The sky split open.
Not with lightning—Not with thunder—But with color.
A kaleidoscope of seven radiant streams spiraled around Qi Shan Wei, forming a luminous vortex that distorted space itself. Every glimmer of light hummed with terrifying, uncontrollable power.
The Observer staggered backward.
"H-How—?! That's Prismatic Overdrive. But… incomplete… unstable…"
Shan Wei's feet sank half an inch into the stone beneath him.Not from weight—but from raw spiritual pressure erupting outward.
Xueya shielded the Empress with a barrier of moon-ice, eyes wide.
"Shan Wei… you're burning too fast!"
The Empress, still trembling on the ground, stared with dilated pupils.
"…You awakened it. Without training. Without guidance… You're insane."
Shan Wei exhaled once—and the world trembled.
1. The Abyssal Hunter Halts in Shock
The Abyssal Hunter, a Royal-level entity, frozen mid-step, stared at the seven-colored blaze unraveling around Shan Wei.
"…This is impossible."
His voice—which had never once broken composure—cracked.
"That form belongs only to—"
He stopped.
His eyes narrowed behind the golden mask.
"—no. It is unstable. Unrefined. Unworthy of the Emperor."
Shan Wei raised his eyes.
Golden-lightning pupils fractured into seven rings.
"You talk too much."
He moved.
2. Heavenstep Flash — Activated in Prismatic State
No footstep.No sound.Just absence.
One moment Shan Wei stood still. The next—
He appeared inches from the Abyssal Hunter's mask, fist clenched and wrapped in shifting prismatic radiance.
The Hunter's instincts screamed.
He barely parried, crossing his arms—
BOOOOOOM—!!!
The shockwave inverted the air.
The Hunter was hurled backward, smashing through three fractured spatial layers before stabilizing midair.
His arms trembled.
Smoke curled from his sleeves.
"…That blow… had seven layers. Seven temporal accents. What kind of monster—?!"
Shan Wei blurred again.
The Hunter roared, unleashing abyssal moonlight.
But—
Shan Wei's afterimage walked calmly through it.
Not dodging.Not resisting.
Ignoring.
The Observer gasped.
"He's using Void Pulse… combined with Overdrive. He's partially nullifying the damage!"
Xueya stared, heart pounding.
"So this is… the true potential hidden inside him…"
The Empress whispered weakly, tears forming.
"…This is why they fear you."
3. Jin Wei's Kingslayer Protocol — Second Evolution Triggered
While Shan Wei battled ahead—
Jin Wei's body glowed brighter.
Golden plates cracked open further, revealing internal gears spinning at blinding speed.
"KINGS LAYER PROTOCOL—SECOND EVOLUTION:PRISMATIC-CORE SYNC."
Xueya's jaw dropped.
"He's synchronizing… with Shan Wei's Overdrive?!"
The Observer backed away slowly.
"No mortal army… no sect… no empire… could ever stand against a puppet like that."
Jin Wei rose into the air, golden wings of pure energy forming behind him.
"TARGET: ABYSSAL ROYAL ENTITY.THREAT LEVEL: TERMINATE."
He vanished.
4. Abyssal Moon Authority — The Hunter's True Power
The Hunter finally shed his composure.
He slammed his hand into the air.
A black moon exploded into existence overhead—silent, heavy, suffocating.
The Empress screamed in pain as her bloodline was forcefully pulled.
"No—NO—don't let it—!"
The black moon pulsed, sending a tide of abyssal gravity crushing down on Shan Wei.
Space warped.Mountains cracked.The world bent.
Even Shan Wei staggered half a step.
The Hunter's voice echoed, reverberating through all living things:
"Moon Authority: Royal Eclipse."
Darkness smothered the prismatic light.
The Hunter descended, eyes glowing like twin golden knives.
"You cannot withstand a King's decree, Successor.Die beneath royal eclipse—"
But then—
A hand pierced through the darkness.
Shan Wei's.
Prismatic flames erupted from his arm, slicing apart the royal eclipse like cloth.
The Hunter's eyes widened.
"That— That's not possible!"
5. Prismatic–Nullification Fusion Strike (Prototype)
Shan Wei's aura surged—
Not cleaner. Not brighter. But wilder, unstable, like a star forcing itself into existence.
His voice was low.
"You threatened my people. You hurt the Empress. And you dared point your hand at Xueya."
The Hunter instinctively stepped back.
He had faced gods.He had fought ancient beasts.
But this—
This terrified him.
Shan Wei raised his hand.
Energy gathered—but not just prismatic light.
The Core inside him pulsed, weaving void-nullification into the prismatic matrix.
Seven colors folding into one—
A silver-white radiance tinged with absolute emptiness.
The Observer screamed:
"STOP! THAT TECHNIQUE IS NOT STABLE! YOU'LL DESTROY YOUR—"
Too late.
Shan Wei thrust his palm forward.
PRISMATIC–NULLIFICATION BLAST — PROTOTYPE
SHAAAAAAAAAAAA—BOOOOOOOOM!!!
The world exploded in silence.
Mountains disintegrated without sound.Air vanished.Darkness collapsed.Space blanked into pure white.
The Hunter took the attack head-on.
His royal armor shattered. His mask cracked in two.His chest burned with prismatic flame and void-pulse.
He flew backward, screaming—
"NO—THIS IS… IMPOSSIBLE! YOU— YOU ARE—"
He froze.
His eyes widened as he saw something—something he should never have recognized.
He whispered in horror:
"…You…You carry the mark of the Red Emperor…"
Shan Wei blinked.
"The who—?"
But before he could ask—
The Abyssal Hunter tore open a crack in space and fled, screaming in terror:
"HE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO EXIST AGAIN—THIS WORLD IS DOOMED—THE EMPEROR RETURNS—!!"
And he vanished.
6. Aftermath: The Light Fades
The prismatic halo around Shan Wei flickered.
The void-nullification shimmer collapsed.
He staggered.
His knees buckled.
Xueya sprinted forward with a cry.
"SHAN WEI!!"
She caught him just as he collapsed into her arms, unconscious.
His body trembled violently, smoke rising from his skin.
The Observer knelt beside him, voice shaking.
"He forced an Overdrive. With void resonance. And fused them imperfectly. He should be dead."
Xueya held him tighter, refusing to let go.
"He isn't.Because he's Shan Wei."
Behind them, the Empress wept into her hands.
"He saved me… again…But now the Abyssal Court will come. They will come with everyone…"
Her eyes lifted—
filled with terror, awe, and something deeper.
"Who… who are you really, Shan Wei…?"
The valley lay in ruins.Jin Wei landed silently beside them, reverting to guard mode.
Drakonix's cocoon trembled in the distance.
The Overdrive had triggered something inside it.
Something huge.
