"Tell me again why we had to come here immediately," Alexander complained for perhaps the tenth time that night.
Elion had insisted they collect the sword and armour right away, despite the fact that it was already well into the night.
"Well," Elion said casually as they walked through the dimly lit streets, "if the letter came this late at night, then it should be perfectly fine for us to visit this late too, no?"
Alexander grumbled under his breath.
'What kind of logic is that?'
"But still," he continued, "we could have simply waited until tomorrow."
"And the letter could've waited until tomorrow too," Elion replied instantly. "You also could've brought the letter to me tomorrow instead of tonight."
Alexander frowned slightly.
"…What?"
"Don't you see?" Elion continued dramatically. "This is fate."
He suddenly threw a fist toward the night sky.
"My sword is calling out to me!"
