Chapter 325 - Chapter 324 Find Someone, Then Kill Him

In a simple yet luxurious study room, a dark green letter turned to ashes between slender fingers. Joshua, sitting in a mahogany chair, held a tall crystal glass between his fingers, the amber wine in the glass swirling slightly. His usually gentle and refined handsome face was now as cold as frost.

"Alex, you really are alive. But where are you hiding now? Dragon Island? No, those foolish behemoths want to kill you more than anyone else. Twilight Forest? No, countless orcs died at your hands during the border war. Wind Forest is impossible too. Although you are confident and crazy enough, but appearing in Wind Forest with a half-elf daughter is no different from courting death…" A low muttering echoed in the room, causing the papers on the table to tremble slightly.

"If you're not in the Los Empire, then the most likely place is probably the Chaos City, right? A city where all races coexist, so no matter what kind of person appears there, they won't stand out. Alex may not be very bright, but he's alert and knows which places are dangerous and which are safe. However, it's not easy to find someone deliberately hiding in the Chaos City." Joshua slowly raised the wine glass in his hand, but stopped abruptly just before bringing it to his lips, and then smashed it on the ground.

Amber-colored liquor and glittering crystal shards were scattered all over the floor. Joshua stood up with a somewhat ferocious expression, clenched his fists, and growled hoarsely, "Alex, you better not let me find you. So many years have passed, and Irina still hasn't forgotten you. The only way is to kill you and that little bastard completely. I was too soft-hearted back then."

"Your Highness the Second Prince, are you alright?" came the butler's somewhat anxious voice from outside the door.

"I'm fine. Have Xiu Si come over." Joshua's expression instantly returned to calm as he spoke indifferently.

"Yes." the butler's voice rang out, followed by the sound of quick footsteps as he walked away.

Joshua turned around and pulled out a map from the top shelf of the bookshelf. He spread it out on the desk, his brown eyes slowly scanning it, his brows furrowed, as if he was thinking about something.

"Your Highness, Xiu Si has arrived." A short while later, the butler's voice came from outside the door.

"Let him in." Joshua said without looking up.

The heavy wooden door was pushed open, and a tall, thin young man with short blond hair, dressed in a black mage's robe, walked in. A red scythe of death was embroidered on his chest.

The mage appeared to be in his thirties, with a sickly pale complexion, a scar running from his brow to his left eye, and unusually light gray eyes that looked somewhat like dead fish eyes. His entire body was shrouded in a black mage's robe, exuding a chilling aura.

The black leather boots clicked on the crystal shards, but this did not change his expression in the slightest. He looked at Joshua with a fanatical gaze, bowed his head, and said respectfully, "Xiu Si greets Your Highness."

"I want you Asuras to find someone and then kill him." Joshua said softly, looking away from the map on the table.

"Your Highness, please give your orders." Xiu Si said respectfully, bowing his head.

"Mai Ge • Alex." Joshua said calmly, looking at Xiu Si.

"Alex!" Xiu Si looked up abruptly, his eyes filled with shock and disbelief as he looked at Joshua. He hesitated for a moment and said, "Your Highness, wasn't Alex already dead back then? And for so many years we have been searching for evidence to prove whether he is really dead, but there is nothing to prove that he is still alive."

"No, he's still alive, and someone has already proven that, so you have to find him before everyone else, kill him, and bring me his head." Joshua shook his head slightly and looked at Xiu Si seriously.

"If Alex was still alive, I would definitely kill him and avenge the humiliation of that year!" Xiu Si's expression suddenly turned ferocious, and the scar between his eyebrows looked like an ugly centipede.

"Remember, no matter what grudges you had back then, once you find him, kill him first. If you fail, you can bring me your head." Joshua said with a slightly cold expression.

"Yes!" Xiu Si's expression hardened, and he quickly bowed his head respectfully. As the youngest level nine mage in the empire and the leader of the Asura, he still felt like he was walking on thin ice when facing Joshua.

It wasn't just because he was one of the heirs to the imperial throne, more likely, it was because he dared to set a trap to bring the then-rising Alex down from his pedestal, the man who had once made him feel the fear of being dominated, the man who had trampled him, who was once considered the most promising genius mage in the Los Empire to reach the top of the mage tower.

They both reached level nine at the same time that year, and what was supposed to be their peak battle became his lifelong humiliation.

One sword strike—he used only one sword strike.

And then he lost.

If it wasn't for the moment the sword tip pierced his brow, giving him an inescapable sense of death, he wouldn't have believed that he couldn't even withstand Alex's sword strike.

From then on, the son of the Mage Tower fell from the clouds to the mortal world, becoming a joke.

After that, Alex embarked on the path of the strong step by step, defeating level ten warriors and slaying giant dragons. His rapid advancement and immense strength made it difficult for the younger generation to catch up. Even he, the so-called leader of the younger generation, could only despair.

So the Mage Tower lost a mage who never missed a class, and the nights of Luo Du gained an Asura commander, whose scythe of death silently reaped lives.

"Although I know he's not dead, but I can't be sure where he is now, but the most likely place is probably this Chaos City." Joshua pointed his finger, and the map on the desk slid toward Xiu Si. He said in a slightly deep voice, "Remember, this information must be kept strictly confidential. No one is allowed to leak a single word about it except for Asura's people."

"Yes, I will send someone to the Chaos City to gather information immediately." Xiu Si put away the map on the table and said respectfully.

"Also, when you kill him, kill everyone close to him, no matter who they are." Joshua instructed after a moment of silence.

"Yes." A hint of surprise flashed in Xiu Si's eyes, but he said nothing.

"Go down." Joshua sat back down in his chair and closed his eyes.

Xiu Si lowered his head, took two steps back, then turned and left, slowly closing the study room door behind him.

"Mai Ge • Alex, as long as you're alive, many people really can't sleep well. So, you should just die…" Joshua's voice echoed softly in the study room.

"First Prince, Simon's estate is right here." On the outskirts of Luo Du City, a black carriage was parked by the roadside outside a rather spacious estate. Quinn said softly.
