Outside Sun City, a massive army had already gathered.
On the ground, four square formations of Hyperspace demons, belonging to Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle, and slaanesh, stood ready, facing the defenders on the outer walls of Sun City, poised to launch a fierce assault at any moment.
Among the four army formations:
There was the Khorne Legion, composed of Bloodletters wielding Hellblades, and Flesh Hounds that, once they caught the scent of prey, would relentlessly pursue it until their objective was met, intimidating their victims with their terrifying roars.
There was also the Tzeentch Fire Demon Legion, whose lower bodies were covered in pink gills that could spray vaporized pus, allowing them to bounce high into the air with the propulsion of gas and unleash magic flames.
And there was the Nurgle Legion, made up of a group of Nurgle's Rotters with short, plump green bodies and bloated limbs, along with Plaguebearers wielding tattered Plague Swords.
In addition, behind these legions, there were a few small mixed combat units composed of human-shaped "Hyperspace Warriors."
These included Extremis Warriors radiating fiery red light, Fire Lizard Warriors with shapeshifting abilities, and Dark Elf Warriors who had appeared in the Greenwich Battle…
If one looked closely, many familiar faces could be seen among them, such as Lizard Dr. Connors, Aldrich Killian, Malekith, and others!
When converting souls, the Four Lackeys had specifically preserved the forms and consciousness of these individuals who originally possessed a certain level of combat power or potential.
Although these "Hyperspace Warriors" did not possess the powerful physical attributes and strong resistance to magic and physical attacks that "Hyperspace Demons" had,
they had more flexible tactics and could use more advanced modern weapons, making them a formidable new force not to be underestimated!
And in the sky, two Hyperspace aerial units hovered.
One was the Tzeentch Screamer Legion (also called Screamers), a group shaped like manta rays, covered in sharp spines.
And the Slaanesh Chaos Fury Legion, a group with bat-like wings, looking like flying monkeys that could use their cries to confuse the minds and souls of others.
It was clear that the types of soldiers the Four Lackeys had created using the souls Karl had given them were almost all low-level demons that required relatively little effort to successfully convert.
There was no other way; they only had a short week to prepare.
However, if anyone were to underestimate these low-level Hyperspace demons because of this, they would undoubtedly pay a painful price in blood and souls during the battle.
Because even the lowest-level Hyperspace demons would transform into the most fanatical warriors on the battlefield due to their extreme faith and worship of their creator.
And how does the old saying go?
The more basic the troops, the tougher and more durable they are!
It is worth mentioning that among the four ground legions, only the Khorne Legion, under the command of Bruise, who had been transformed into a Great Demon by Khorne, maintained a strict and orderly formation, while the formations of the other three legions were slightly more loose.
Behind the four legion formations were three colossal figures.
They were Great Demon Bruise of Khorne, hovering in mid-air, constantly flapping his dark wings, and the tamed pets, Shou Lao and the former Loki Amit.
The three Great Demons each stood before a massive Brass Throne, jointly guarding the figure upon the throne!
That was the Blood God Khorne, approximately a hundred meters tall, wearing heavy plate armor inscribed with countless runes and twisted faces, and possessing the head of a dog on a human body!!!
"Who are you, and why are you attacking Sun City?"
Horus, the God of Vengeance, who had come by order, arrived on the city wall surrounded by other gods, looking at the demon army outside the city through a layer of light golden energy shield, his expression turning unpredictable.
And when his gaze fell upon Amit behind the army formation, he could no longer suppress the anger in his heart and roared loudly.
"Amit, you traitor, so all these demons were brought in by you? Today, I will personally destroy your form and soul!"
Although Amit's aura had changed dramatically after being elevated to a Great Demon, appearing as if a flowing aura of blood constantly encircled her, like a crimson cloak draped over her,
her crocodile-like appearance had not changed much, so Horus recognized her at a glance.
However, facing Horus's questioning, Amit on the opposite side appeared to turn a deaf ear, immediately enraging the former.
It should be known that within the Egyptian Pantheon, Horus was a direct descendant of the gods, and now, with his father's support, he had become a member of the New Nine Pillars Gods.
In his eyes, Amit was merely a low-level demon used to punish human souls, and yet she dared to ignore his words in front of all the gods; it was simply outrageous!
If he did not punish her, how could he, the God of Vengeance, command respect in the future?
So, Horus, with his hawk head and human body, waved his large hand, pointing at the Hyperspace demon army outside the city, and roared with a ferocious expression:
"I don't care who you are, but anyone who dares to covet Celestial Heliopolis will ultimately be annihilated by me!"
Then he shouted to the Heavenly Warriors lined up behind him: "Brave gods of Sun City, in the name of the Nine Pillars Gods and the God of Vengeance, I order you to wipe out this evil legion that dares to invade Celestial Heliopolis!"
"Heavenly Warriors, attack!!!"
As the command was given, the gates of Sun City swung open, and the light golden energy shield also opened a gap. Countless Heavenly Warriors, holding their enchanted weapons high, charged towards the Hyperspace legion opposite them, led by numerous gods.
"For the Four Gods, kill these heretics!!"
Bruise drew his sword and pointed forward. The Khorne Legion, positioned at the very front and largest in number, immediately surged forward like a tide.
The fastest Flesh Hound Legion charged at the forefront, like hungry tigers unleashed from their cages.
As they neared the enemy, they opened their gaping mouths, letting out a series of soul-shaking roars that instantly caused the Heavenly Warriors in the enemy's front ranks to fall into a daze.
Just this brief moment of distraction was enough for the Flesh Hounds to swallow the heads of those Heavenly Warriors.
Closely following was the unstoppable army of Bloodletters.
These fire-red-skinned Hyperspace demons, wielding their Hellblades, howled and charged into the ranks of the Heavenly Warriors. Wherever they passed, it was a brutal scene of flying flesh and blood.
It should be known that even in warhammer 40k, Bloodletters are infamous for their brutal attack methods and their strong, uncontrollable desire for slaughter.
Although their fiery red bodies appeared no different from humans, their higher muscle density and heavily muscled limbs endowed them with far greater explosive power and resilience than humans.
No matter when or where you looked at these Bloodletters with their beastly, ferocious faces and a pair of slender demon horns on their heads, you would find an unquenchable, surging will to fight in their blood-red eyes.
They seemed to be a species specially born to please their Master; at Khorne's command, they would slaughter everything in the World.
Every Bloodletter held a red Hellblade. Although from its appearance, this greatsword looked like a broken sword covered in reddish-brown rust,
even the most elite Astartes, if scratched by this specially enchanted greatsword, even the smallest wound, would eventually perish if not treated with exorcism in time!
Because the injured person's soul would continuously flow from the wound scratched by the Hellblade into the Warp, until they eventually became a dried corpse!!!
And this was the powerful innate skill that Khorne specially bestowed upon this savage species that lived for slaughter.
And each Hellblade was intimately connected to a Bloodletter's soul, so they could neither be discarded nor stolen.
Furthermore, the Hellblade would provide almost unlimited power enhancement to the Bloodletter in battle as the number of enemies killed increased.
Simply put: the more they kill, the stronger they become!
It is worth mentioning that Gwen's Hell Spider Spears were also endowed with the exact same special attributes as the Hellblade.
Therefore, in the warhammer 40k World, in the Imperium of Man's battles against the Chaos Gods, such a strange scene often occurred.
That is, at the end of a battle, the power of the Bloodletters who successfully survived would be several times greater than when the battle first began.
Even powerful Astartes Space Marines would find such enemies extremely troublesome!
Puff, puff, puff—
Charging at the forefront of the Bloodletter army were the largest and strongest Khorne Heralds. Not only were they the best among the Bloodletters in mastering killing techniques, but they were also Masters of assault and charge.
Therefore, they quickly tore open a huge gap in the Heavenly Warriors' formation from the front.
"Damn it, quickly send people to plug that gap! Absolutely do not let those demons charge into Sun City!"
On the city wall, Horus watched as the Heavenly Realm army immediately fell into a disadvantage upon engaging in battle, almost dying of anger, but at the same time, he gained a new understanding of the enemy's ferocity.
As the command was given, a large number of Heavenly Warriors again poured out from within the city gates.
However, before these Heavenly Warriors could advance to reinforce, the Tzeentch Fire Demons, who had already completed their spell-casting wind-up, began to spray streaks of yellow and blue magic flames from the many mouth-like openings at the ends of their arms.
These magic fire projectiles, like arrows, were densely hurled towards the Heavenly Warriors opposite them, looking from afar like a chilling rain curtain descending from the sky.
Puff, puff, puff—
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—
Many unsuspecting Heavenly Warriors were struck by the magic fire Rockets descending from the sky. Their bodies instantly transformed from the inside out into colorful fireballs of yellow and blue.
No matter what methods the people around them used to rescue them, they simply could not extinguish these magic flames.
"Damn it, what kind of magic is this? Why can't it be extinguished?"
Horus watched with furious eyes as large swaths of Heavenly Warriors below were burned alive into bubbling puddles of flesh. He could only vent his anger on the city wall in front of him, repeatedly pounding the sturdy wall with his unbreakable Iron Fists.
But he knew that now was not the time for him to personally act.
Because the powerful enemy opposite had shown no signs of making a move, so he had to wait!
Clearly, Horus had already set his sights on Khorne, who was sitting on the Brass Throne opposite. But if he knew that the other party didn't even have the slightest interest in looking at him directly, he wondered if he would fly into a rage?
However, just as Horus was about to order the ranged magic units on the city wall to join the battle, he suddenly saw that the fleshy, muddy objects below the city, which had been burned by the magic flames, all exploded with a "bang," and then out of them jumped Pink Horrors, each over a meter tall with bloated bodies.
These bizarre creatures, with pink skin and giant heads that almost occupied their entire bodies, as soon as they appeared, they let out a series of sharp, eerie cackles from their gaping mouths filled with spiky fangs, like a group of high drug addicts.
"Ohhs—"
And when these Pink Horrors were attacked by the Heavenly Warriors, they would immediately retaliate, releasing colorful balls of magic flames from their fingertips, shooting erratically in all directions.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—
Dozens of Heavenly Warriors positioned at the front were immediately struck by colorful magic flames.
After a violent and distorted burning, some of the struck Heavenly Warriors instantly turned into screaming glass statues.
They were then shattered into pieces when their panicked teammates stumbled into them!
Others turned into disgusting chunks of flesh, reeking of decay…
And some were transformed into giant tentacles, like octopus tentacles, writhing back and forth on the ground…
"Prioritize clearing out those pink demons!"
An Egyptian God with a ram's head evidently realized the terrifying nature of the Pink Horrors. If they were not stopped in time, the morale of the Heavenly Warriors would soon plummet.
More importantly, those Pink Horrors were located near the gates of Sun City. If they successfully blocked the gates, the soldiers fighting fiercely outside the city would immediately lose their reinforcements, becoming rootless duckweeds, caught in a pincer attack by the enemy!!!
