Ciko Joun awoke inside a castle.
He was sitting on The Zero's throne and was warmly greeted by Dontur.
"Welcome back, Master."
Ciko Joun stared at the floor. Now he understood something important:
Every time he lost consciousness, he would transfer into The Zero's body—
for example, whenever Ciko Joun slept.
"Hey Dontur, I want to ask you something."
"Of course, my Lord."
"How can I gain power when I'm just an ordinary human?"
Ciko Joun asked seriously.
"Very well, my Lord. I will explain everything clearly," Dontur replied respectfully.
Dontur grabbed a chalkboard and began writing rapidly, so fast that chalk dust flew everywhere.
He wrote:
Madness.
A person becomes stronger by undergoing evolution.
Evolution requires Madness Points.
Madness Points are obtained after performing an Action that matches one's chosen path.
Madness Levels:
10 = lowest level
0 = highest level
Dontur put the chalk down.
"That is how the system works, my Lord."
Suddenly, the world began spinning.
Ciko's head throbbed just like before.
"Ma**…?" Dontur's voice faded completely from Ciko's ears.

Ciko Joun returned to his original body, lying in his room.
Ann was sitting on the bed next to him.
"WAKE UP, IDIOT!"
THUD!
Ann's fist landed on Ciko Joun's stomach.
"Ugh—hey! Take it easy!"
"It's your own fault for being so hard to wake up," Ann replied with a satisfied grin.
