Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Heartless Boss Appears, Starting by Scamming Garp Out of Millions of Berries!

East Blue.

Foosha Village.

Makino's bar was as lively as ever.

But in front of the bar, a rather out-of-place stall had recently appeared.

A simple wooden stand, with a single wooden board standing forlornly on it.

On the board, four large characters were scrawled in ink.

Dungeon Shop.

"Hahahaha! You brats! Still think you can escape from this old man!"

A booming laugh exploded at the village entrance.

Garp was back.

Under each of his arms, he held a struggling little tyke.

"Let go of me! You bastard old man!"

Ace on the left was furious, flailing his arms and legs.

"Waaah! I want to be the Pirate King! I don't want to be a Marine!"

Luffy on the right was crying so hard that snot bubbles were coming out, his two legs kicking wildly in the air.

Garp's smile instantly vanished.

A vein throbbed on his forehead.

"You're too noisy!"

"Be quiet for this old man!"

His two free hands clenched into fists.

Thwack!

Thwack!

Two merciless "Fist of Love" landed precisely on the heads of the two brats.

Large bumps immediately rose on Ace and Luffy's heads.

Their eyes saw stars, and they instantly quieted down.

Garp nodded in satisfaction, just about to drag his two overly energetic Grandsons away, when his peripheral vision caught sight of the strange stall.

He paused.

"Dungeon Shop?"

Garp narrowed his eyes and walked over with interest.

Behind the stall, a White-haired Youth was lying on a rocking chair.

The Youth had white hair, wore a simple white short-sleeved shirt and beach shorts, and had sunglasses perched on his nose.

He swayed gently with the rocking chair, looking so lazy he seemed about to fall apart.

Garp's massive figure cast a shadow, completely enveloping the Youth.

The Youth's rocking chair stopped moving.

He reached out a finger, slowly pulling his sunglasses down a bit, revealing a pair of dark black eyes.

"Welcome."

He spoke, his tone lazy, with the hoarseness of someone who had just woken up.

Garp's face instantly darkened.

This kid, what an attitude!

He was Marine Hero Garp!

How dare this kid speak to him with such an attitude?

Two snorts of rough air puffed from Garp's nostrils.

He leaned down, a huge sense of oppression surging towards the Youth.

"Kid."

His tone was aggressive, carrying a hint of gunpowder.

"This place of yours, is it called a Dungeon Shop?"

Garp's finger heavily tapped the wooden board with the writing on it.

"But how come this old man doesn't see a single item for sale?"

The Youth pushed his sunglasses back up his nose, a playful curve forming at the corner of his mouth.

"Guest, you can't say that."

"What I sell isn't something that can be displayed on shelves for people to pick and choose like cabbages."

His voice was still lazy, but carried an undeniable certainty.

"It's an experience."

"An… experience that will be unforgettable for your entire life."

Garp's brows furrowed even tighter, and two streams of white air puffed from his large nostrils.

"Experience?"

He grinned, revealing a mouthful of white teeth, his smile filled with a dangerous aura.

"Alright! This old man wants to see what kind of trick you're playing, kid!"

"Tell me! How does one experience it!"

The Youth yawned lazily, extending three fingers.

"It's simple."

"Just choose the Dungeon package you want."

"Beginner Dungeon, experience price, one million Berries."

"Intermediate Dungeon, advanced price, ten million Berries."

"As for the highest-level Advanced Dungeon…"

He paused, his dark eyes looking at Garp from behind his sunglasses, slowly uttering a number.

"One hundred million."

The air instantly froze.

Ace and Luffy both stopped struggling, their eyes wide as they stared at the arrogant White-haired Youth.

Garp's smile stiffened.

The next second, his entire face darkened, and the veins on his forehead throbbed wildly like earthworms.

"You stinking brat, have you gone crazy for money?!"

Garp's roar almost tore the roof off the entire Foosha Village.

"One million?! One hundred million?!"

"Why don't you just rob someone?!"

"Don't get excited, don't get excited."

The Youth waved his hand, signaling him to calm down.

"Mr. Garp, my prices are clearly marked, fair and honest."

"Once you witness the magic of the Dungeon, you'll naturally find it well worth the price."

His tone was as calm as if he were commenting on the weather, but that confidence made Garp's anger get stuck in his throat.

This kid was either crazy, or he truly had some skills.

Garp stared at him for a full ten seconds.

He suddenly snorted, and his clenched fist relaxed.

He extended his pinky finger and began picking his nose as if no one else was there.

"Such big talk."

"Since you're so confident, this old man will give you face today and take a look!"

He flicked his finger, a move of utmost nonchalance.

"I'll take the cheapest one!"

Garp glanced at the Youth with an expression that said, "You're lucky."

"One million Berries, right? Put it on my tab first!"

"If this old man doesn't think it's worth the price…"

He grinned, his stark white teeth gleaming with a cold light.

"This old man won't pay, you know."

"As you wish."

The smile on the Youth's face grew wider.

"Beginner Dungeon, opening for you."

As soon as he finished speaking.

He raised his right hand, his index finger lightly tapping the air.

Buzz.

A ripple visible to the naked eye spread out in the space in front of his fingertip.

The next moment, a blinding white light erupted without warning, instantly engulfing Garp.

The white light came and went quickly.

In front of the bar, only the simple stall, the leisurely Youth in the rocking chair, and the two bewildered little tykes remained.

The whole world became quiet.

The Youth leaned back comfortably in his rocking chair, looking at the translucent panel that only he could see, and began to ponder.

"Beginner Dungeon… Where would be most fun to send this old geezer?"

That's right.

His name was White Night, an unlucky guy who had transmigrated to this world a week ago.

Fortunately, he had awakened a golden finger called the "Myriad Heavens Dungeon System."

As long as people cleared Dungeons, he would receive generous rewards.

For him to risk his life and fight?

What a joke!

Finding the strong people of this world to be "boosters," making them work for him, and incidentally collecting a "ticket fee" from them—wasn't this better than anything else?

Killing two birds with one stone, absolutely delightful.

White Night stroked his chin.

A mischievous smile hung on his face.

"Hehehe."

He comfortably crossed his legs, looking at the virtual panel that only he could see.

On the panel, several lines of glowing blue text were clearly displayed.

"Available Dungeon Pool"

"Beginner Dungeon: Desert King"

"Synopsis: In the endless sea of sand, challenge the Shichibukai of Sand who attempted to usurp the country."

"Beginner Dungeon: strongest spear"

"Synopsis: In the battlefield of clouds and lightning, directly confront the Third Raikage, who withstood a Tailed Beast Ball with his bare body."

"Beginner Dungeon: Extraterrestrial Visitor"

"Synopsis: Above a steel jungle, alone, annihilate a Leviathan beast from the depths of outer space."

"Intermediate Dungeon: Moon Eye"

"Synopsis: Directly confront the power of a god, challenge Six Paths: Uchiha Madara, who absorbed the God Tree and activated the Moon Eye."

White Night's gaze swept across the panel, his fingers tapping the armrest intermittently.

"Desert King… Crocodile?"

He pouted.

"A Logia user, a dimensionality reduction attack against those who don't use Haki, but this old geezer Garp…"

"His Armament Haki must be almost muscle by now."

"One punch, and the sand will be turned back into minerals."

"Boring, next."

His gaze then fell on "Extraterrestrial Visitor."

"Fighting a big iron snake?"

A hint of disdain appeared on White Night's face.

"That old guy Garp usually uses battleships as sandbags; a monster of this level would probably be a one-punch affair."

"No, no, it's too unwatchable, there's no dramatic conflict at all."

What he wanted was fun.

It was that kind of punch-to-flesh, sparks flying, adrenaline-pumping top-tier show for the audience!

Finally, his gaze stopped on the second Beginner Dungeon.

"strongest spear."

White Night's eyes lit up.

The curve of his mouth widened, revealing a smile that could be described as malicious.

"Oh-ho?"

"This is interesting."

"Third Raikage, a monster who developed pure physique and Lightning Release Chakra to the extreme."

"Hell Stab: One-Finger Nukite, known as the strongest spear."

"Lightning Release Chakra Mode, known as the strongest shield."

"To cover his comrades, he single-handedly held off an army of tens of thousands of Ninja for three days and three nights until he died of exhaustion."

"A true man, a tough, iron-blooded hero!"

White Night stroked his chin, a world-shaking showdown already forming in his mind.

marine hero, Iron Fist Garp.

His fists were the fists of justice that had shattered countless legends.

Kumogakure tough guy, Third Raikage.

His finger was the strongest spear that pierced through all defenses.

When Garp's Iron Fist met the Raikage's Hell Stab… that scene.

Tsk tsk.

"The ultimate showdown of spear and shield, the peak clash of taijutsu and taijutsu!"

White Night excitedly slapped his thigh.

"This is it!"

"Let this old man, who constantly talks about upholding justice, experience the 'embrace of love' from a top tough guy from the neighboring world!"

"Hehehe, I hope his old bones… are still sturdy enough."
