At the sins waiting room there is an uneasy silence as everyone stares at the pentagram left by Asmodeus as she left. "That disobedient whore." Lucifer snaps as he punches a wall before walking towards the Arena entrance.
Down in the arena there's already a large crowd awaiting the final duel and much to their joy, the first fighter arrives. He's a tall skinny man around 6'7 and lanky. He wears a suit of bright white as he walks to the centre of the arena. He's met with a teenager who's average height, has a small muscular frame, and an almost demonic grin on his face. "They give me a child to fight?" Lucifer says as he looks down at his opponent, Toon.
"THE FINAL MATCH IS A DOOZY WE'VE GOT TWO POWERHOUSES READY TO DUEL. FOR THE SINS WE HAVE THE UNWAVERING PRIDE, LUCIFER. AND FOR THE SANCTUARY WE HAVE THE UNBEATABLE TEEN, TOON" The announcer bellows as he addresses the audience before turning to the fighters. "YOU MAY DUEL"
"I hear you got so prideful that you hid corrupt in businesses just to make them fail, you ruined heroes images to prove a point, but corruption has always been a thing. The one thing thats fairly recent is the murder of heroes. Thats a line your pride failed to cross." Toon says as he stares through Lucifers pearlescent eyes with an emotionless blank stare. "Everyone has time to break their own rules sir." Lucifer replies as the features of his face melt into his head leaving a blank canvas of skin.
THUD.
Lucifer punches Toon in the face yet Toon just stands there as his face molds around the fist leaving a dent shaped like his fist in the centre of Toons face as he pulls his hand back. "Dear god my face is dented I'll never get a partner now. I'm a freak." Toon says sarcastically as he still stands unwavering. He pulls on his cheek and his face inflates to its normal form "You might as well hit me with your biggest attack before I render you unable to fight because you can't hurt me can you."
Down in the labs the room has been evacuated with only Robotica, Frankenstine, Titana and Cam in there all hard at work assembling mech suits and drones. There are already 8 drones and 3 mech suits completed yet the continue their work. "Sssso it wassss him and now we're all fucked unlessss we can beat him." Titana says as he hands Robotica a mechanical arm. "Sadly yes that is our current situation." Robotica says without looking away from his work. Frankenstine throws Titana a blueprint and Titana silently slithers over to a workstation to get the job done. Little do they know the arena situation is about to get dire.
Back up in the arena Lucifer starts to molt his skin as 4 large exo skeletal limbs stab out of his back as his lower body grows out into that of a massive spider compatible to Aaragog from the Harry Potter books but instead of a spiders head he has his normal torso. "Holy shit you're a big spider." Toon say as he looks up. "I'm the pinnacle of all life. Nothing shall surpass me. I am always correct. I always win." Lucifer replies as he stabs a large leg at Toon which he easily dodges by pulling his body like a slingshot and flinging it at his limb. The spider leg snaps off and flies away but is only met with a slash to the face by another limb. Toon stands unfazed and walks up the limb to Lucifers main body.
"You're a prideful one aren't you." Toon says as he grabs Lucifers hair and pulls at it before saying "you may be the leader of the sins but you are nothing compared to a god in human form so listen up and surrender before I render you brain dead or an awakened being."
Lucifer slowly morphs back to his normal human form and raises his hands in surrender before walking away.
"WITH THAT SHOCKING TURN OF EVENTS THE WINNER OF THE FINAL MATCH IS TOON. THIS MAKES THE SCORE 4:2 IN THE SANCTUARIES FAVOR. THE WINNERS ARE THE SANCTUARY." The announcers voice echoes through the crowd to a load, booming round of applause. The two teams meet in the middle of the arena minus the part of the Sanctuary team in the lab. "We won so now we get to set a rule for your team that you have to follow until we release you from it." Marrow says through his skull mask. "We know the rules now name your price." Lucifer replies in rage. "All sins have to do whatever a member of the immortals says no matter what. You are under our control now." Marrow says as he turns to walk away.
Back in the lab the team there are still working when the doors open and two figures walk in. "This area is off limits right now." Frankenstine says as she looks up to see Levy and Lucifer. "Yeah well we lost so now we need to help you guys with this before he gets here and kills you all." Levy say sassily as she grabs a blue print before morphing into the form of Robotica and getting to work. There are now a sea of close to 50 drones and still just 3 mech suits. "Alright Levy you're on cat drones and Lucifer you're on spider drones. Get to work." Robotica says as he finally looks up and holds up a single vial with fluxating light within it. The team now continues building like their lives depend on it whilst everyone slowly works on moving people to the bunkers in hopes of saving them from whats to come.
