Chapter 47 - Chapter 47:

Hearing those filthy words, I frowned. Even if I really were dirty, I'd still be better than someone like Liona who spent all her time trying to hook men.

I narrowed my eyes, a mocking smile tugging at my lips as I answered, "Even if I'm not worthy, so what? Right now, that land is in my hands. It belongs to me. You only have two choices. One, you delete the post yourself and publicly clarify the truth, then I might consider returning the land to you. Two, I'll bring this matter to the Anderson family… and I think you know very well what President Anderson is like."

The moment she heard the second half, Liona's whole body began to tremble uncontrollably. President Anderson held terrifying power, wiping people out like weeds. If he found out about all the sneaky things she'd done behind his back, it wouldn't just be her—her entire Robbery family would be in danger.

That was why, in the post, she had only dared to mention that I was a kept woman, but hadn't dared to reveal President Anderson's identity at all. Once he was exposed, things would spiral out of control. She had only wanted to bully me a little to vent her resentment. She never expected that a girl who looked weak and easy to push around like me would turn out to be a rock you couldn't crack.

She had been so smug at first, and in the very next moment, she'd been caught and threatened.

Liona shot me an unwilling glare, but the arrogance in her had clearly been reduced. "Only two choices?"

"Number one or number two—pick one." I lifted my chin, my aura sharp.

"I'll pick the first." Her expression was full of despair. Only an idiot would choose the second option.

I quietly let out a breath, but I still didn't take my eyes off her. "Then you can post your explanation right now. If nothing else happens in the next few days, I'll give the land back to you."

The wind on the rooftop was getting stronger. At first, Liona had still been reluctant, but just thinking about Captian's cold expression made her shiver, her face going pale.

"Fine, I'll post now."

She unlocked her phone, then hesitated and asked quietly, "Can you promise not to tell President Anderson anything about this?"

I almost laughed. Now she knew how to be afraid?

I folded my arms across my chest, speaking calmly. "Relax, President Anderson doesn't know anything yet. But you'd better clean this up before he finds out. If he learns about it… I don't need to spell out the consequences for you."

Hearing that, Liona's face went ashen. Her fingers trembled as she opened the school forum.

But in just a few seconds, her eyes widened, her lips opening and closing soundlessly, her whole body shaking like a fish tossed onto dry land, gasping for air. She clutched her phone like it was the only thing keeping her from collapsing.

Seeing her expression, I had a bad feeling—like she'd just seen something terrifying.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked.

"The forum…" Liona's lips trembled. She only managed to squeeze out two words before going silent.

Impatience flared in me. I snatched the phone straight out of her hand.

The moment I saw the newest posts, I froze, my brows knitting together. I didn't say anything—but the forum content kept spreading like wildfire anyway.

"Oh my God, look what I just found! Isn't the man in that Rolls-Royce President Anderson?"

"Don't scare me, upstairs. How could President Anderson show up at our school gate? A big shot like him must be insanely busy."

"I don't think it's that strange if he appears here. You don't know? President Anderson graduated from our Hathaway University. Him coming back to visit his alma mater isn't that shocking."

"Visiting the school is fine, I have no problem with that. The problem is—Rosy walked out of that car!!"

"Rosy and President Anderson are having an affair!"

"Affair +1."

"+2."

"This is a picture of President Anderson at a public event. Now let's look at the man in the Rolls-Royce. I've marked the identical points in red."

A few more photos were posted. On the photo of the Rolls-Royce, several parts had been circled in red.

"Everyone, look at this. The build of the man in the car is almost identical to President Anderson's build. Both of them are wearing watches—the model is the same, and even the placement of the diamonds on the watch is exactly the same. I can confirm that this watch is unique, a one-of-a-kind piece. There is no second one. So the conclusion is: the man in the Rolls-Royce is President Anderson!"

Most of the readers were just passersby who loved to spectate, but now they weren't only watching—they were analyzing, comparing images, digging out "evidence." With so many people picking apart the photos, it was as if they had developed fiery, all-seeing eyes. Just by looking, they could spot hidden clues.

"This is definitely President Anderson, no doubt about it."

"No doubt +1."

"But I'm really curious, why did Rosy get out of President Anderson's car? I've never heard anything about him having a kid sister…"

"Hey, I'm guessing here, but… what if Rosy is being kept by President Anderson?"

The moment that comment appeared, it shot to the top.

"Rosy is so lucky being kept by President Anderson… If I could spend just one night with him, I'd die happy."

"The one upstairs is definitely a hardcore simp. Diagnosis complete."

"Let me whisper something too, I wouldn't mind being kept by President Anderson either…"

In just a short time, almost half the girls on the forum were openly jealous of me, while plenty of others condemned my "shamelessness," saying I had hands and feet but didn't want to do anything useful, only wanted to be a mistress. With a ruthless man like President Anderson, they were convinced I'd be finished sooner or later and were just waiting to watch the show.

Suddenly, a new comment dropped in like it had fallen from the sky and immediately drew everyone's attention.

"I don't think there's any point in us guessing back and forth. I'll just tag President Anderson's Facebook and ask him. Then we'll know the truth."

"Are you crazy, upstairs? Are you tired of living? Don't do something that stupid."

But after a while without any further reply from that user, it was obvious they had really gone over to his Facebook.

Reading through all those comments, my heartbeat sped up, my eyelids twitching nonstop.

"Liona, are you stupid? You didn't even bother to blur President Anderson's face a little?"

Liona's lips turned an ugly pale color, her whole body trembling like she might collapse at any second. "I… I thought… I thought they wouldn't be able to figure anything out…"

I was so furious I almost hurled the phone into her face.

"People online now all have eyes like scanners. They're sharper than ever, and you even uploaded HD photos. It would be strange if they couldn't figure it out."
