Mei let out a little "Uuu," staring up at the dark green ceiling.
"Why are we talking about work when we're on a trip? So unromantic."
Otis asked,
"Then what should we talk about?"
Mei thought for a moment.
"Mm… let's talk about work anyway. Let's do a little interview. Mr. Otis, you've been working for over three months now, how does it feel?"
Otis thought for a while.
"Mm, even though earning your own money is really great, sometimes work really is exhausting."
Mei felt the same. Getting paid was fun, but all the other days of the month existed just for that one payday.
"So do you think working is more tiring, or going to school is more tiring?"
Otis considered it.
"Aren't they both equally exhausting?"
