'This is pointless,' he thought, crimson eyes scanning the featureless black. 'I can't fight something I can't see. And I can't chase something that keeps teleporting me around like a game piece.'
He needed mobility. Something faster than Mirage Cascade. Something that could counter the darkness's spatial manipulation.
