The carriage rode in total silence, the humming rhythm of the wheel was the only sound which could be heard on the lonely path , the rocky road of the west was what made it difficult to get visitors , but hey ! she's no visitor , this is her home and she's back to oversee the progress of it , with or without her brother's approval .
Shorty, she saw what looks like a signboard with Bledri boldly written on it . Ever since the fight between the wolves , the elves and the witches ten years ago , every creature has found a way to mark their territory, some use rocks which they will write the name of their land , others uses a tree truck just like them , it has become a common thing just to avoid and obviously warn trespasser .
looking at the words ' western Bledri ' which was written in the seven common languages , Glorious couldn't help but sign deeply . The moment the carriage drew closer to the signboard , the smile on her face dropped , her heart skipped a bit but she being who she is calmed herself down , she has seen and have been through worst things . Finally the carriage drove in and the illusion dropped , the illusion of a deserted westland with no life become one that was so full of life , people going about their daily actives not caring about the world outside , watching the people from the carriage , she wondered what would have happened had her brother not showed up during the war ten years ago ?,what if he had stayed dead ? would they have been a slave to the elves or witches or maybe the vampires * sign* .
Bledri , home of the wolf ruler , the alpha supreme , and unfortunately her elder brother who sent her out of the kingdom ten years ago into hiding . She wonder how he might be doing , he will go nuts when he sees her back in the kingdom . The coachman redirected the rein of the horse towards the left , the animal humbly obeyed after it let out a neigh .
As the carriage approaches the Alpha's domain , her heart picked up it pace again , this time around it beats faster than before , she sighted the castle from a distance , was she having a panic attack ? no that's for humans but whatsoever reason why her heart wasn't stable must be because she could clearly remember her brothers expression the day she left .
" the Reconians are here " Zolan said as she pictured him standing right outside her room door waiting for her to come out , she poked her head half dressed .
" is it really time ? " she asked feeling dejected .
" i told you that am coming with you , i don't trust those recons and i don't think i will be excited knowing that you went there all by yourself " Zolan said , he lean on the wall with his hand folded under his chest .
" thank you Zolan , i do no know what to do without you "
" that's not a problem my lady just get dress " with a new found hope she shut the door , few seconds later she was out fully dressed in an Oliver coloured grown , the seamstress who sewed the dress must be an expert , the v neck line was adored with sliver coloured stones , the dress was fitted but when it came to the keen , it was let lose , she wore a wolf fur cloak which has a wolf siege at the back , her hair was let lose like a feather been carried by the wild wind .
" wow ! you look beautiful " Zolan commented , she flashed him a slime .
" this is also one of the reasons why am going with you " she raised her brows at him .
" to make sure no male harasses you " the only thing she could do was give him that charming smile .
Together both walked towards the courtroom where her brother was sited among other men , Damian was standing right behind him looking sternly strict and dangerous , the other men who she now know as his Gamma , Delta and Omega , how Damian became her brother's Beta is till something she can't comprehend .
" She's never to step foot on Bledri ever again "
wait ,what ?
" What ? i thought i was only there just for things to die down " she said but her brother ignored her , he stood up, nod at the Recons who were standing quietly , one of them returned his nod and before she could understand what was going on her brother was already making his way out of the room . No , he will not leave until he explain what is going on here , she ran after him while calling his name , he didn't even turn to look at her neither did he stop , one of the Recons decided to block her way .
" we need to leave princess , Reconains are not known for night travel " when she insisted , he wanted to grab her arm but Zolan knocked him off .
" never touch the princess again " came his warning , the Recon was about to retaliate when the voice of Damian stopped him from doing so .
" enough " came his cold stern voice .
" Zolan ? "
" Beta supreme " Zolan answered with a bow .
" take the princess to the awaiting carriage , follow her to Recon and guard her with your life "
" i ready plan on doing that Beta supreme " Zolan replied , Damian made to leave with his hands behind him , he walked past everyone towards the door , he was closely followed by the other three , seeing Damian leave she thought maybe she could talk some sense into him , so that he can help her talk to her brother , she gently reached out to hold him , but he side stepped and the stare he gave her was one of horror . She just don't believe what's going on , ever since they came back from that battlefield they have all been avoiding her touch , ranging from her brother Luther the Alpha to Lucian the Omega , something is not right , she knows it . She watched them leave , leaving her with Zolan and the five Reconains , three male and two female . Taking a deep breath she slowly made her way outside closely followed by Zolan and then the Recons.
The carriage outside was well design, one fitted for a princess , it was golden in colour and the white horses were also dressed in gold. One of the Recon opened the carriage door waiting for her to step in , she turned around , took a second look at the castle , the faces of all the wolf warriors present and then Zolan who was holding the remains of her belongings . The rest will be sent later she's sure of that , but one thing she wasn't sure of back then was why he wanted her to leave , why she couldn't touch him or any of the men with him , why his hair colour and that of Damian change including their eye colour , how Damian was able to be a cold hearted fearsome fighter , how he became her brothers Beta , she has a lot of things on her mind back then and that's why she's back , to unravel those unsolved mysteries about them and she will stop at nothing to get the information she needs .
" we are here my lady " Zolan's voice brought her back to reality , she opened her eyes to behold the massive castle of the Alpha's domain , Her home .
