Edwin and Azael clashed across the sky and ground, their sparring a blur of combos too fast for mortal eyes. Azael moved with elite precision, every strike calculated, every dodge effortless. Edwin, growing furious, couldn't land a clean blow.
He backed off, let out a piercing shriek and his aura erupted.
A purplish-black glow flared around him, lightning crackling from his demonized form. The ground beneath him cracked and trembled. Azael paused, eyes wide.
"Good," Azael said, smirking. "Now we can get serious."
His own aura ignited dark red and grey. A natural demon form. The air thickened with pressure.
They collided again, faster than light, each impact shattering the windows of buldings around them. Stone split. Steel bent. The city trembled beneath their fury.
Then—"Stop!"
The voice cut through the chaos like a blade. Both warriors froze mid-motion.Lucifer stood on the higher ground patio, watching." Azael," he said, "excellent work today."
Azael bowed. "It's my honor, Supreme."Lucifer turned to Edwin. "You are mortal… yet full of surprises. I'm honored to call you my protégé."Edwin dropped to one knee. "Thank you, supreme. I'll grow stronger for your noble cause."
Lucifer nodded. "Good. I have a request.""Anything, Lord," Edwin said, eyes burning with purpose."Go to New Babylon," Lucifer said coldly. "Kill anything that moves human or demon." Edwin rose. "It will be done." Lucifer turned to Azael. "You go to Perfect City. Eliminate everyone."
Azael nodded. "Supreme, Light may reside there… or in its ruins." Lucifer's gaze sharpened. "I know." Azael bowed. "Your wish is my command." Lucifer smiled cold, confident, cruel. "Good."
