Moon gently placed Selene on the bed and tucked her in under the blanket.
He straightened up carefully and turned toward the door.
Before he could walk away, he felt a small tug at his clothes.
Selene's fingers closed around the fabric of his shirt. Her face didn't change, she was clearly still asleep, but somehow, was able to feel him leaving.
Moon paused.
His eyes drifted down to her sleeping face and his mouth curved into a small smile.
He crouched beside the bed and gently peeled her fingers off his shirt, one at a time, delicately and patiently, trying hard to avoid waking her up. Her hand relaxed once he had freed the fabric. He tucked her arm back beneath the blanket.
He watched her sleep for a full minute before his phone buzzed in his pocket.
Moon pulled it out to find a message incoming from Tom.
'Come to the main lounge when you're up. Someone wants to meet you.'
