"Sierra said to come over tomorrow morning."
Tom's voice was casual as he leaned against the doorframe. His eyes drifted briefly to Selene, who was clearly trying to avoid making eye contact.
"She'll have breakfast waiting for you."
Moon nodded.
"Understood."
"I'm busy for the rest of the day. Meetings with the board. If you need anything from me, text. I'll get back to you between sessions."
"Alright."
Tom's gaze lingered on Selene for another half-second. His grin flickered at the corner of his mouth before he turned and left.
The door hissed shut behind him.
Selene visibly deflated with relief.
Moon turned toward her, drink still in hand before sighing, "Why do you look so suspicious?"
His mouth twitched.
