Cherreads

Chapter 433 - Chapter 431 Probably Moved

"Extremely spicy? Okay, please wait a moment." Mai Ge gave a mysterious smile. Very well, you've walked right into this mess yourself. If it doesn't make you cry from the spiciness today, I'll admit defeat.

"You sell fish too? I love fish the most. I'll also have a large portion of Spicy Grilled Fish, and I want it extremely spicy. This picture looks so real. Boss, do you use magic to turn each dish into a painting?" Hai Wei De asked, looking at the picture of grilled fish on the menu.

"I had an amateur artist draw it." Mai Ge said with a smile. The system had already upgraded the entire menu to include images.

"Host! Please explain what you mean by 'amateur'? Even if this wasn't drawn by the system, but if it were really going to be drawn, the system's drawing skills would at least be professional!" the system's voice protested, but Mai Ge ignored it.

"I want a serving of Yang Zhou Fried Rice!"

"I want a serving of Braised Chicken Rice. I like chicken."

The others also ordered their food. Mai Ge turned and went into the kitchen to cook, while Yabemia brought out the dishes one by one and placed them in front of everyone.

"If you want extremely spicy, how about double the extremely spicy?" Mai Ge glanced at Fu Ke Si, then finely chopped the extremely spicy chili pepper in his hand.

The others had lost interest in continuing their conversation and were now looking expectantly toward the kitchen, waiting for the food to be served.

"Uncle Gold Hair, you broke the chair, you have to pay for it." Amy reminded Jinx.

Jinx glanced back at the chair, now a pile of broken wood, and scratched his head sheepishly. "This Rou Jia Mo was so delicious, I couldn't resist. But I'll pay for the chair."

"Your Rou Jia Mo, ten in total. Would you like me to get you a new chair?" Yabemia approached Jinx with a tray of Rou Jia Mo, asking cautiously, her expression slightly nervous.

"No need, I'll just eat standing up, so I don't break the chair again." Jinx shook his head with a smile, picked up a Rou Jia Mo, and looked at Yabemia with some curiosity, saying, "Little girl, what kind of dragon are you? Why are you working as a waitress here? Dragons are a proud race. Even if the food in this restaurant is delicious, we shouldn't be serving others."

"I…" Yabemia opened her mouth, then lowered her head sadly, shaking it. "I don't even know what kind of dragon I am."

"Is that so?" Jinx looked at Yabemia with some confusion.

"But I love my job. This job makes me proud, and it doesn't make me feel inferior. This is the life and work I love." Yabemia raised her head again, looking at Jinx earnestly.

Jinx looked at the confidence and pride in Yabemia's eyes, a hint of surprise on his face. Half-dragons, even those from the giant golden dragons of Dragon Island, often felt a degree of inferiority due to their origins. But this young girl gave him a sense of confidence, a hidden pride and self-assurance.

"I hope you never lose that pride and confidence. Good luck." Jinx said with a smile, taking a large bite of his Rou Jia Mo and savoring its delicious flavor.

"I will." Yabemia replied softly, as if answering Jinx, yet also as if speaking to herself, before turning and walking towards the kitchen.

"Your Spicy Grilled Fish, extremely spicy." Soon, Yabemia returned with a large portion of grilled fish and gently placed it in front of Fu Ke Si.

The enormous grilled fish was covered in a bright red sauce, teeming with chili peppers. The aroma of spiciness mingled with the fragrance of fish, making one's throat feel slightly parched just from the smell.

"This taste! Why is the spiciness of the chili peppers here so intense? Even the smell alone is enough to make my eyes water. It seems different from the chili peppers in other restaurants." Fu Ke Si squinted. He had lived in Chaos City for many years, so he was no stranger to human food, nor to seasonings like chili peppers. In fact, he even enjoyed spicy food, which was why he had chosen the extremely spicy version.

But now it seemed that the chili peppers added to this fish were different. At least the spiciness was unlike anything he had ever seen before. Of course, the aroma of the fish was also unlike anything he had ever smelled. The mixed flavors were truly tempting, making him unconsciously pick up his chopsticks.

"A giant frost dragon eating extremely spicy grilled fish would probably dehydrate it." Michael said, glancing at the fish in front of Fu Ke Si and shaking his head with a smile. Mai Ge hadn't specified the level of spiciness of the extremely spicy grilled fish, seemingly retaliating for what happened at the restaurant entrance.

"This fish looks extraordinary. The hot, spicy aroma is making my blood boil." Hai Wei De looked at the Spicy Grilled Fish that Sally had just brought him and couldn't help but swallow. His skin began to turn red, as if flames were about to burst out at any moment.

"No, I have to move the chair away this time, or I'll have to pay for it again." Hai Wei De, chopsticks in one hand, got up and moved the chair behind him. He was certain that although this restaurant was run by humans, but the food, besides being delicious, had some special effects that even dragons couldn't resist.

As a giant dragon, he was indeed quite poor, and because of this, he valued money more. Although the dragon race would cover the expenses of this trip, but he couldn't guarantee they would also cover the cost of the damaged chair.

The two of them almost simultaneously picked up a piece of fish with their chopsticks and put it in their mouths.

"Ah!"

"Roar!"

A scream and an excited dragon roar erupted almost at the same time.

Fu Ke Si pressed his hands against the table, his mouth agape, panting heavily. His face was as red as a monkey's bottom, and a cloud of steam rose from his body, hissing as if dry ice had met water. Soon, he was enveloped in a spectacular display of vapor.

Meanwhile, Hai Wei De, letting out a long roar, was engulfed in flames, becoming a fireman, except for the hand holding the chopsticks.

"I never imagined there could be such a spicy fish in this world! It's so delicious! One bite and it's absolutely amazing! I've never eaten such a delicious fish before!" Hai Wei De looked at the grilled fish in front of him with excitement, then picked up a piece of fish with his chopsticks and put it in his mouth. He felt the tender fish meat and the spicy flavor raging in his mouth, and the flames on his body burned even brighter.

"How...how could there be such spicy chili peppers..." Fu Ke Si braced his hands on the table, his forehead covered in cold sweat. Looking at the bright red grilled fish in front of him, his hand holding the chopsticks involuntarily slowly rose and reached towards the grilled fish.

"No! Absolutely not! If I keep eating like this, I'll definitely make a fool of myself! But... why is my hand out of control? And why do I feel tears streaming down my face? Am I crying?" Fu Ke Si stared wide-eyed as he watched the piece of fish being fed into his mouth, tears streaming down his face. The rising mist from his body blurred his vision, and he felt something rapidly draining from his body...

"Daddy, why is he crying?" Amy asked Mai Ge, puzzled.

"Probably... moved." Mai Ge replied with a smile.
