Chapter 409 - Chapter 407 Little Bird! Little Bird!

Amy looked into Jessica's clear eyes, then at the purple crystal in her hand, slowly clenched her fist, nodded firmly, and smiled, saying, "I will keep it safe, just like our friendship, and preserve it forever."

"Mm." Jessica smiled happily and nodded vigorously.

"Scott, Jessica has gained a precious friendship, with the purple stone you gave her, did you see it?" Rebecca smiled as she looked at the two girls holding hands, then turned her head to wipe the corner of her eye.

"I'm not late, am I?" A gentle voice rang out, and Luna walked towards them with a smile.

"Teacher Luna, you're not late! Everyone's here just in time, the party can begin." Amy said happily to Luna.

"Teacher Luna, you're here too!" Jessica looked at Luna with equal joy.

"Yes, Amy and Jessica both look so beautiful today." Luna smiled at the two girls, magically producing two bright red flowers from her hands and pinning them to Amy and Jessica's hair. "I didn't prepare any gifts, so I'm giving each of you a little red flower."

"Teacher Luna, I'm Jessica's mother. Thank you so much for taking care of Jessica and me all this time." Rebecca stepped forward, bowed to Luna, and said gratefully.

"You're too welcome. Jessica is very cute and obedient. I heard you weren't feeling well for a while. Are you feeling better now?" Luna helped her up and asked with concern.

"Thanks to Mr. Mai Ge's help, I'm almost fully recovered and can continue working. Jessica doesn't need to go out anymore." Rebecca nodded.

"Mr. Mai Ge is such a kind man." Luna said with a smile. She didn't know when Mai Ge had helped Jessica's mother, but it was truly good news that Jessica no longer had to beg on the streets everyday. What a beautiful and lovely little girl!

"Teacher Luna!"

As everyone entered, Daphne and Ignaz greeted Luna with delight.

"Hello, Teacher Luna." Pabor said, looking at Luna with some surprise, his expression becoming even more awkward, but he still forced a greeting.

"Daphne, Ignaz, Pabor, hello! So you're all here. Amy invited all her friends." Luna said with a smile, then greeted the parents and sat down with Xi Xi and Lu Lu.

"Look, these are talking birds!"

Two birdcages were placed on a table nearby, and Amy waved to the children.

"Talking birds? Really? My neighbor's parrot can talk too, but it just mimics my neighbor's speech, it can't actually communicate with people." Ignaz was the first to come forward, asking curiously.

"I've never seen a talking bird before! And this bird is beautiful, its feathers seem to shine." Daphne said, looking at Green Bean with anticipation.

"Little bird! Little bird!" Pabor clapped his little hands and called out happily. He grabbed the chair next to him and tried to climb up, but his arms and legs were too short, and he couldn't find a way to climb up for a while.

"Birds can't possibly talk, that's a complete lie." Palmer said dismissively, glancing in their direction.

"This is Green Bean, and this is Black Charcoal. Black Charcoal is hiding because it's too ashamed to be seen, but you can hear its voice." Amy heard Palmer's words, but instead of explaining anything, she introduced Green Bean and Black Charcoal to everyone.

"I'm not hiding because I'm ashamed to face anyone! And my name isn't Black Charcoal. You can call me Fama • Odin • Highness." Black Charcoal's voice came from the birdcage wrapped in black cloth, tinged with annoyance.

"I am Sang Ni. Although they usually call me Green Bean, but I prefer the name Sang Ni." Green Bean spread its wings and said in an ethereal voice, its movements elegant.

"Wow, they really can talk! And they're talking to us, not just learning a few phrases!" Ignaz exclaimed in surprise.

"What a lovely voice! I want to have a cute little talking bird too." Daphne said, turning to Gai Yi.

"This is the first time I've ever seen a talking bird. If I ever see one again, I'll definitely catch it for you." Gai Yi said with a hint of helplessness. The chances of encountering a talking bird are extremely slim.

"Bird...hug." Pabor stretched out his little hands, trying to grab the birdcage on the table, but the table was too high for him, and even on tiptoe he still couldn't reach it.

"It really is a talking bird! So cute, even cuter than our Dai Dai." Miranda's eyes lit up. She smiled and reached out to ruffle Palmer's hair, looking at him and saying, "Palmer, you can't just dismiss things you haven't seen before. Otherwise, you'll only make yourself look shallow, which isn't a quality a man should have. Humility and politeness are what make a real man."

"I understand, Mom." Palmer looked at Miranda, lowered his head in shame, but quickly raised his head again, looked into Miranda's eyes and said earnestly, "I will become a real man and a role model for my brothers."

"I believe you can do it too." Miranda smiled and nodded, her eyes full of encouragement.

Jergi simply sat to the side, watching with a smile. The little one in his arms reached out and tried to grab the chandelier, but although he didn't grab anything, but a happy smile still appeared on his face.

"The children are all here, right?" Mai Ge said with a smile as he came out of the kitchen.

"It's an honor to invite everyone to this party. I hope you all have a great time. Although it's a party, but we're in a restaurant, so please order whatever you like. There's no limit to what you want to eat today, except for tofu pudding." After everyone was seated, Mai Ge continued, and Yabemia placed a menu in front of everyone.

"Wow, there are so many dishes, darling. Are these all new dishes that just came out today?" Miranda exclaimed after just one glance at the menu.

"Probably…may be…perhaps…" Jergi said awkwardly, not expecting Mai Ge to be so straightforward, giving guests a menu and letting them order whatever they wanted at the party.

"Is that so?" Miranda looked at Jergi, whose expression was somewhat embarrassed, her eyes full of laughter. After a while, she continued, "Although the Braised Chicken Rice and Yang Zhou Fried Rice are both delicious, but since there are so many new dishes, I'll try them. A serving of La Zhi Rou Jia Mo, a serving of Sweet Tofu Pudding, and a serving of Spicy Grilled Fish..."
