Chapter 55 - Chapter 55: Phoenix Tears in the Forbidden Forest

Quirinus Quirrell.

At the staff table, Quirrell wasn't there.

Reasonably speaking, before Halloween, Quirrell's body could still withstand Voldemort's use. It was quite odd that he was absent at this time.

Wait a minute...

Audrey seemed to understand something.

The thirty-something lives lost in the Gray family—that couldn't have been the Dark Lord's doing, could it?

Didn't this guy not understand love? Would he stick his neck out for his daughter?

The character setting had collapsed, okay?

She thought about it again and again, and finally cleared up her train of thought.

First, Voldemort confirmed in the library that his daughter was at Hogwarts.

Then he confirmed that his daughter was using the alias Audrey Astley.

And Audrey was a world-famous superstar in the Muggle world, so—

—Voldemort's daughter was singing for people in the Muggle world, which was unacceptable to Voldemort.

Audrey didn't know if her thinking was correct, but anyway, she felt this logic was quite smooth.

The furious Voldemort wanted to slaughter the Gray family, but he overestimated Quirrell's body. So Quirrell wasn't here, most likely because his body couldn't withstand Voldemort's high-intensity usage and had started to collapse...

Then, would he appear in the Forbidden Forest tonight to poach unicorns?

While she was letting her imagination run wild, the captains of the "Audrey Guard" for each house were selected.

Slytherin's was naturally the initiator, Dorca Yaxley.

Gryffindor's turned out to be the Quidditch team captain, Oliver Wood!

Hufflepuff's was a seventh-year senior, Luther Corole.

Ravenclaw's was Penelope.

"Audrey, you have to appoint the Captain of the General Guard Squad!"

Penelope proposed, and all the young wizards looked at Audrey. The young wizards who had spoken to Audrey all hoped she would say their names.

"Then let it be Isaline Windsor!"

The whole hall applauded; there were no objections.

The surname Windsor indicated that Isaline was royalty, a member of the House of Windsor. No one objected to her being the Captain General.

But if other members of the royal family knew about this, they might charge into Hogwarts—'Our royal family member is being made a guard captain by you lot? Who are you insulting?'

However, Isaline was beaming with joy, jumping up and hugging Audrey.

Audrey: 'I suspect you are taking the opportunity to cop a feel, I just don't have evidence.'

Audrey Guard? Heh, what a child's play organization.

Audrey didn't take this seriously at all, thinking it was just a "star-chasing" activity by the students, probably something like a fan club? [Flag]

...

Sure enough, Quirrell asked for leave from the afternoon Defense Against the Dark Arts class, so Audrey logically lay in her dormitory for the whole afternoon.

After comfortably eating a hot pot feast in her bedroom, Audrey prepared to go to sleep early.

She took out handfuls of Galleons from her pouch, scattered them on the bed, jumped high into the air, and pounced into the gold coins with a "clatter."

The Galleons were bounced into the air by her weight and fell again, making crisp jingling sounds that made Audrey's eyes curve into crescents.

This was just too blissful!

Although Momo made the bed very meticulously, it lacked the thrill of truly "sleeping in Galleons"!

Indeed, for enjoyment in this aspect, relying on oneself was the most reliable!

Just as she closed her eyes, she felt a palpitation in her heart.

Something happened in the Forbidden Forest!

This was a little trick she had left on the magical creatures when she had intimate contact with them in the Forbidden Forest last Friday. It was a small spell similar to the "Dark Mark," capable of forming a simple link with the target of the spell.

The one in danger now was... the unicorn Heidi!! (The same unicorn from King of Flags at Hogwarts; too lazy to come up with a new name.)

Audrey jumped up from the bed, sending Galleons flying into mid-air.

"Crack!"

Audrey disappeared, and only then did the Galleons fall onto the carpet, hitting each other with dull thuds.

...

Deep in the Forbidden Forest.

A new moon hung high in the sky, casting faint moonlight that made the silver mane of the pure creature lying on the ground appear even more holy.

However, this snow-white unicorn was motionless at this moment. Only the occasional twitch of muscles indicated that she still had a breath left.

A figure in black robes was lying on the ground, sucking blood vigorously from the unicorn Heidi's neck.

A chilling voice sounded from the back of the figure's head: "You useless trash! You're this weak after killing only thirty-something people!"

The figure trembled, speaking in a slurred and shuddering voice: "Master, I will find the Philosopher's Stone as soon as possible, I promise..."

"Shut up! You know nothing about the whereabouts of the Philosopher's Stone right now! Don't speak meaningless words!"

"Yes, Master. I'm sorry, Master."

"Are you full? If you're full, it's time to go!"

The black-robed figure stood up tremblingly.

With a "crack," a figure appeared beside the unicorn Heidi.

"Avada Kedavra!"

Green light shot straight at the newcomer.

Voldemort shouted: "Stop, you fool! That's my little water snake!!"

Chapter 55: Phoenix Tears in the Forbidden Forest

However, Quirrell's Avada Kedavra meant nothing to Hydrus. A combat power of 1.5 Lu was even worse than Old Barty!

Not to mention that Hydrus was now activating the dual constitution of Fire Dragon + Phoenix! Her combat power soared to eleven Lu! This was her strongest form right now!

With a wave of her dragon claw, Quirrell's Avada Kedavra couldn't penetrate the thick dragon scales at all and was knocked away by Hydrus with her bare hand.

She had the confidence to catch the Killing Curse with her bare hands. Even if the dragon scales couldn't withstand it, she still had the Phoenix constitution, and Phoenixes could undergo nirvana!

Quirrell: ...

Although Voldemort couldn't see, he could feel it!

He could hardly conceal the ecstasy in his heart. This was his daughter, his natural ally, the best weapon in the world!

As long as she honed herself for a few more years, once he resurrected and joined forces with her, Dumbledore would be no match for the two of them!

"I'm sorry, Little Master," Quirrell bowed humbly, complimenting Hydrus, "Little Master's strength is superb; your subordinate is far inferior! Please forgive your subordinate's rudeness."

Hydrus didn't say a word and walked straight to the unicorn Heidi.

Heidi was already dying. Silver blood covered her chest, her breathing was getting weaker, those big bright eyes were gradually closing, and the magical glow on her silver horn was also dimming.

Hydrus carefully examined Heidi's wound and found that the dark magic had eroded extremely deeply. Ordinary methods probably couldn't save her.

What were ordinary methods?

Using healing spells for treatment.

Because of the obstruction by dark magic, healing spells couldn't work on the wound itself at all.

"Little water snake," Voldemort said, "I know girls like pretty things."

His shrill voice was particularly chilling in the Forbidden Forest at night.

"But beauty is the most useless thing, just like rose petals, transient and fragile!"

"It is this unicorn's greatest honor to restore my strength! You don't need to grieve for it."

Hydrus snorted coldly. "She is my partner."

After speaking, Hydrus shed tears.

Phoenixes could not only undergo nirvana, but their tears were also one of the best healing medicines, capable of curing many traumas caused by dark magic!

Hydrus's tears dripped onto Heidi's wound. The dark magic residue dissipated rapidly like ash blown by the wind.

Heidi's condition visibly improved. Hydrus tapped her wand lightly, and several rays of tender green light fell on Heidi. That deep wound instantly began to heal.

In just a few seconds, Heidi struggled to stand up.

She hid behind Hydrus, gently rubbing her large head against Hydrus.

Hydrus took out a potion from her pouch and fed it to Heidi. "Alright, it's okay now. Go home quickly. The nights haven't been peaceful lately; don't come out alone anymore!"

Heidi nodded, turned around, and jumped into the bushes, disappearing in just a few bounds.

"My Lord Dark Lord," Hydrus switched her Fire Dragon constitution back to Metamorphmagus, restoring Audrey's appearance. "Please do not harm the unicorns in the Forbidden Forest anymore."

Audrey fished out two money bags from her pouch and threw them over.

"Here are two thousand Galleons. The unicorn blood you buy will be enough for you to use for a school year."

Voldemort seemed angered by such charity. He shouted sternly:

"Hydrus! Is this the attitude you use to speak to your father?"

Audrey shrugged indifferently. "I haven't seen a father who kills his daughter's playmate either."

After saying that, she rose into the air and flew toward Hogwarts, her heart aching. Two thousand Galleons!

She didn't dare switch off the Phoenix constitution easily. Voldemort, who had split his soul into seven parts, obviously had mental issues. Who could guarantee that he wouldn't suddenly take over Quirrell's body in a rage and fire an Avada Kedavra at her?

Hehehehe, Hydrus died? (Applaud if you understand!)

"Hydrus!" Voldemort's voice came. "Daddy was wrong this time. Can you forgive Daddy?"

A smile appeared on Audrey's face, and her heart settled down. It seemed Voldemort wouldn't kill her easily.

Operation Bottom Line Probe, great success!

Audrey already knew where Voldemort's bottom line with her was. In the future, she could act a bit more freely.

Conclusion: To deal with Dumbledore in the end, Voldemort wouldn't fall out with her prematurely! It was completely fine for her to slightly disobey his wishes!

Since it was like this, she could openly refuse such childish things as the first-year children's obstacle course game!

First school year, secured! Second and third school years, Old Voldy wouldn't appear, and Young Voldy was nothing to fear!

There was no better news than this.

Hydrus flew higher and higher. After getting out of the range of Avada Kedavra, she disappeared with a "crack."

Voldemort's voice betrayed no emotion. "Quirrell, Hydrus is more important than I imagined. This Christmas, I want to prepare a big gift for her!"

Quirrell: "Master, the money we can use is limited..."

"Trash! Can't you go earn some?"
