Frey POV
"Concentrate and try to feel it, gather the demonic-power by drifting the aura that covers your whole body."
Frey tried to gather his demonic power, concentrating on the same feeling as what Latia's hand gave off.
It had been three and a half week since he was reincarnated as a Devil, the time which had been spent of learning the basic about Devil society and their powers
So he knew the basic principles about the demonic powers, he had some understanding on it. And because Latia was clutching onto his hand, her hand which were covered in her own demonic power, his body knew the feeling of this power.
'Now all I need to do is imagine that power, surging forth.'
"That's right, just like that focus on gathering your aura to a singular point." Latia's hand left his own, as his aura started to concentrate into an orb.
A new weight was added on his hand, opening his eyes he could see a Silver-Gray Volleyball sized orb floating on top on his hand.
He took a deep breath, keeping the orb stable as he turned towards his king who supported a shocked expression.
"Is something wrong?"
"Ah.. No." Latia started at the orb on top of his hand, his shocked expression still there. "Are you using your Sacred Gear?"
"No." He shook his head, not understanding why she was so shocked. Before starting the training, Latia herself had easily created an orb four times as large as his. "My gear manifesting is always accompanied by the silver bracelets."
"Why is there something wrong?" Frey waited for her response to come.
"You see, a newly reincarnated devil shouldn't be able to create an orb that sized." Latia calmly explained the strange occurrence. "Especially when that Devil isn't reincarnated with a Bishop or a Queen, or didn't have a history of using magic prior to being reincarnated."
Things finally started to fall in right order, like Latia had said he wasn't reincarnated using any of those two pieces but rather a Knight piece, which was known for granting extraordinary speed.
Latia pressed her fingers on her lips, a sign that knew meant she was thinking about something.
"Could you manifest your Gear?" He nodded his head, tugging at the feeling when manifesting his gear causing a pair of silver bracelet to appear on his wrists.
Immediately he could feel it, it wasn't like when he first manifested the gear in the train. It was different, he could feel his strength increased, his sense sharpening and most importantly the Volleyball sized orb multiplied 2x.
Latia started to chuckle to herself, her eyes shining as though she had won a jackpot.
"Is this enough?"
"Yes!! It's more than enough." Latia excitedly nodded her head looking at her knight. "Not even most reincarnated queens or bishops have that much aura, especially as you are were a human before."
This whole occurrence was a shocking moment for Frey himself, an occurrence that made him question certain things.
"Is there any reason this could be?" His question caused Latia to cough into her hand, calming her excitement.
"There are countless possibilities that I could think of, it may be due to Twice critical granting your body Dragon like property. Or it could be your lineage, having descended from a great hero or great magician."
All the points Latia had just mentioned valid, he himself had thought of those.
'It's probably just the sacred gear aspect, no way would I have been abandoned if I carried the blood of someone that great.'
That was what he justified himself with, though deep down he knew he may have been wrong.
He had seen this world, of how the Host of one of the strongest dragons couldn't create an orb bigger than Golfball. So even the sacred gear aspect wouldn't make sense, with him having a vastly inferior ge-
A hand appeared on his cheek, having lightly been slapped by his king.
"I don't like they look, I will not have you question yourself." His king stated firmly, his doubt having been seen by her. "You are my sole Knight and my first member, so don't doubt yourself."
Frey chuckled to himself as he heard her, despite trying to maintain a regal appearance it failed, she looked more cute than noble.
"Now you are thinking something rude about me." Her cheeks puffed, making her look even cuter.
"I am not." Frey grinned in response, in the beginning he had doubted this girl, how stupid he was?
This past week had painted a pretty good picture of what kind of person Latia was.
An upbeat girl, filled with joy and wonder. One who may admire her uncle a bit too much. But most of all caring, she went along quietly nicely with all the servants in the castle and him, people who other devils wouldn't bother with.
"Mou~, whatever."

Ardron POV
"Are you sure of that?" He asked his queen, as he overlooked his daughter helping her knight learn magic.
"I am quite sure of it, you can ask Latia about it." He sighed to himself as he saw Pott nods his head.
"So a newly reincarnated Knight has more Demonic aura than a Mid-class bishop or a queen." He repeated the absurd words.
That shouldn't be possible, unless the boy was of some great lineage. But most of them are usually secure, not found in orphanages.
'That the most logical option, even if the boys gear is a sub species it shouldn't have demanded two knight pieces unless his lineage played a factor or shown that level of demonic aura for a newly reincarnated Devil.'
'My little Latia is quite lucky, if that is the case.' He mused proudly, something that caused his Wife and his Queen to sigh.
"I will ask my brother to see if he can dig up anything about him." He nodded at lily's words, House Agares arguably had the best network for information gathering.
If he was descended from some great lineage, then it was paramount to know which one.
Some lineages are accompanied with as much blessings as they are with curses. Or the fact, if it's through some divinity, that would cause a political maelstrom to deal with.
"Pott, you said you found him in Iran didn't you?" To which his queen nodded.
"Then go there, investigate Frey. The orphanage he lived in, and it's surrounding. Also see if there has been an supernatural incident that Frey could possibly be tied to." He muttered, overlooking his daughter as she taught basic of magic to Frey.
"I will try to contact my brother, to see if he has anything to add in this."

Now then, Frey accomplishment Is impressive for someone who wasn't particularly involved with Supernatural world. For example Asia who had used her gear a lot in her time as a nun, created a orb the size of soft ball. Just compare that to the Mc.
And for Ardron decision to do the investigation is a legit reason, like I already mentioned. And for Ardron who adores his daughter, finding who frey is descended from would possibly make Latia even happier.
And would make his daughter more renown for having a Hero's descendant in her Peerage.
