"Dude, did you see that?!"
Jonas was the first to break the silence after the big scene.
His ball rolled long forgotten across the courtyard, bounced against the fence, came to a clattering stop—but he was grinning from ear to ear.
"So well deserved! Vanessa looked like someone had just ripped the crown off her head!"
Fiona punched her fist against her palm, her eyes sparkling.
"Finally someone said what we've all been thinking. I would've loved to kick her in the soft spots myself. But this was almost better."
Mira stood slightly apart, the camera hanging loosely around her neck, the wind playing with a strand of her hair.
"It was... intense," she finally said, quietly. "Everyone heard it. She won't forget that anytime soon."
I stood in the middle of it all—and yet it felt like I was just a spectator in my own movie.
My heart was still racing, my body vibrating, as if refusing to grasp that everything was over.
"Lina?" Fiona put her hand on my shoulder.
"Are you okay?"
