"It's all a myth, others considered it to be just a legend passed down though generations but I do believe it's not just a myth or a legend, I know based on a fact and archeological research that the temple is indeed somewhere in this mountain" Dan said, he had hunted for the temple for a long time and that has been one of his greatest work yet, he had just this one time to prove it really exist before his sponsors started dropping on him as he has yet to prove the existence of the temple nor the assasins in it.
"I have to find proof" he thought exploring the woods, beside him were armed mercenaries he had hired for the job of capturing and protecting him when it came to it.
Few minutes after exploring this vast forest on foot they noticed something was wrong, Dan had hired fifteen mercenaries but he could only count ten, where had the others gone, what was going on? Dan wondered getting surrounded by the mercenaries he had hired to protect him.
"Formation boys, I smell trouble" a huge guy with a cigar the size two men should smoke Said, he was the leader of the mercenaries, his name zico
"We're. Being attacked and we never realized it....., that really the situation we've been out in or are we overreacting a bit?"Dan wondered his eyes scanning around him for any little detail which could prove his theory of a forgotten civilization actually existed.
"Spread out, you know the drill, anything that breaths besides us gets exterminated" zico ordered, his team instantly spread out guns ahead awaiting anything hostile
"You do know if they actually existed, your petty crew would due in an instant and wouldn't have a chance to react right?" Dan asked concerned zico was signing his death wish but zico laughed puffing a large amount of smoke at Dan who coughed getting covered by it.
"My men and I got what it takes, just chill man...long as we get our cut., we cool, and I promise no one's laying their hands in ya" zico assured turning around to face the fiercest scene he had ever seen, his men were all dead, some decapitated, some torn in two while three fellows stood in front of him the wire a strange attire and wore a mask, different masks containing different designs and colors.
"Their all dead?....., but but how"zico thought, his rage burst Out of him like flames as he shot at the people infront of him but they somehow avoided every single bullet he shot at them, in one swift move he was on the floor, his head on the floor stareing at his body gasping for air.
"Deaths assasins...they do exist, I.....I found proof of it"Dan smiled happily, he had recorded everything on the device he had on his arm and was already on the run, he just had to make it out of the mountain alive and they wouldn't follow him out, no one knew much about them but Dan had studied about them all just life, they were feared by almost everyone during the era of domination before the fall of Nevada.
"Just have to keep moving" Dan smiled running into what felt as study as a tree but with flesh, he fell, dread could be seen all over his face as he stared at the people infront of him, the assassins, they had caught up with him, but how he wondered
"You can't kill me, I'm unarmed.....I can't defend myself, you believe killing an unarmed stains your honor, you can't kill me" Dan said he had just found a way to get away untouched, two assassins backed away, he was right after all but one stood still, the assassin with a red mask, having a red mask made you fierce Dan knew this but would he really stain his honor to by killing an unarmed man?. The assassin gave Dan his katana, then slowly pulled out a dagger from behind him.
"Now you're armed" he said

Dan fell dead his throat slit open, how... how... Is this the end for me?" Dan thought his consciousness fading away.

After a long travel they had finally arrived at the temple, outside the Temple was a talisman only the assassins knew about and the temples gate could only be opened and accessed using a specific hand seal performed by three individuals, once this was done the gates opened welcomeing the drax back into the temple.
"You two come with me...., we've gotta report what happened Earlier to the grandmasters" the drax on a red mask ordered (Name: ruke_ codename: shadow)
"Yh, lead the way" the female within the trio responded following ruke(Name:anila_codename:sting)
The third member of the trio said nothing, he only let out a sigh placed his arm on his head and walked along with them (Name:rann_Codename: lightening).
The temple was divided into three sectors, the first sectors where the rookies, the trainees were trained and raised to grow and nurture their Kai.
The second sector was a place for the trained drax, those who had accomplished missions and as proven themselves worthy of being drax assasins.
The third sector contained the tallest and biggest building in the temple, it contained the sanctum, the home of the grandmasters and the arena, a place where drax fight to the death as punishment, or a place to proof ones worth.
"We ask to meet with the grandmasters" ruke requested the sanctums gatekeeper night, having gotten his name from his secret technique night was the type of person you shouldn't face alone.
"You're at luck, the grandmasters had sent words that you meet them, they have something to tell you shadow.., sting and lightening too....." Night informed forcing the sanctums door open as the trio walked in he slammed the door shut.
"We've got news grandmasters...."ruke said on his knees as a gesture of respect to the grandmasters, sting and lightening did the same, they had only been to the sanctum twice but if the grandmasters wanted to speak with them this was really important.
"So do we Shadow, lay out your report, so we can move on"one grandmaster said
"As for what we want to tell you is important"another said
"Hurry it up boy" the third ended
They were one man but with a spilt soul, according to tales each drax grew up with, here were originally three grandmasters two brothers and their best friend. But something went wrong and the brothers had to be taken off the seat as grandmasrers, not wanting those seat to be empty, almod, the grandmasters of today spilt his soul and place them on the sut each having their own consciousness and freedom of speech.
"We found mercenaries approaching deeer into the forest this time, we think they might actually have a clue where the temples located"lightening informed ruke hadn't let any word escape his lips, he knew just why the grandmasters had asked to see him. They had already met him beforehand, even if he wanted to refuse their demands he couldn't, what could he do? He thought, he is expression now filled with dread no one had ever seen shadow look so scared what could make him this much afraid anila thought stareing at ruke, she then diverted her attention towards the grandmasters, judging by rukes reaction to their words she knew something wasn't Right, what was it exactly
"Dammit, not sure I can do it"ruke silently whispered to himself flashing back.

"You have proven yourself worthy, you have what it takes and you kai right now shows immerse strength in time it could rival that if the grandmasters" almod the second said
"But you first have to get rid of every emotion which holds you back....., you have recently show concern for your teammates shadow and that goes against the temples rules...., a deathmatch will be arranged, winner gets to be the doushin, losers die as it is supposed to be"almost the third said
"Although we already know the outcome to that, there is no drax who can best you in a fight not in the temple shadow, kill your teammates and prove yourself worthy to be a doushin, get rid of those emotions"they all yelled in unison

"A deathmatch has been prepared tonight to figure out the best candidate take on the title of doushin, let go of all emotions and fight to your heart's content"the grandmasters informed with a smile. This news has caught the both sting and lightening by surprise although they tried to compose themselves their reaction and facial expression betrayed them.
"Yes grandmaster"lightening replied being lightening, always trying to hide his fears but this time they were visible while sting could only stare at ruke, had he knew this was coming, was that why he gave out such a fearful expression earlier she thought. There was no escaping this, the grandmasters had already prepared the deathmatch, nothing could be done d now to stop it.
