Chapter 154 - Chapter 154: Dementors: For Freedom!

Suddenly, a commotion broke out in the front carriage.

The silver light of the Patronus Charm could be seen several carriages away.

"Daphne said Scarhead was attacked by a Dementor, let's go see!"

Draco Malfoy's cheerful voice rang out from outside the carriage.

Audrey frowned; she felt something wasn't quite right.

Ginny had already stood up and run toward the carriage where Harry was, her small face filled with urgent worry.

Audrey shook her head and followed. Ginny was the apple of the Weasley family's eye, the only girl; if anything happened to her, how heartbroken would Molly be?

"Isaline, Luna, I'll be right back. Stay in the compartment and don't go anywhere!"

...

Along the way, most of the students stayed obediently in their carriages. Out there were Dementors!

Fortunately, no one felt happy at this moment, which prevented the Dementors from rioting.

After waving away several "hungry" Dementors along the way, Audrey reached the carriage where Harry's compartment was located.

"Harry, wake up, wake up!"

Ron's calls came from a compartment.

Ginny's expression changed drastically.

She bravely dashed through several Dementors. Despite shivering all over, she still struggled to wave her arms and ran hard into the compartment.

Was it because of 'love'? Or perhaps the Dementors felt the arrival of their Queen?

In any case, not a single Dementor laid a hand on Ginny.

At the door of the compartment, a large silver dog barked loudly at the Dementors, making them hesitate to move forward.

"You filthy, evil things, get the hell away from here!"

Sirius ushered Ginny into the compartment, waving his wand to make his Patronus—the large dog—leap forward a step, forcing the Dementors back a little. Then the dog retreated again.

After all, there was a whole compartment of people to protect behind him.

"Remus! Where is your Patronus?"

"I can't spare a hand! Harry's condition is serious!"

"Damn it!" Sirius complained, increasing the magical output for the Patronus Charm.

"Expecto Patronum!"

A majestic silver Pixiu leaped out, and the Dementors quickly retreated, vanishing at the other end of the carriage.

The Pixiu began to radiate a holy silver light as bright as moonlight, spreading out through the carriage windows. It formed a circle of light with a radius of two or three hundred meters across the wilderness, which was dim and lightless due to the dense clouds.

"As expected of you! I've never seen such a powerful Patronus!"

Sirius breathed a sigh of relief. The Dementors outside gradually dispersed, and the freezing temperature slowly returned to normal.

It wasn't until the dark clouds in the sky dissipated that the Dementors were declared completely gone.

Audrey dispersed the memory of herself sleeping on a gold mountain from her mind, her brow furrowed.

From the Dementors besieging this compartment, she had only received one message—'Freedom'!

They were so fanatical about this word that they were unwilling to obey even her commands as the 'Queen'. Forced by circumstances, she had used the Patronus Charm.

"Oh, the great Savior Harry Potter was actually scared unconscious by a Dementor!"

Draco Malfoy leaned against the compartment door, unleashing a tirade inside—even if Harry Potter couldn't hear him at all, Draco could still derive joy from it. Since the Slytherin Quidditch team's loss to Gryffindor last school year, Draco's hatred for Harry Potter had risen to a new level.

"Get lost, Malfoy!"

"Densaugeo!"

The one telling Draco to get lost was Hermione; the one directly casting a jinx was Ginny.

And the one running out angrily, ready to throw some punches, was Ron.

Draco sneered. Goyle and Crabbe were standing behind him. Ron Weasley was just humiliating himself!

However, a pair of large hands pressed down on Goyle and Crabbe's heads, pushing them back.

It was Sirius.

"Enough! You're Narcissa's son, Draco Malfoy?"

Facing an ill-tempered Sirius, Draco froze for a moment.

"Get back to your compartment, or I'll chase you down and deduct points after school starts!"

Draco took a step back, then puffed out his chest again.

He weighed the pros and cons in his mind, ultimately deciding that face was more important. The Malfoy family must always maintain their dignity!

"Are you a new professor? My father is a school governor, do you believe..."

"Shut up, Malfoy!"

Audrey stepped forward and waved her hand.

"You'd better go back to your compartment now. This is Sirius Black; you've heard of him."

The scum of pure-blood families, the shame of the Black family, the Gryffindor brute.

This series of labels instantly jumped into Draco's mind before he realized that this guy was also his uncle.

Most importantly, now that his cousin had spoken, he didn't dare to disobey.

Others might not know, but he knew better than anyone that over the summer, Cousin Hydrus had assembled a massive wizard army. Because of some of Audrey's industries in Ukraine, the Malfoy family had also gotten a share of the pie!

No, no, no!

He wasn't backing down because he feared his cousin's power!

He just respected his little cousin from the bottom of his heart!

Draco retreated. As he passed Audrey, he whispered, "Careful, the Dark Lord is back."

Audrey nodded nonchalantly. The Dark Lord had returned in the first year; in the second year, she had even personally destroyed a piece of his soul—by biting it, no less.

Just some little games between father and daughter to enhance their bond, what was the big deal?

But looking at the situation, was Lucius playing both sides again?

Seeing Draco leave, Sirius forced a smile onto his face.

"Audrey, quick, come in,"

As Audrey entered, everyone relaxed, as if as long as she arrived, everything would be fine.

"Take a look at Harry, how is he?"

Inside the carriage, Sirius stood at the door, with the 'brave' Ron behind him. Just as Ron was about to rush out earlier, Hermione had pulled him back, so Hermione was sitting behind Ron, peeking out from behind him to give Audrey a smile.

On the other row of seats, Harry was unconscious. Lupin was supporting him, constantly emitting blue light with his wand in an attempt to wake him. Ginny was half-kneeling in front of the seat, looking at Harry with a worried face.

"It's no use, I can't wake him," Lupin shook his head dejectedly. "His condition is exactly like those whose souls have been sucked out by Dementors."

Audrey stepped forward, her black eyes beginning to change color—deep blue starlight, stained with azure.

She pressed her hand onto Harry's forehead.

After a moment.

"No, he's fine. He just recalled some suffocatingly terrifying and desperate experiences from his past,"

Audrey took out her wand.

"Of course, the Dementors did indeed drain quite a bit of his happiness, but it's not a major issue."

With a wave of her wand, several wisps of black thread drifted out from Harry's lightning-shaped scar.

These few wisps of black thread were something Audrey didn't mention to the others—

—Harry was actually Voldemort's seventh Horcrux. That soul fragment had already become entangled with Harry's soul.

When Harry's soul was weak, Voldemort's soul would take the opportunity to creep in. But now, Audrey had severed those 'restless' soul tentacles that wanted to take control of Harry.

In fact, Audrey had obtained Salazar Slytherin's inheritance and had already mastered the essence of soul magic, far more sophisticated than Voldemort.

Given some time, Audrey could completely excise Voldemort's soul from Harry.

But that would be very troublesome and tiring.

Lending a helping hand today was the greatest effort she could make for an ordinary fan!

From beginning to end, she was only worried about the Weasleys.

However, seeing the worried look on Ginny's face, Audrey sighed inwardly.

Truly a handful!

Like an old father cleaning up after his son-in-law, though unwilling, it had to be done.
