be gored by the boar.

"System, you said that if I brought Amy, the chance of survival would be 100%. What about now?" Mai Ge ran towards the cliff on the right and continued to ask.

"If you insist on not letting her take action, your chances of survival are 0%." the system's cold voice rang out.

"Daddy, you can do it! You can do it!" Mai Ge turned to look at Amy, who was standing on the rock, twisting her body in support of him.

The Ugly Duckling lay lazily on the rock, seemingly uninterested in even glancing at the fiercely charging copper-skinned wild boar.

"Can it really work?" Mai Ge was a little doubtful. The wild boar was already fifty meters away, while he was still some distance from the edge of the cliff and it was too late to rush there.

"Come on, let me test just how strong this level three magical beast really is." Mai Ge suddenly stopped in his tracks. The black boar, the size of an elephant, charged straight at him, kicking up clouds of black dust. Thumb thick thorns were snapped in two with a single step, offering no resistance whatsoever. The ground trembled, and small stones rustled as they rolled down the mountainside.

His heart was pounding, and his hand gripping the long sword slowly tightened. Mai Ge's expression, however, became remarkably calm. He pointed the sword diagonally and narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Daddy is the most powerful! Little Pig can't beat Daddy!" Amy stood on the rock, waving her little hands, her eyes wide as she watched the wild boar charging towards Mai Ge, her little face full of confidence.

The system used electric shocks to awaken the dormant cells, and also to awaken some things that Mai Ge • Alex used to be able to do easily, such as... leaping several meters high.

The rapidly charging wild boar brought with it a gust of wind that stung the face, carrying fine sand and thorns that swept in from all directions.

Mai Ge leaped three meters, narrowly avoiding the wild boar's head-on charge. He spun 180 degrees, reversed his grip on his long sword, and thrust it down!

"Clang!"

The long sword that easily pierced the Flaming Chicken's throat seemed to have struck an iron plate, penetrating less than ten centimeters. After penetrating, it was clamped down, and the powerful and terrifying inertia almost threw him forward. With a twist of his wrist, he forcibly withdrew the sword, only managing to open a small notch on the wild boar's back and cut off a dozen or so wild boar hairs as thick as a little finger.

Mai Ge landed with a slight stagger, thrusting his long sword behind him to steady himself. His hand holding the sword felt sticky, and the web between his thumb and forefinger was split open, with some blood oozing out.

"A level three magical beast, indeed different." Mai Ge raised an eyebrow. The wound on his hand didn't hurt much, but his strength limited his ability to kill the wild boar with one sword. Or rather… he really couldn't beat it.

He couldn't even break through the defenses, so killing the wild boar was an impossible task for him.

"System, lend me 1 point of physical fitness for five seconds?" Mai Ge asked in his mind. He was sure that with just 1 point, he could easily kill this wild boar.

"If it's 1 point, the amount of electricity that needs to pass through the host's body might be quite large, and the duration would be longer. Are you sure you want to choose to be electrocuted now?" the system's voice sounded.

"There's no time at all!" Mai Ge watched as the big wild boar screeched to a halt, leaving two exaggerated tracks on the ground, before turning back to stare at him. His chest heaved violently, even with his current physical condition, completing that difficult maneuver had taken a toll on him.

"Host, you don't have the authority to receive 1 physical attribute point in the first place." the system calmly replied.

"Roar!" The copper-skinned wild boar stomped its hind legs on the ground, its back wound throbbing with pain. Its eyes, glaring at Mai Ge, turned even redder. With its four hooves pushing off the ground, it charged at Mai Ge again. Although it was uphill and its body looked fat and clumsy, but it accelerated extremely quickly, reaching speeds of over 100 km/h in the blink of an eye, and crashed into Mai Ge once more.

"What a lunatic!" Mai Ge turned and ran toward a small tree. He stepped on the trunk and used the momentum to leap up, narrowly avoiding the wild boar before it crashed into the tree. His steps were slightly bent to dissipate the impact, and his movements looked effortless and relaxed, but only he knew that his stamina was rapidly declining.

"Daddy, you can do…" Amy's gaze fell on Mai Ge's bleeding right hand. Her cheerful voice stopped abruptly, and her expression turned angry. She stretched out her little hand, and a ball of blue purple flame rose from her little hand, suddenly shrinking and condensing into a small fireball. She glared at the wild boar that had turned around and said angrily, "Little Pig, although Daddy can easily defeat you, but I've decided to roast you!"

As soon as she finished speaking, a blue purple fireball flew crookedly toward the wild boar that had turned around and was charging again.
