To the average person visiting it would be a fairy tale.
Its walls are huge and majestic. It's a blue color shining under moonlight.
But inside of this beautiful castle, one room is dark, all lights turned off by a 14 year old boy.
He is seated on the soft luxurious king size bed hiding under a blanket in darkness which feels safe and warm to him.
where Eli goes…., he thought and yawned. He is feeling sleepy now. It's quiet while he is waiting for his sister.
In another room.
Eliza, his older sister. Talking to her father the duke. her eyes filled with anger, her voice becoming louder and louder until….
"Don't raise your voice front of me.'' the duke cutted her words. " Don't forget whom you're talking with"
Eliza turned silent, completely aware of her position, she is powerless right now.
She knows she can't make him do what she wants as she is weaker than him by states or maybe by powers too. But it's not going to be this way for long.
She glared at Duke's back as he walked out of the room ignoring her.
"Tsk!.'' She clicked her tongue and thought. Fine bastard, it looks like you want to die even sooner.
She always hated her father but today her haterates depended many times.
Eliza walked to her brother's room with a heavy heart and steps.
Entering his room. She saw him covered in a blanket hiding from the world.
"L-Loid'' she called her voice shaky, her eyes turned a little teary.
Loid removed the blanket and gazed at her. To him Eliza looks as if she is crying.
''what happened Eli ..'' he said with his sweet voice as his eyes became wet.
she rubbed her eyes. taking a long breaths calming herself , she walked to him and hugged him, Loid wrapped his arms back at her. She held him for minutes. Then spoke. ''are you sure Loid you don't want new family.''
Loid already knows this is a duke's castle and he didn't want him to stay here and for some reason his sister can't come with him to live somewhere else.
He had given an option that a new family would adopt him but he already rejected it. He doesn't want to live with strangers. Better to be alone than living with unknown people.
'' Absolutely, I can live by myself, I'm old enough already''. he said with confidence.
Eliza thought something and said. '' Alright, if that's what you want. But promise me you will take good care of yourself…"
''I promise ''.
she smiled a little before speaking again. ''I know you don't like to go to school you don't have to anymore, but you will read books, form a library in your new home, and would not search any book out of that library until you are sixteen or seventeen. and if you awakened before you turned 18 you will be attending a Hida academy…"
Loid nodded at all her instructions.
Eli gently caressed his head. "Also do not eat too much ice cream.''
''f-fine.'' Loid said, yawning.
but she didn't take this as an answer. She cupped his cheeks with one hand, making him look into her eyes. ''Promise me Loid, a real promise.''
''ahh'' he groaned in helplessness. ''hump. '' then pouting he said . ''Fine, I promise. I will do as you said.''
''Good, boy— tomorrow I will take you to your new house. Now let's sleep.''
They sleep peacefully embracing each other tightly.

It's been years since, Loid started living alone, and last met his sister. She took care of everything, his home, money, bank accounts, even though he was minor he could order anything he wanted.
The house is a simple two story house, nothing compared to a castle, but still very big for him to live alone.
He had pitch black hairs and blue eyes, now he has grown up to be a handsome young man, well not really. He looks like a weak pretty boy just too pretty.
Wearing a big oversize full arms T-shirt , making him look thinner. doesn't matter how much he eats . He can't gain weight, he doesn't know it's a curse or blessing.
Though he does exercise everyday, but without any fixed time, sometime morning or evening or afternoon, well nothing is fixed but he makes sure to do it every day. He workout according to his mood minimum 15 mins to highest two and half an hour.
Right now, in the living room he's sitting on the big couch, book in his hand, large ice cream cup next to him .
His focus is more on an ice cream, then a novel he is reading.
Ice cream is expensive and delicious, as the spoon goes to his mouth it's malted with a sweet taste.
He doesn't have to worry about money, his sister gave him a lot. but he missed her and she rarely picked his calls. and only called him once or twice a month. Whenever he asked about it, she said she was busy with something very important and always instructed him to take care of himself until she met him. and when she's gonna meet him he doesn't have any idea.
He looked at the time, it's 6.am, early in the morning. He has been awake since 3 am, not like he set an alarm or anything, he just woke up so he left the bed, and started reading after freshening up.
He drops the book on the couch and walks to the fridge taking the ice cream cup with him.
Today is my 18th birthday. I still haven't discovered any power within me, sigh, I guess I am staying unawaken. He thought. Well, I did a good thing not to apply for the academy.
Today was the last day. Now if anyone wants to attend the academy, they have to wait for next year. Maybe he will become an awakener this year.
Now he is going to spend one more year at home and he loves it. Staying home is the best.
Also he already forgot about the duke kicking him out from the castle, well in the first place he was adopted by the duchess— after Loid's adopted mother's death, the duke kicked him out.
After placing half finished ice-cream in the fridge, he wore a hoodie on his oversized t-shirt, then joggers and moved toward the exit of the house
