Chapter 407 - Chapter 405 Is That Really The Case?

"Wow, that's amazing! Okay, I'll take it then, thank you, Little Sprout." Amy's eyes lit up, and she solemnly placed the two seeds into the box that Daphne had given her.

"You'd better not let it get into mud or water, or your house might get crushed." Ignaz warned, then looked at Amy with a hint of hesitation. "And why do you call me 'Little Sprout'? I'm older than you, okay?"

"Because you have a little bean sprout on your head! I think this little bean sprout is so cute, so I thought it was the best way to call you that." Amy said with a smile, looking at the little green bean sprout on Ignaz's head.

"This is clearly a sapling of the Tree of Wisdom, not some little bean sprout! My father said that only the most talented Tree Spirit Demons can grow a Tree of Wisdom, which is a symbol of wisdom and talent!" Ignaz said with some pride.

"Then why do you always come in last place in every exam?" Amy asked, somewhat puzzled.

"This…" Ignaz felt like he had been hit hard and was speechless. He scratched his head and said, "Actually, I don't care to compete with them. Otherwise, with my brains, I could easily be number one."

"Don't you feel ashamed to say such things in front of the person who is number one?" Daphne said with her arms crossed, somewhat disdainfully.

Ignaz blushed and looked at Amy, saying, "Anyway, this isn't some little bean sprout, it's a tree of wisdom. If you really want to give me a nickname, you can call me the Tree of Wisdom."

"Okay, Little Sprout." Amy nodded earnestly.

"Tree of Wisdom!"

"A Little Sprout of Wisdom?"

"What the heck is that?"

"It's still a Little Sprout."

"Fine, a Little Sprout it is." Ignaz reluctantly conceded, accepting the reality.

"The children have already arrived, Pabor. The Big Sister you've been longing for is right there, and it seems there are two of them today." A carriage slowly pulled up in front of the restaurant. Jergi lifted the curtain and glanced at the crowd standing at the restaurant entrance, smiling as he spoke.

"Big Sisters? Where are they?" A little head peeked out from the carriage. Upon seeing Amy and Daphne, he immediately opened his little arms happily and cried out, "Big Sisters! I want kisses! I want hugs! I want to be lifted up high!"

"I can't kiss you, I can't hug you, I can't lift you up." Amy looked at Pabor and coldly rejected him three times in a row.

Pabor's happy expression instantly vanished. He pouted and looked pitifully at Daphne beside her.

"Daphne won't do either." Before Pabor could even speak, Amy had already refused on Daphne's behalf, looking at Pabor seriously and saying, "Who isn't a baby?"

"Baby…baby walk by himself, carry himself…" Pabor sniffed, trying hard not to let the tears fall.

"Hahaha, what an adorable little girl, darling, is she the Little Boss you were talking about? She's so cute." A woman with a big pregnant belly poked her head out, looking at Amy with affection, her eyes almost curving into crescent moons, showing no intention of standing up for her son.

"Yes, Miranda, she is the Little Boss. I believe the baby in your belly must be a lovely little princess." Jergi was still holding a little one with a wooden pacifier in his mouth. He smiled and nodded, then gently nudged Palmer sitting next to him and said, "Palmer, why don't you say hello to everyone?"

"Palmer? What are you doing here?" Daphne asked, somewhat surprised, as she stood on tiptoe to look at the carriage.

"Wasn't he pretty angry when he lost to Amy in math last time?" Ignaz muttered under his breath.

"They insisted I come. Actually, I didn't want to come at all. I just wanted to stay home and study. Studying makes me happy." Palmer said, looking a little awkwardly at the curious Daphne and Ignaz. He hadn't expected Amy to invite them both.

"But Big Brother… Daddy just said there's a new dessert today, didn't you get on the carriage yourself?" Pabor looked up at Palmer, somewhat puzzled.

"Pfft… Hahahaha…" Ignaz burst out laughing, his belly jiggling uncontrollably.

Palmer's expression stiffened. Looking at the innocent-looking Pabor, he said somewhat angrily, "I'm not carrying you today either. Walk by yourself." He then jumped off the carriage.

"The little guy's pride is really getting stronger and stronger. He knows he can't lose face in front of girls." Miranda said, smiling as she looked at Palmer.

"Yes." Jergi nodded with a smile, then gently pressed Miranda's hand and said tenderly, "Sit down first, don't move, I'll help you in a bit." He got up and first lifted Pabor to the ground, then handed Angus to a servant beside him, before carefully helping Miranda slowly down the stairs.

"Wow, Uncle Blue Fatty, is this auntie's belly full of a little sister?" Amy asked curiously, looking at Miranda's bulging belly.

"Yes, look, she already has three older brothers, this must be a little sister." Jergi nodded with a smile.

"Little girl, do you prefer little sisters? Don't you like little brothers?" Miranda asked Amy, her voice gentle.

"Yes, little girls are cuter and more fun! I love little girls so much!" Amy nodded and said happily.

"Then when Auntie gives birth to the little sister, she can play with you. Auntie brought you a little gift today." Miranda took a small gold bracelet from Jergi's hand, gently pulled Amy's little hand over and put it on. The openwork gold bracelet was exquisitely crafted and was even more dazzling against Amy's snow-white skin.

"What a beautiful bracelet! It looks so good on Amy." Daphne exclaimed. Then, glancing at the long gray box in Amy's hand, her expression hardened slightly. The gift she'd given seemed a little ugly...

"Thank you, Auntie. I love the bracelet just like the gifts from Daphne and Little Sprout." Amy said sweetly, shaking the bracelet in her hand. Then she took Daphne's little hand and said, "Please come in. Although not all the guests have arrived yet, but you can sit in the restaurant."

Daphne's eyes lit up again, her gaze towards Amy seemingly glowing.

"Okay, this is my first time at this restaurant." Miranda nodded with a smile, taking Jergi's hand as they walked into the restaurant. She said, "Darling, you said the restaurant only serves two kinds of food, is that really true?"

"Boss Mai said he's going to be making some new dishes today, so there might be more…" Jergi said with a slightly stiff expression, suddenly realizing that he seemed to have forgotten something very important.

"Is that really the case?" Miranda asked noncommittally.
