"Congratulations! You're pregnant Ms. Lissio... " I was at the hospital for a check up I had to do, before I left for the states in just a few days for my further studies as an Architectural drafter, but I couldn't believe what the doctor just told me.
"What?? I'm pregnant"
I mean, I already had a test, a pregnancy test, three of them, but I wasn't sure and didn't trust those things. I opted for a blood test instead.
"You're pregnant Ariana and it's now been ten weeks" the doctor replied.
"How could this happen? Of all days, it has to be today on my birthday, and why does it have to be me.
Its been a year now, since my boyfriend Ashton and I started dating, but I've always made sure to use protection, we're still in college, he's my senior and I'm just a second year.
I've always dreamt of going abroad to study Architecture, and I had finally got the scholarship, but it's all gone now, how will I manage. I don't even know how Ashton will react when he finds out about it.
"Are you okay?" The doctor asked, bringing me our of my deep thoughts.
"Your phone's been ringing for a while now," she added.
It was Ashton calling, but I missed it. I've already missed six of his calls and five texts, asking me to call him back, he called again.
"Hello!" I faintly said.
"I finally get to hear your voice again, Dawn..." He replied from the other side of the line.
"How many times have I told you not to call me that" I said jokingly.
"I can't help it, you're as beautiful as the sunset to me my love" he replied.
This man, he never gets tired of making me smile.
"About our dinner, we still on?" He asked.
"Of course we are" I replied.
"And we really need to talk" my voice hinted sadness.
"I thought maybe, we should go to the hospital for some young parenting advice,"
What was he talking about! Did he already know... I'm pregnant.
"You know already?!" I asked surprised.
"Yes ,,, even though you didn't tell me," he replied.
" That's what I wanted us to talk about tonight and I thought you'd be upset if you found out" my voice was heavy and at the same time steady.
" I can never be upset with you Dawn, this is the best news you could ever give me, I'll finally start a family with the woman I love," he replied.
"Ari, I love you so much more than you can imagine" his words gave me hope and strength.
"I love you too " maybe, leaving wouldn't be the best choice.

I believe, I found out before she even did. I was suspicious but the pregnancy tests I saw at her place proved me right.
I really can't wait to have a child with her, hold it in my arms, teach him his first baby steps,watch him grow, teach him how to ride a bike, tell him how much I love him and his mother.
My mom's on her way from France, and I want her to join us tonight, so she can finally meet the woman I love, before I finally propose to her.
I picked out my best outfit, for tonight, not forgetting the ring box. It's the main reason I want to meet her, surprise her and make this birthday so special to her.
I had to leave as early as 5 o'clock if I wanted to reach hee favorite rose shop.
She really loved roses, blue ones...
and I can get them for her.
"There's still so much to do,I can't waste any more time"

Ashton had just got out of his apartment to the underground parking lot, where his car was parked but just before he could reach it, he was hit by a speeding black van.
The person driving it came out, dressed in all black, a cap and a mask. He wanted him dead, and was just about to shoot him in the head, but the security guards showed up and he escaped.
Ashton's head was bleeding severely but all he could say was Ariana's name while holding the ring box he was going to propose to her with.
He was rushed to the hospital but his condition was critical. His mother right from the airport received the news and went straight to the hospital to see her son. His operation was successful but he'd slipped into a comma.
That same night,the police had started their investigation and retrieved Ashton's belongings, including his phone and the ring box. His mother who already had hopes and dreams for her son to marry someone she chose,, was so disappointed and wouldn't allow that.
She went through his phone after using his thumb to unlock it and saw all the messages from Ariana, asking where he was, if he was still coming for the dinner, and messaged back.
"Stop bothering me!!"
It was a stormy night, rainy and cold, but Ariana didn't let that stop her from going to his house, only to find his mother there.
"So you're the woman my son is obsessing about, the one he chose over his family, I can't believe it!!" His mom said, as soon as she saw her.
"With all due respect ma'am, I love Ashton and he loves me... ." She was just about to tell her that she was pregnant,but she cut her off.
"Love, you?? Is this a joke? My son can't love such a cheap woman like you. He's just playing with you, he doesn't love you few months from now, he'll get married" she said, throwing wedding invitation cards at her.
"My son deserves so much better than you and you'll never see him again" she added.
" Please ma'am, let me atleast see him for one last time, please" she begged on her knees, but the mother didn't care one bit.
"Leave from here, and never come back!!" She shouted, throwing her outside in the rain.
"And take this with you" it was a lovely picture of her and Ashton together.
She walked slowly on the road, without an umbrella, without a jacket, holding the picture, crying her eyes out.
It was her birthday and they were supposed to celebrate it together. She didn't watch the road or where she was going, and by accident, a car hit her hard on her belly that she begun to bleed and the car drove away.
She was in pain, heartbroken, nobody was there to help her, but she got lucky and someone saved her, rushed her to the hospital but it was too late, she'd lost the baby...
