Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Summer Camp, The Beginning of a Dream

Pallet Town, Kanto Region

Summer was in full swing, a perfect time for a summer camp. To enrich their children's future experiences, most residents of Pallet Town asked Professor Oak to organize such an event. Professor Oak gladly accepted and generously offered to organize it free of charge.

Most of the children born in Pallet Town gathered outside Professor Oak's lab, eagerly waiting for him to lead the group. Among them, a calm-faced boy stood out.

This boy, with short black hair, wore a red hat, a black sleeveless vest, a red jacket, black training gloves, blue trousers, and white sneakers. This was Red.

Red wasn't originally from the Pokémon world. He hailed from Earth, where his life wasn't particularly happy due to family upheavals. Pokémon were his solace, but he knew he had to abandon his hobbies to survive in a bustling city. In a twist of fate, he saved a girl from an accident, sacrificing himself in the process. This act of kindness transported him to the Pokémon world, where he was reborn in Pallet Town as Ash's twin brother.

From a young age, Red displayed psychic powers and an aura that even impressed Professor Oak with his intelligence. Oak wisely kept Red's superpowers a secret to protect him from malicious organizations.

(Seven years have passed since I arrived in this world. Pokémon truly are amazing creatures. Only by experiencing them firsthand can one understand their wonder...)

"Red, you're still as unsociable as ever," a familiar voice called out. Red looked up to see Gary, Professor Oak's grandson, and one of his few close friends.

"Yeah, brother! You're here; don't be so cold!" Ash chimed in.

"Alright, since you've put me in this position..." Red smiled. Only a few could make him smile, and Ash and Gary were among them.

Professor Oak soon appeared, and the summer camp began. He led the children to the mountain forest, sharing knowledge and answering their questions patiently. This was why he was well-regarded in Pallet Town.

However, Red and Ash, both rebellious in their ways, didn't pay much attention. Red had already mastered most of the knowledge, while Ash was too reckless.

Red wasn't just the most handsome boy in town; he was also extraordinarily knowledgeable about Pokémon. His aloofness was a misunderstanding; he simply didn't talk to strangers but was warm to those close to him.

Professor Oak often wondered if all of Delia's good qualities had gone to Red. By age five, Red was working as Oak's assistant, supporting his family. He even published influential papers that caused a sensation in the Pokémon research community.

As the camp continued, Red broke away from the group, heading into the forest. Despite his powers, Professor Oak was concerned, but Red assured him he wouldn't do anything dangerous.

In the forest, Red sensed a group of adults. It was Team Rocket, conducting a secret operation. Using his powers, Red decided to investigate rather than alert Professor Oak, fearing Team Rocket might evade capture.

The squad leader of Team Rocket was discussing their mission, unaware that Red was watching. They were following instructions from a mysterious figure known only as Professor Evilwood.

Hiding, Red pondered the situation, aware that this parallel world might not follow the anime's plot exactly.
