It earned a round of loud cheers and applause from the excited crowd, fueling the energy and anticipation in the room.
In the middle of the hall, there was only one table left remaining. The grand finals table. It was painted a deep shade of mahogany, with intricate carvings of dragons adorning the edges.
Some locals—men and women—were carrying bags with drinks and snacks, which they were selling to the people watching the matches.
Thus, there were plenty of drunken spectators, but there was also the Sun Festival still going on, so there weren't that many sober people around.
"And now… Let's welcome our grand finalists!"
Lady Diana shouted.
Somehow, her voice was booming as if she were speaking right into the microphone.
