Chapter 445 - Chapter 443 New Spells

"Master, I've already learned the Wind and Fire Wheels. What new spell will we learn today?" In the magic room, Amy looked at Crassus with great curiosity and asked. Two fire wheels spun rapidly beneath her feet, and she rose forty centimeters off the ground, hovering in mid-air.

"Today we won't learn any new spells, but rather conduct a new experiment. I heard that old man Yulian has been teaching you a spell called Extreme Cold Ice Flame recently, right? Today we'll try to combine Extreme Cold Ice Flame with Exploding Fireball and see what kind of effect it will produce." Crassus looked at the two fire wheels beneath Amy's feet, nodded in satisfaction, and said with a smile.

"Combined? How can ice and fire be combined?" Amy asked, puzzled.

"Ice and fire cannot be combined under normal circumstances because their properties are completely opposite. They explode upon contact, and with tremendous power. This is why my battles with Yulian are often extremely destructive." Crassus nodded and smiled, "But Little Amy's situation is a bit special. You released both ice and fire, which is rare among mages because no one would simultaneously cultivate two types of magic. So I was thinking that if Amy combined the two spells together, perhaps a completely new spell could be created, far more powerful than extreme cold ice flames and explosive fireballs."

"Really? Where shall we begin practicing?" Amy's interest was piqued, and she looked at Crassus with excitement.

"Right here. Master will keep an eye on you. Just do your best, Little Amy." Crassus said with a smile, taking two steps back. His words were casual yet revealed the true nature of a master.

"Okay." Amy nodded, her expression suddenly becoming serious. She slowly raised her two little hands, and a ball of icy blue flame rose from her left hand. At the same time, a ball of reddish-purple flame rose from her right hand. The two balls of icy flame and flame, each about twenty centimeters high, burned silently.

Ice and fire appeared simultaneously, cold and heat descended at the same time, clearly separated on either side of Amy.

"Master, I'm going to merge!" Amy said, slowly raising her two small hands. Two balls of flame flew from her palms, heading straight forward, slowly approaching.

The initially isolated cold and heat waves began to become unstable as the ice flame and flame approached, eroding each other and even hissing.

The flame and ice flame trembled slightly, as if they might explode at any moment, but under Amy's control, they continued to slowly approach, attempting to merge.

"Come on, I'll protect you." Crassus's eyes grew brighter, filled with anticipation. This idea had come to him on a whim, whether the fusion would succeed, and whether the power would increase exponentially or cancel each other out, he wasn't sure.

"Master, I feel like they're going to explode. Will they blow up the magic room?" Amy suddenly stopped, asking with some worry.

"It's alright. With Master here, even if it explodes, there won't be any danger. Besides, if the magic room explodes, so be it. Arthur is back today, and soon Amy will have a brand new magic room, dozens of times more advanced than this one." Crassus waved his hand dismissively, not caring at all.

"Boom!"

A loud explosion came from a teaching building in the corner of the magic academy. The three-story building shook, and old plaster fell to the ground. Students and teachers on the first and second floors rushed out of their classrooms in a panic, standing dumbfounded in the open space outside the building, staring at the steaming magic room in the third floor window.

"Teacher, did it explode upstairs?" a student asked curiously.

"It seems so." The magic teacher was also bewildered. He had just sensed a strong magical fluctuation coming from upstairs, but he knew the identity of the person upstairs, so his first priority was to get the students to safety. He dared not confront them.

"Master Crassus? Master Crassus? Are you alright?"

In the steamy magic room, Amy looked at Crassus, whose white hair was standing on end, whose half-grown beard was blown into a slightly curly middle part, and whose face was covered in water, and asked with some concern.

Amy herself was completely unharmed, not even a few drops of water had fallen on her.

"Oh... I'm fine. I just didn't expect the magic power after the fusion to be so terrifying." Crassus chuckled awkwardly. He had originally intended to casually control the problems that arose during the fusion, but he didn't expect that the fusion would explode so suddenly, and with such great power, that he was completely unprepared.

A flame appeared in his hand, and the moisture in the magic room receded as if encountering a natural enemy, instantly returning the magic room to dryness, and he was completely dry.

"Alright, everyone go back to class now. No matter what noise you hear later, don't run away. Just continue with the lesson." The teacher shook his head helplessly, looking at the dissipated moisture, and urged the students back to class.

"Master, did this fusion fail? But I felt like they could really fuse, it's like something was blocking it?" Amy looked up at Crassus and asked, her brow furrowed, seemingly puzzled.

"Little Amy, have you felt it yet?" Crassus, who had initially planned to have Amy give up for the time being, suddenly brightened up and smiled, saying, "Then keep practicing! Find that thing in your practice, then deal with it, and a brand new spell will be created by Little Amy."

"Okay, then I'll continue practicing. Master, step back a little, be careful of the explosion!" Amy nodded, looking at Crassus with some concern.

"Ahem, it was just a little accident, Little Amy, please continue." Crassus blushed slightly, but still took two steps back.

One morning, explosions rang out one after another, and the entire magic school building shook several times. The students in class downstairs gradually got used to the feeling.

...

"Young Master Bluer, did you sleep well last night?" Engelwey knocked on the door of a large house in the backyard of the Elven embassy in Chaos City, on the east side of the city, and asked with a smile.

After a while, the door suddenly opened, and a head covered in green tree sap peeked out.

"Whoa!"

Engelwey glared, instinctively taking two steps back, his right hand raised, almost unable to resist slapping him.

"Uncle Engelwey, what's with that expression? We just met yesterday, and you don't recognize me? I was just wearing an aloe vera face mask." Bluer said with a grin, revealing a set of clean, white teeth.
