Malcolm Colt was not a normal man, at the age of 24 he was a agent of the secret global organizations shield. He was recruited by none other in agent Phil Coulson
Director Nick Fury's right hand man four years ago.
Colt was recruited due to his Eidetic memory and incredible physical skills. This was due to the fact that Malcolm Colt was actually a transmuted individual. Four years ago Malcolm woke up in a army barracks with his commanding officer asked him to report to his office. It was there that Malcolm met Phil Coulson and was soon recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D.
When Malcolm arrived in the MCU he immediately awoke his new life and past life memories combined. Memories of a hardworking office worker in England who died saving a young pregnant woman from a mugging but got stabbed in the process. After awaking in a cosmic void He had a conversation with the one above all who looked just like Stan Lee. He was given the opportunity to be reborn in the MCU as a background character with three gifts. The One Above All told Malcolm that he could make a new life for himself and whatever he did wouldn't make any major changes to the sacred timeline.
After a couple of moments to think Malcolm chooses his three gifts. One: a body with the original Dr. Abraham Erskine super soldier serum, Two: a perfect mind that had a IQ of 200 and a eidetic memory, Three: the mental abilities and combat experience, training and skills of the prime Batman.
With these gifts Malcolm breezed thought his military training and became one of the top tier operators.
Thanks to this he was soon in the eyes of Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D, and was soon meet Agent Coulson.
Over the last four years Malcolm went from new recruit to a top field agent. Malcolm held back on using his super soldier abilities and thanks to the One Above All he didn't need to concern himself with anyone using his blood to recreate the serum.
This performance let him hold the position of a reliable trustworthy and skilled agent that could be counted on to get the job done.
Six months ago Malcolm was appointed to the Helicarrier assigned to the bridge. Malcolm had also noticed that over the last couple of months he was being carefully watched. At first he was concerned that it was Hydra, but soon realised that he was actually evaluated for the AVENGERS initiative.
With his meta knowledge Malcolm knew that the Loki invasion would happen in eight months.
As Malcolm finished his shift he was approached by Coulson and given a folder and told it was his new assignment.
Opening the folder Malcolm was a little shocked but smiled as he looked at the picture of a very handsome sleeping man Steve Rogers. The assignment was to help the Captain reacclimate to the twenty first century.
So the hour Malcolm packed a bag and boarded a Quinjet and traveled to New York to meet Captain America.
