"HEEEHH!!?" The reaction of Anna's old team was something else! It caused the nerdy girl to blush with embarrassment, as it was much wilder than she had ever imagined.
"H-How did that even happen!?" Sophie asked as she needed to process this information.
"You could say I was greedy and I could not pass up such an opportunity."
The girls' eyes widened as the only guy, the IT guy, whistled. He was surprised that such a nice girl could have such a greedy side.
"...W-What happened?" Hilda and other girls her age wanted the 'details'.
"...Well, after I finished the first colony, I wanted to visit Paris, so I asked the Prince, and he took me there. In Paris… I sorta…" Anna began to blush even more as her glasses needed cleaning.
"...Damn… you went to Paris… with Anaheim's leader!? Y-You are wild… Miss Anna." Hilda was awed by this girl's guts. Taking a nation's leader to an enemy's capital for a date and a steamy night? That's just… reckless!
"And what of Prince?" Sophie asked with crossed arms.
Anna showed around. The famous Royal Palace of Constantinople. Not only is the weather fantastic all year long.
"As you can see, he takes this far more seriously than I had hoped. In fact, I think I am the only one who takes this casually." Anna looked ashamed for a bit.
"I see… so you thought of a thirst, but he basically bagged that day in the most literal sense," Sophie recalled him kidnapping Anna.
He literally kidnapped and turned her into his future wife.
"...Yes, something like that." Anna bashfully smiled. This is embarrassing. It was indeed a thirsty night… nights!
"Regardless, since we ended up like this… what will you be doing here? Is it true that your Prince is working on the 3rd generation of Mobile suits?" Sophie asked him. Since she made a deal with Marcus, she needs to show progress so that he can keep his end of the deal.
"Yes. For a while now." Anna nodded at her question before expanding on it.
"It is 3rd generation. We had a scientific breakthrough on brainwaves and the mind in general… You might not believe this, but the mobile suit you saw in India that has a Halo and red energy wings…that machine utilises a completely different form of energy.
An energy that can interact with the brain and impact it at a fundamental level. It was the Prince who ordered the soldiers to kill themselves."
This…this information was wild! They didn't doubt Anna at all!
"...If this is true…"
"Yes, he can use the energy to awaken your husband, Sophie." The pinkette glasses girl smiled while saying that.
"...that is good news. Then I guess I need to throw myself into the work." The woman smiled a bit.
"Yes. For now, let me explain about mobile suits." Anna nodded as she looked at the tablet a bit of distance away.
"Let me help!" Hilda noticed where Anna was looking, and she swiftly dashed over and picked up her work tablet.
"Thank you." The pinkette thanked the girl, who then got comfortable in the seat and went through the tablet's functions.
"Let me explain two previous generations." She showed them the first model.
"Unlike Britannian Knightmares, where technology dictates generations. In Anaheim, the Fusion Reactor does.
The first Mobile Suit ever build was KK-00 Lugh. It was the first ever mobile suit to function and, arguably, the most powerful in the raw power category, as it doesn't have limiters or power balancers. That means that Fusion Reactor could generate power without limit and make this machine fight until it breaks apart or blows up."
"...So… what is this… fusion reactor?" Sophie asked as she wanted to understand what a 'reactor' was. This is never-before-seen technology.
"It is where a fusion of atoms happens, and the heat of such actions powers the mobile suit."
"...You mean… such a thing… isn't it like people proposed about our… sun? You mean—" the Brain scientist realised what is going on!
"Yes. The 3rd generation… There will be literal suns inside these machines. In theory, they will run for thousands of years until Helium-3 filler needs to be refilled." Anna explained about the new machines.
"Oh God… no wonder Gene Smilas defected… this is madness! With such output alone. Knightmares are nothing but a nuisance." Sophie realised that opposing Anaheim is literal madness.
The assistants looked worried when they heard all of this. They haven't seen the mature lady act like this before.
"That is why I request your 'transfer' to Anaheim. I knew there was no chance for the EU to survive. I prefer that you guys are here and safe." Anna smiled while saying that.
"Oh, Boss! You are amazing!" Hilda was about to hug Anna, but then she stopped midway.
"It's okay… I am only pregnant for a few short weeks. No actual changes…yet." The pinkette explained in a happy tone.
"R-Right."

"So you knocked up a scientist… seriously?" C.C. said to Marcus as she decided to invade his new workshop.
"Is that why you crossed half of the planet for?" The Prince replied while massaging his forehead. Now he will need to listen to the jealous witch commenting about his bed activities.
"No. You left me in your old base again." C.C. ended up lying on a comfortable couch. She looked at the ceiling of the Palace. Such a place gives her nostalgia.
"Is that so? You never join any of my adventures, so it's not my fault." He replied to her as he watched the drills being assembled for the South Pole.
The designs went through several tests in space before they decided on a model.
Now they can drill and melt the ice below the City at the South Pole.
"I did join your South Pole trip." She reminded him about that.
"But more importantly, why did you knock up that girl?" The Witch returned to the previous question.
"Are you THAT interested in that? Quite jealous, are you?" Marcus sighed as he approved the orders for the drill creation and delivery to the research base at the South Pole.
Once the orders were done, he dismissed the hologram and looked at her.
"...N-Not jealous! Just curious…that is all!" The Witch got self-conscious all of a sudden. Didn't expect him to just go on offence on her!
"Heeh. I don't think so. I think it's pretty normal for a harem, no? You lived long enough. You have seen Harems, I am sure of that. My old man still has one." Marcus explained to C.C. as if she were a clueless little girl.
"...I…Ugh!!! Whatever! Doesn't matter!" C.C. all of a sudden lost interest as she looked away.
Marcus chuckled as he decided to tease her a bit.
"Remember what I said a while back?" He showed her a scheming look as he reminded her of their previous talk.
"...What?"
"I know that the energy in your body is keeping you eternally young; your body is in a permanent frozen state. To make you age once more and FEEL alive, you need to control your energy flow."
"..."
"You still don't get it?" Marcus asked with an amused tone.
"...What?"
"You think I don't know that your body's functions are frozen?" He pointed out her sore spot.
"..." There was a reaction from her.
"See? You think you can hide things from me." He shook his head.
"I could make you age once more, and at the same time, you could function as a human."
***Gulp***
There was an even bigger reaction from the witch.
"Oh? Are you interested?" He asked.
"...What do you want me to do?" She asked, slowly getting up from the seat, her eyes hardened.
"I will create a battery-like device that you can fill up with the excess energy your Code generates. This could technically allow your body to function once more.
However, I am not 100% certain. This is just theory on my part."
C.C. smiled a bit when she heard that.
"It's still better than anything I have heard to date." The green-haired witch replied in an honest tone.
"Good, we can do that while you practise mastering the flow of energy. If you can master it, you will have natural flow and switch between Geass and your Code." Marcus reminded her about their initial training.
"I did practise, as you said, and I did feel something." She looked at her hand before looking at him.
"But then you created that machine." C.C. had a complex look.
"I have seen what it can do. It was like I had worried. A machine that can dominate human life." She said with a deep frown.
"Ecne is a masterpiece, and I already have a blueprint for a superior machine," Marcus said as his fingers interwined while he placed his chin on the back of his hands.
He looked like a scheming villain.
"...You are crazy. To unleash something on the human population." C.C. shook her head.
"And here I thought you were a witch," Marcus said with a dissapointed tone.
"I am a bit sane, even after all these years." She frowned at him.
"And yet you don't understand the true power of Geass." He shook his head as he was dissapointed. That is why he loves Leila and Anna, and of course Nina, but that nerdy green-haired girl is a bit too zealous.
"Geass is energy that interacts with people's brainwaves. That means that we can make humans evolve and reach the next stage of evolution.
My father, according to you, wants to kill god because he wants a world without lies. What he desires is the extreme of what I want.
I want psychic powers. When everyone is psychic, we can understand each other without even talking. Do you understand what I mean?" He explained to her.
"Ecne already scanned several million people's brainwaves with its Geass system, allowing a successor model to be in development.
Once it's completed, it could stimulate people's minds. If it works, people could technically have a chance to evolve to the next stage of humanity." He explained to her what he was doing.
"...Assuming that is what people want." She frowned at him.
"It doesn't matter what people want or don't. It is going to happen either way. This step is necessary in the future.
Space is a very big place; people could end up fighting once more. Though intern planetary conflicts could make Earth's conflicts look pathetic." He explained himself.
"...So it's a safety net." She concluded.
"Among other things that I could make to keep myself in power forever." He shrugged at her response.
"Now is the question if you want to try the next experiment, and we could find out if I can make a Geass energy battery." Marcus chuckled, imagining having something like a battery of this thing.
In theory, he could manifest Geass by himself if he had enough energy.
"Then let's go. Let's see if your crazy ideas are worth it," she smiled a bit before motioning to get up.
"Fine. Let's see if this can be made."
Marcus shook his head as he summoned another hologram and went through ordering sequences. He only recently drew a concept of this battery.
Simply put, Geass energy is a form of electricity that affects brainwaves, which are electrical pulses.
So a form of liquid sakuratite and lithium mix could be applied to store it based on his Geass system.
It would look like a big battery reader.
Since the new assembly lines are still working, he decided to return to Solomon Base for this test, where he has enough resources for some of his tests.
"Let's go and take my Tiranis for a spin." He suggested to the Witch as they left the Royal Palace and boarded the transporter plane to the Carrier ship.
"Sure, it has been a while." The green-haired girl doesn't mind. It had been ages since she was close to him.
It made her a bit annoyed that he didn't cuddle her! She is going to use it to her advantage!
