Chapter 1 – "The Night I Died"
The moon was bleeding.That was the first thing Selene noticed before the blade slipped between her ribs.
Her white wedding dress shimmered crimson under the moonlight, and as she fell to her knees, the golden-haired prince whispered in her ear — the same man she had loved since childhood.
"You should have never been chosen by the moon."
His voice was cold, like the steel that ended her life.
But when she opened her eyes again, she was not dead. She was standing in her old bedroom, seven years before that night — her heart pounding, her hand trembling as a silvery mark began to glow on her chest.
"The Moon has given me another chance," she whispered."This time… I'll burn them all."
