His brows frowned as he heard voices loom above him. They sounded unfamiliar. They spoke in hushed tones as though they didn't want to wake him up, or were too scared to do so. He slowly opened his eyes, looking around. He was in a..... He didn't know what he was but it looked pretty exquisite, expensive, most importantly weird. It wasn't a hospital he was sure of that. As he made to sit up an excruciating pain registered itself at his lower abdomen. He groaned with the unanticipated pain causing everyone around to finally realize he had woken up. An elderly woman in a black regalia that looked like the 1960's senior housemistress moved quickly to his side, her eyes getting teary as she bowed to him, "Young master."
Night groaned louder as the pain in his abdomen increased. What the hell did she mean young master? As he groaned the woman shot a glare at a maid dressed in white maid uniform and only then did he notice the line of maids.
The elderly woman continued, "You were involved in an accident..... a fight, at the...." Her nose scrunched in dismay and she almost spat out the word like it was too dreadful to utter, "Pub you work at. The Madame is on her way and so is the doctor." Just then the doctor walked in with two nurses. They began checking the vital signs of the confused Night. The doctor asked him calmly, "Do you feel any pain?"
Night barely conscious of what was going on around him as his forehead broke out in sweat from the mind searing pain, "Yes, my stomach ahhh.."
The doctor injected him a mild dose of anaestetics, "This should help. You're okay Mr. Nick Black, you had a slight concussion but the baby is fine. You need to refrain from stress and you need pheromones from your mate to assure both you and your child. Mr. Black's enigma pheromones will act as medication for you to heal faster. Right now all you need is some warmth and reassurance."
As the medication took it's soothing effect, only then did Night really hear what the doctor was saying. What the hell was going on? What did they mean by enigma, mate and why was he answering someone else's last name? Who was Nick? And most importantly he yelled, "Who's having a baby??!" He passed out almost as quick as the questions came and the yell and the crazy realization that he'd ended up somewhere far, far away ferom home or even human civilization. He was in some freaky universe where men got pregnant!!! The doctor immediately plummeted into action, "Everyone please leave and where is his mate??"
Lumini. A. Black sighed as his the traffic jam tightened on the road. Mostly called Allen, Lu was the world's richest man and owner of thousands of multi-billionaire companies. He was from a wealthy family and had accomplished the most among his lineage. He was inhumanely handsome, masculine with ash eyes that seemed to charm and yet frighten. He had long lashes that only drew your attention to those glassy eyes. Apart from looks, wealth and an aura and sophisticated nature that left you feeling powerless and intimidated, he was also an Enigma. An Enigma was the highest rank in the secondary and primary classification of gender and abilities. Enigma's are few and very rare and are known for their brilliant intellect, their unimaginable strength and pheromeones that could subdue and as well eliminate anyother rank. They usually have an unusual gift or special power and are almost undefeatable. But they are rare because most of their offsprings are usually their mates rank excluding Omegas and a few Alphas. Apart from that they find it very difficult to get a mate as their pheromones when inhaled too often might lead to death. Only their fated mates and children are saved from it but there are too many disadvantages such as the early death of their fated mates, the shortage of Omegas due to their dainty nature and as in Lu's case, the possibility of your mate not loving you back.
His mate, Nick was breathtaking in looks and was more hardworking and perservering than most Omegas. Nick was from a very wealthy home but during his birth, his Omega mother had died from a weak heart after finding out his father had been cheating on her. Nick's father loved him like an average father should but he had remarried and even though his new wife wasn't hostile, she constantly felt the need to register her position in the house and as such Nick had grown up in a suffocating home. His only way out was to be a rebel and he became one. He disowned his father, opened a five star club and stripper house and worked there as well as hire employees.
He had nose, ears and eyebrow piercings. He always dyed his hair light baby pink, almost peach and wore the most revealing dresses. He never believed in love, in settling down or in having a family until the day he was performing and Lu's bestfriend had dragged him to the stripper club. It had happened too fast. Lu was dead drunk in the showeroom and Nick had suddenly gone into heat and was trying to get to the showeroom to wash his face and possibly call his bestfriend Leo to get him inhibitors. Nick was an Omega with an Alpha father so his heat was so strong it could force even an Enigma to rut. Unfortunately, the drunk Enigma in the bathroon was his mate and as their eyes met, the world went silent and when it had unmuted Nick was pregnant. Nick had tried aborting the baby but an Enigma baby was almost impossible and he eventually grew fond of the small life in him. Lu hadn't found out until recently when he'd mistakenly met Nick in a party for Elites when his father was announcing that his son was coming back to the family. At the party he'd recognised his scent on Nick and had immediately noticed the familiar mark of ownership on Nick's neck. The rest happened in an unimaginable frequency. Their parents found out, they were immediately married off and Nick began answering his last name. They lived in the same house but they never saw each other or spoke with each other, as difficult as Nick could get, he continued running his club and even though his mark and pregnancy couldn't allow him make out with anyone, he still pole danced at the club and worked himself to the last, Lu wasn't that inhumane not too care but Nick was stubborn and thick headed. Last night the club had witnessed one of it's usual drunk men fights but in the process, a table had been flung at Nick. It had immediately ended the fight as everyone knew who he was and exactly who his mate was. Currently the pub had been shutdown by Allen, and Nick hospitalized. Allen hadn't been in the country and was flying in. As much as he hated traffic, he also hated Nick's thickheadness and plain rebellious arrogance and it heightened when he was in pain, in a crowd or when people showed him sympathy. When he wakes up at the hospital all three would be present. He needed to get their in time to use his pheromones to give him a false sense of calmness. He didn't exactly like his mate, but he didn't hate him.... and he loved his child.
Allen pushed the door open. His driver turned to him, "Boss?" Allen replied, "Pay attention to the road and bring my car to the hospital. I'll need it to take Nick home."
The driver nodded, "Yes sir."
At the hospital Night had gained conciousness but the panic alarm in his mind had made the child restless causing him unbearable pain which only heightened his confusion and made the baby more restless, "Ahhhh.... What do you mean that I have a baby in me?? Ahhh..." The nurses were confused as the hosspital went in turmoil over Night's yelling.
The doctor tried to soothe his nerves, "What do you remember?"
Night groaned, "My name's Night, I'm a man and I shouldn't have a child in me. And stop whatever is causing me pain."
The doctor sighed, "Mr. Nick I think your concussion might have caused a temporal memory loss but you need to calm down."
Night groaned at the pain and did the only think he knew how to do when he was in pain. He took a surgical blade from the tray next to him and began pressing his thumb at it. The doctor tried to take it from him but Night pressed forther, his blood dripping on the pure cotton white hospital wear.
That was the scene Allen ran into. He immediately rushed to Night's side and held his hand releasing a calming ocean wind scent. Slowly Night calmed down and the paim subdued until Night's eyelids began to feel heavy and slowly began to feel drowsy. He looked up to meet Allen's eyes and he murmured, "Who are you?" before falling asleep.
Allen turned to the doctor as the doctor dismissed everyone, "What's wrong with him?"
The doctor sighed, still ruffled at the bafflind scene that just took place, "He seems to be experiencing slight memory loss or rather a major one and he just experienced a nervous breakdown most likely his body's way of reacting to his confusion.... Had he.... Does he have any habit of hurting himdelf or things related to that?"
Allen hesitated, "I don't really know. I don't know much about him, he doesn't let me come close."
The doctor sighed, "He showed symptoms of a disorder and his body seems to have undergone it's maximum stress capacity.....'' The doctor hesitated then said firmly, "He would have lost the child today if proper attention hadn't been giving him on time and with this stress level I'm afraid you could loose more than the child..... I need you to keep a close eye on him. It is possible that he might be suffering from masochism and that's both unhealthy for the child and your mate."
Allen sighed turning to look at the pale looking man in his hand. Nick always had a teenager flare and aura in everything he did. Right now, in Allen's arm he looked like a porclein doll, like he couldn't even hurt a fly. He looked like he hadn't been eating much and his thumb was still bleeding. Allen ran his hand over it, the deep cut slowly closing up.
The doctor interrupted his thoughts, "You should take him home and take proper care of him. He needs you by his side more than he needs whatever drugs we prescribe him."
Allen nodded understandingly. No matter how stubborn and immature this boy was he'd have to put up with it for the sake of the baby. He stared at him and realised this was the first time he'd actually seen him up close without being blinded by his rut or by the tension of an arguement. Nick was beautiful. He was still on the club's outfit although he'd been stripped off the tight leather red shirt. Apart from the piercings Nick's body was flawless and free from any scar. He avoided anything denting his perfect body. His waist was soft and slim, better than most models. He was simply perfect, atleast to the outer eye. He was about to ask the doctor when he could be discharged when
