Without hesitation, it raised its bow and loosed at Moon, desperate to stop the heart from being used.

The Beast Soul snatched the heart from Moon's palm and swallowed it in one swift motion, eager to obey the command Moon had given it, the crimson organ vanishing down its throat.
The northern commander's face darkened, twisting into something between anger and dread. It began firing in earnest, arrow after arrow screaming toward the Beast Soul, trying to disperse the spirit before it could devour the heart and gain its benefits.
