Kasi leaned lazily against the wall of the old Namikaze house as the F4 — Hiruzen Sarutobi, Danzo Shimura, Koharu Utatane, and Homura Mitokado — along with the clan heads and advisors, arrived.
Most greeted him politely. Danzo's eyes narrowed.
"What is the meaning of this? Why are you flaring your chakra like that?"
Koharu and Homura nodded slightly, silently agreeing with Danzo. Hiruzen's face remained calm, but his lips twitched slightly.
Kasi gave a small, playful smirk.
"Oh… it seems I have more company than expected."
The room fell quiet. Kasi's calm gaze swept over the assembled group.
Finally, Hiruzen stepped forward.
"Kasi… enough. What is this about?"
Kasi's expression turned serious, his voice firm:
"First, tell me… what happened to the wealth my brother, my sister-in-law, and I left behind?"
Danzo's eyes flickered with annoyance.
"It was used in the reconstruction of the village," he replied, voice sharp.
Hiruzen muttered silently in his heart, Idiot… He knew Kasi's question wasn't idle.
Kasi's expression darkened. He fixed his gaze on Danzo.
He let the words hang in the air, then added, his voice edged with quiet fury:
"And I was… alive. In a coma, yes, but still alive. Yet here we are?"
Danzo's lips tightened. The assembled elders and clan heads shifted uncomfortably. Hiruzen's jaw clenched
Danzo said: "It's your privilege! You can be of use to the village if you want, but—"
Kasi's calm demeanor shattered. His chakra flared subtly. His voice, sharp and cold:
what did you just say? You gutter rat, serving the village? Our privilege? You haven't even done one percent of what my family has done for this village, and you still dare say this?"
He stepped forward, his gaze blazing at Danzo, voice rising with controlled fury:
"How… how come all the wealth that was used in reconstruction. From what I know about the village rules, it should have belonged to our heir, not the village. you say serving the village
Kasi's gaze swept over .
If you can treat the family of the Yondime like this, what about the rest of the villagers, the other ninja, and the clans?
From what I recall, the Uchiha clan was all but annihilated during my coma. Even their wealth and businesses… quietly transferred under your supervision."
He let the words hang in the air, cold but controlled. The elders shifted uncomfortably. Hiruzen's calm expression barely hid the tension in his eyes. Danzo's hands clenched at his sides, his face darkening. Even Koharu and Homura exchanged uneasy glances.Shikaku Nara was the first to break the silence. He stepped forward slightly, hands clasped behind his back, eyes sharp and calculating.
"If what you're implying is true," Shikaku said carefully, "then this goes far beyond reconstruction. Clan assets are protected under village law. Even the Hokage cannot simply absorb them into village fund."
Choza Akimichi frowned deeply, his massive arms folding across his chest.
If the Namikaze inheritance was taken without legal transfer… that's against the rules."
Inoichi Yamanaka adjusted his gloves, his expression grave.
"The Yamanaka maintain financial records for multiple departments," he said slowly. "If assets were reassigned, there should be documentation. I don't recall seeing anything involving the Namikaze estate."
Danzo scoffed. "You're all missing the point. Everything was done for the sake of the village—"
"No," Hiashi Hyūga cut in sharply, his Byakugan flaring for a brief moment before he restrained it. If the Yondaime's heir was alive, then his inheritance stands."
Shibi Aburame spoke next, his tone quiet but precise.
"Such actions create instability. If the village can take from the families without consequence, others will begin to question their own security."
Homura Mitokado exhaled slowly.
"…This is becoming difficult to justify."
Hiruzen finally stepped forward, his staff tapping lightly against the floor.
"Kasi," he said carefully, "you must understand—the years after the Nine-Tails attack were chaos. Decisions were made quickly. Some… perhaps too quickly."
Kasi's eyes locked onto him.
"And not once," he said quietly, "did anyone think to preserve what belonged to Minato's child."
The words struck harder than any shout.
Hiruzen's shoulders sagged just a fraction.
Danzo snarled. "Sentiment doesn't win wars!"
Shikaku's eyes hardened.
"Neither does corruption."
Several clan heads nodded slowly with the truth of the words.
Danzo looked around and realized, too late, that the room had shifted against him.
