Chapter 89 - Chapter 89: The Taste of Home

Potter lay in bed for three days and missed the final Quidditch match.

As a result, only Ravenclaw lost all three games, while the other three houses all had a record of two wins and one loss.

When the match points were finally calculated, it turned out that Hufflepuff had won the Inter-House Quidditch Cup this year!

Rumor had it that Marcus Flint smashed everything in his dormitory.

Another rumor spread throughout Slytherin House: *Astley refused to listen to the Captain's tactical arrangements, causing Slytherin's total score to be lower than Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, thus missing the Quidditch Championship!*

However, was Astley's reputation so easily tarnished?

The little snakes of the Audrey Protection Squad, Slytherin Division, severely criticized this rumor.

"If it weren't for Flint's incompetence, how could we have lost the first game? If Audrey had played in the first game, our house would definitely have won all three games!"

Nevertheless, thanks to Snape's efforts over the entire school year, even though they lost the Quidditch Cup, Slytherin's points were still far ahead—forty-three points ahead of the second-place Ravenclaw and seventy-one points ahead of the last-place Gryffindor.

So the little snakes' debate about Audrey lasted less than half a day before they immediately immersed themselves in the excitement of seven consecutive championships!

Only Audrey knew that a Head of House could never outmaneuver a Headmaster, unless the Headmaster wanted to die himself.

And right now, whoever the Headmaster wanted to win would win.

This kind of reversed happiness didn't belong to Slytherin, and she had no intention of watching that boring drama. With that time, she might as well go home and accompany her lonely older brother.

Thus, she skipped the End-of-Term Feast and went straight back to Astley Manor.

"Audrey! You're finally back!"

It wasn't her brother Rick who welcomed her, but Mr. Peter Waterman.

"Studying with a master must have been very rewarding," Mr. Waterman said with an excited face. "I've settled things for you in America! Your summer concert tour in America will have a total of six stops and twenty-four shows. The appearance fee for each show is eight million US dollars! Plus countless advertisements!"

Mr. Waterman looked at Audrey now as if he were looking at a Greek statue made of solid gold.

"In one month, you can earn at least two hundred million dollars! How about it, happy?"

Audrey's expression remained as calm as an ancient well. If it were in the past, earning two or three hundred million for a month of hard work would have made her jump for joy.

But now... it seemed just okay. When money reached a certain amount, earning an extra two or three small goals didn't seem like much.

However, she thought about it. Two hundred million dollars could buy nearly three tons of gold, which could be used to build a large gold bed.

"Alright, Mr. Waterman, schedule it for August. I want to rest properly for the entire month of July."

"No problem, Audrey!"

Mr. Waterman didn't have any airs of a boss; he now looked more like Audrey's assistant.

"Rick! Stop writing scores! Audrey is back!"

The door to the workroom was pushed open violently.

Rick rushed out, unshaven and scruffy.

"Audrey is back? Didn't you say tomorrow?"

"Brother!" Audrey waved at Rick. "I was homesick, so I came a day early!"

"That's great!"

Rick ran down the stairs *thump thump thump*, looking Audrey up and down with joy. "You've grown a bit taller since the Christmas holidays. Looks like the food at school is good!"

Of course it was good; Momo indicated that this was all her credit.

"Rick, I'm giving you half a month off. Spend some good time with Audrey,"

Mr. Waterman put on quite the boss airs when facing Rick, even though Rick was now a big singer in his own right.

However, in Peter Waterman's view, there was still a difference between a big singer and a superstar. Audrey was a superstar, a superstar who could stand shoulder to shoulder with MJ.

"Put the creation of new songs on hold. Your work focus now is the concerts in August!"

Mr. Waterman left after saying this; he didn't want to disturb the siblings' reunion.

"That's terrible, Audrey," Rick said with annoyance. "I didn't know you were coming back today, so I didn't prepare any ingredients. We might have to go to the supermarket later..."

With a *swish*, Momo made her dazzling entrance.

She had already met Rick during the Christmas holidays, so Rick naturally wasn't unfamiliar with this magical little creature.

"Mr. Astley, please rest assured, Momo has already prepared the ingredients!"

Audrey laughed, "See, my Momo is still the reliable one!"

Momo raised her head proudly. The pillowcase woven from unicorn hair on her body reflected flashes of silver light—this was a gift from her Little Master!

...

After staying at home for two days, Mr. Arthur Weasley came to visit. They had agreed during the term that Audrey would take Rick to visit the Weasleys' Burrow.

"Hello, Mr. Astley. I am Arthur Weasley, Audrey's classmate's father!"

Rick, who didn't show fear even in front of Dumbledore and Grindelwald, naturally wouldn't be terrified facing a wizard like Arthur. He responded very politely:

"Hello, Mr. Weasley. Nice to meet you!"

Arthur came in his flying car, which amazed Rick.

Sitting in the back seat, he touched here and there, and suddenly said to Audrey, "Audrey, can our family's car be modified like this too?"

Audrey said helplessly, "It can be, but Mr. Waterman and Ms. Kael often have to ride in your car. Aren't you afraid they'll find out about wizards?"

"It's really troublesome," Rick muttered softly. "I wonder when wizards will be able to live together with ordinary people. Wouldn't that be super cool?"

Driving among the clouds was a very novel experience—for Rick, of course. Audrey sat quietly in the passenger seat, feigning sleep. The Weasleys' vintage car was really too slow!

After an unknown amount of time, Arthur lowered the car slightly.

"Down there is Ottery St. Catchpole. We've arrived!"

Audrey opened her eyes and looked down from the air. Muggle-Repelling Charms and Confundus Charms were ineffective on her, so she clearly saw the Burrow hidden among the small hills and trees.

Her vision far exceeded that of ordinary people. On a mountain not far away, she also saw a wondrous building that looked extremely like a rook chess piece; the Lovegood family should be living there.

A few miles away from the village, there was also a house surging with the brilliance of magic. That must be the Diggory home; Cedric Diggory lived there.

The car landed steadily beside the Burrow's dilapidated garage.

With a slight vibration of the car body, Rick saw the surrounding scenery change rapidly.

The trees and green grass suddenly seemed to be pushed aside from the middle, revealing a crooked, rather post-modernist style house. Behind the house was a garden with a small pond.

A sign was stuck slantingly in front of the door, reading 'The Burrow'.

As for why Arthur didn't park the car in the garage, it was because the garage now housed his latest big toy—a T-80 tank.

Before they even entered the door, a plump lady came out to welcome them!

"Audrey! My sweetie!"

As a loyal fan of Audrey, inviting her to be a guest at home was Molly's happiest moment.

Molly's broad embrace made Audrey suffocate a little. This lady was indeed the champion of Britain's Strongest Mother on Screen! Surpassing Elastigirl from *The Incredibles* and Sarah Connor from *Terminator 2*!

"Quick, come into the house quickly, the children are waiting for you!"

"Oh, this must be Audrey's brother. Welcome to our home!"

Entering the room, a thick magical atmosphere rushed over them—the grandfather clock showing the locations of family members, the broom and dustpan sweeping by themselves, the ladle stirring the thick soup continuously, and *Magic Time* which perfectly reproduced Audrey's magical singing voice.

"Wow, this is amazing," Rick was like Grandma Liu entering the Grand View Garden, looking here and touching there. "Audrey, do you think we can do this in our house?"

"Audrey!" Ron and the twins jumped up first. "Welcome!"

Percy stood up and gave Audrey a smile.

Ginny smiled shyly, completely unlike the heartthrob she would become years later. She quietly rolled up the poster hidden behind her back—was asking her brothers' classmate for an autograph too embarrassing?

Fred snatched the poster away and handed it generously to Audrey. "Quick, sign it for Ginny. She likes you so much!"

Audrey smiled, smiling exactly like she did on the poster. She scribbled a few strokes *swish swish* and returned the poster to Ginny with her own hands.

"To my favorite little sister Ginny, wishing her dreams come true, Audrey Astley."

Ginny opened her small mouth slightly, reading that sentence repeatedly. Seemingly thinking of something, her little face instantly turned as red as a boiled prawn.

Charlie didn't return because he was working at the dragon reserve. Instead, Bill was here because he was on standby at headquarters due to the Gringotts matter.

He came forward and smiled, "Audrey, thank you so much. You saved my job! You know, this is really too important for us!"

Audrey laughed, "Mr. and Mrs. Weasley have helped me a lot. It's only right for me to do something for you!"

"Dears, let's talk at the dinner table. Lunch is ready!"

With Molly's order, the redheads, big and small, immediately took their places.

Audrey looked at the lively Weasley family, envious in her heart.

"Brother Rick, when are you going to start a family?"

Rick tilted his head in confusion, while Audrey asked softly,

"That way, I can have a bunch of nephews and nieces!"
