After school.
Chihaya Aine, arm linked with Takamatsu Tou's, walked ahead, chatting about girl stuff.
Hakushu tapped away on his phone, trailing behind by a couple of steps.
At Chihaya Aine's invitation, the three of them were heading to Karaoke now.
The goal, naturally, was to invite Takamatsu Tou to join their band.
Nearing the station.
Chihaya Aine specifically turned her head, flashing her little fang, and reminded him,
"Hakushu-kun, hurry up and catch up!"
She was clearly in a good mood.
Hehe…
If everyone in the class knew that I was going to form a band with Tou on only my second day of school, they'd be so surprised!
"Alright."
Hakushu replied, put away his phone, and quickened his pace to catch up with the two girls.
Considering that Tou was his recommendation.
Aine also called him along.
Hakushu decided to go and see for himself as well, just in case something unexpected happened.
Although he didn't think anything unexpected would happen.
Just now, he was using his phone to tell Nijika that he would be late for practice today.
Nijika kindly said it was no problem.
He arrived at the Karaoke.
Occasionally, some passionate singing could be heard.
It was evident that the people here were freely releasing their inner pressure and emotions.
Chihaya Aine volunteered to go to the front desk to reserve a private room, claiming she had a coupon.
Hakushu and Takamatsu Tou were waiting inside.
A little bored, Hakushu observed the surrounding environment.
Each karaoke room door had a small glass window, and he instinctively looked into one.
Hakushu spotted an unexpected figure.
Two brown twin tails, topped with a small black hat.
A black leather skirt.
A look of tsundere coldness.
Just looking at her made him think she was a tsundere.
Actually, she really is a tsundere.
But, the strangest thing is...
Why is she alone in a large Karaoke room, with the table already covered in all sorts of food?
Where are her companions?
It makes one wonder if she can even finish all that food by herself.
Hakushu looked at her with surprise and delight.
Isn't this the true "Bocchi" from Bocchi the Rock?
Her name is Ootsuki Yuyuko.
She's a Lead Guitarist and Lead Vocalist, and her skills are not to be underestimated.
Her defining characteristic? She has no friends!
And she's an even bigger tsundere than Ijiichi Seika!
Also because she has no friends.
So, she can only come to Karaoke alone to practice singing.
Hakushu felt a touch of sympathy. This person was much lonelier than Bocchi-chan!
But, she also has herself to blame for her overly tsundere personality.
Tsundere isn't popular anymore!
Hakushu shook his head.
Besides, he didn't know if this person would give out note rewards.
Following Hakushu's gaze.
Takamatsu Tou was also attracted by the round glass window, and curiously looked inside.
"It feels so lonely..."
"Yeah..."
Hakushu nodded in agreement; this scene did look quite pitiful.
"Did they get separated from their friends?"
"..." Chihaya Aine murmured, her eyes drooping.
Hakushu's lips twitched slightly. Maybe you guessed right.
Knowing some of the plot, he also suspected that Ootsuki Yuyuko might actually have disbanded the band again... again... again.
But undoubtedly, this topic of band disbandment wasn't very suitable to bring up in front of Takamatsu Tou.
So, Hakushu thought for a moment and said,
"Maybe this girl just likes to sing alone."
This was a lie.
"For example, I like going to the cinema alone."
That wasn't a lie.
"And Tou, doesn't she also like going to the planetarium or aquarium by herself?"
Hakushu felt a bit parched after that long speech.
He was inexplicably feeling like Tou had just used a basic attack, but he'd used all three of his skills.
Why did he have to say so much in one go?!
"Hmm..."
Takamatsu Tou looked up, then nodded, seemingly lost in thought.
"If I went with Hakushu..."
"I booked the Karaoke room!"
Chihaya Aine came running over.
"Huh?"
"What are you two looking at?"
Chihaya Aine asked the two of them, puzzled.
Without waiting for a reply, she followed their gaze.
"Huh? This window?"
Chihaya Aine quickly noticed the mystery, and then spoke in an instructive tone.
"It's impolite to peep at others like that!"
Hakushu, feeling ashamed, retracted his gaze and apologized to Ootsuki in his heart.
Takamatsu Tou's cheeks were slightly flushed, and she lowered her head shyly.
"I'm sorry..."
"You don't need to apologize to me!"
"Then, then should we go in and apologize?"
Tou asked.
Hakushu and Chihaya Aine exchanged glances, both shaking their heads desperately.
However, curiosity got the better of her.
Chihaya Aine peeked through the glass window.
Just one glance, and Chihaya Aine's curiosity was completely unleashed.
She quickly understood why Hakushu and Tou were so engrossed.
"Huh?"
"What's going on?"
"Someone's at Karaoke... alone?"
Chihaya Aine leaned closer to the door, completely forgetting she had just lectured Hakushu and Tou!
Hakushu reached out a hand, opened his mouth, and then closed it.
Forget it, I'll be an accomplice!
As for the super popular Chihaya Aine.
She obviously found it strange that someone would come to Karaoke alone.
At this moment.
Ootsuki Yuyuko, sitting in the private room, had her brown pupils tremble.
She also noticed that there seemed to be several figures outside the door watching her.
Ootsuki Yuyuko turned around, looking a little flustered, picked up the microphone, and began to sing loudly.
She wasn't encountering this situation for the first time.
Usually, she would handle it like this – as long as no one saw her face, it would be fine.
Ootsuki Yuyuko, for the sake of her pride, didn't want anyone to know she was at Karaoke alone.
She'd been discovered!
Outside the door, three figures.
All of them, feeling guilty, took a step back, their expressions shifting with embarrassment.
"Let's get out of here!"
Hakushu immediately suggested.
"Hmm, hmm! Why is this door designed like this..."
Chihaya Aine said, feeling guilty.
Tou didn't say anything, but her footsteps didn't slow down either.
If there wasn't anything else on the agenda today...
Perhaps Hakushu, perhaps Chihaya Aine, might have chosen to knock on the door and get to know Ootsuki Yuyuko.
After taking two steps, Chihaya Aine suddenly stopped again.
Under the puzzled gazes of the two, Aine said with a sheepish grin,
"It's in the next room..."
