Leaving Vadiel, Kurt sat in the bar on the hyperion, surrounded by a group of B1 Battle Droids role-playing.
"Lieutenant, are we in hyperspace now?" Kurt asked the B1 Lieutenant beside him.
"That's right, Commander. The hyperion currently has two major engine Systems: a hyperspace engine belonging to this Galaxy and a warp engine from Sal-Sar Technology. The distance to Kamino is too far, so we can only travel within hyperspace lanes."
"How many more days until we arrive?"
"About four or five days. We need to take the Hedia route first, then the Corellia route, and then two hidden routes to reach the Kamino System," the Lieutenant replied, looking at the datapad in his hand.
"Hmm," Kurt nodded, then asked a B1 Battle Droid next to him for a glass of milk.
While Kurt was traveling to the Kamino System, on a high mountain on Asmeru, a human male was driving an FC-20 flight motorcycle towards a camp on the mountain.
Asmeru is the headquarters of the Nebula Front, an organization alternately called terrorists or freedom fighters, depending on one's class, as they primarily target most corporate conglomerates and monopolies in the Galaxy, and even hold no favorable view of the Republic.
"Stop! Who are you?!" A Nebula Front soldier blocked the newcomer.
The human male pulled down his hood, revealing his face. "I'm here to help you, because I also hate these big corporations and conglomerates, and I possess power!" He immediately raised his hand and Force choked the soldier unconscious.
Entering the camp, Vos looked left and right, unsure which one was the Havatz he was looking for. So he began searching tent by tent, Force choking anyone who wasn't him, until he found the red Nikto he was looking for.
"Are you the one who contacted me?" Sindar looked at Korian Vos as he walked in.
"That's right. I have the ability to help you kill the Trade Federation Council members," Vos said, looking at the Nikto.
"You have the ability?" Sindar looked at the man, who wasn't particularly muscular nor did he have very professional weapons.
Vos didn't answer him, but instead used The Force to lift him and slam him hard onto the ground. "Alright, alright, I know you have the ability!" Sindar quickly begged for mercy.
"In two standard days, all Trade Federation Council members will go to the Kashyyyk space station to discuss the colonization of Alaris. This is a very good opportunity. Here are their Defense Force uniforms and forged IDs. Blend into the venue then, and I will assist you," Vos said, throwing a few sets of Defense Force uniforms and an internal identification System provided by Gunray from his backpack.
"Is this reliable?" Sindar looked at the mysterious man in front of him. He didn't even know his name, or why he wanted to kill the Trade Federation members, or why he was opposing the Trade Federation. But none of that mattered. As long as they could kill those Trade Federation Council members, the Nebula Front would gain greater renown in the Galaxy, and people would support the Nebula Front!
"I will not deceive you, for we share a common enemy," Vos said, pulling Sindar up from the ground.
Sindar, thinking he didn't care if there were any schemes or tricks involved, directly agreed to the mission. Afterwards, Korian Vos piloted the Sith Infiltrator, the same model as Maul's, and left Asmeru, returning to Cato Neimoidia.
When Sindar went out again, he saw that half the camp's people had been Force choked unconscious. This guy was practically a demon, but that only proved he possessed strength.
In Gunray's office, Nute Gunray was reprimanding Captain Dooku. Hmm... no, he should be Captain Dooku now, because losing a freighter and a ship full of cargo this time meant he had to be demoted!
But seeing Vos walk in, Gunray dismissed Captain Dooku and asked Vos, "How is it? What did the Nebula Front say?"
"Just a bunch of idiots. Soon you will be free to rule the Trade Federation," Vos said, sitting on Gunray's large sofa, speaking to the standing Gunray.
"Thank you for your help, Great Master. I will immediately begin funding the freedom fighters on Jabiim," Gunray quickly began arranging for supplies to be sent to Jabiim, but a glint flashed in his eyes once his back was turned.
Ever since the first Council member died, he had notified the Republic, requesting an investigation. When the Jedi came to apprehend this fellow, Sidious wouldn't abandon him over such a small matter. If he could also get the Wookiee to kill one or two people, wouldn't that be even better?!
Earlier, in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, Great Master Yoda and Great Master Windu were assigning personnel to Cato Neimoidia to investigate the deaths of Trade Federation Council members.
"Great Master, could this whole thing be a play orchestrated by Council Member Gonrey himself?" Qui-Gon asked Mace Windu, who was sitting in a chair.
"That's why you need to go and investigate, and protect the other Council members. In one standard day, they will all go to the Kashyyyk space station to discuss the colonization of Alaris with the Wookiee. I think they will definitely try to manipulate things there, and the security for this discussion will also be your responsibility," Windu immediately thought of Gunray's tactics.
"Then Obi-Wan and I will go together to make early arrangements," Qui-Gon said, taking Obi-Wan and leaving the conference room.
The two traveled to the Kashyyyk space station aboard a republic consular-class cruiser and conveyed the Republic Council's message to the Wookiee. Regarding the colonization of Alaris, the Council believed both sides had valid points and hoped that this negotiation would resolve the issue of Alaris's ownership.
"Awooah oh oh!" Attikook was completely dissatisfied with the Council's decision because this place was originally theirs and did not belong to the Trade Federation!
"I understand your feelings, Chieftain. I hope you will discuss this meeting thoroughly," Qui-Gon said to Attikook.
"Hello there," Obi-Wan said, shaking hands with Chewbacca, who was beside Attikook.
"Awooah," Chewbacca also expressed his welcome.
At this moment, all the Trade Federation delegates arrived. Six Council members came one by one before Attikook, expressing friendliness, and behind them were Trade Federation Defense Force soldiers holding E-5 blaster rifles.
"Woooah," Attikook indicated for everyone to enter the conference room.
"Wait, Council Member Gonrey, these people cannot enter," Obi-Wan stopped the Defense Force soldiers behind, preventing them from entering.
"Apprentice, you know that recently there have been attacks on our Council members, so it is necessary to have close personal guards," Gunray explained. After all, this was part of the plan, and without this link, a new plan would be needed.
"Then only five members will enter. You can choose them yourself."
Gunray chose Korian Vos and radical members of the Nebula Front to enter, which was clearly an assassination team, not guards. The other Council members also selected a few guards to enter for close protection.
Afterwards, Qui-Gon entered the conference room to observe the meeting on behalf of the Republic, while Obi-Wan monitored the other personnel outside, fearing that someone might attempt an assassination. He also arranged for some Wookiee to conduct searches, checking for bombs in the space station.
As the Wookiee outside were searching for bombs, the people inside the conference hall had already erupted into a heated argument.
