"Come on," Eugene patted his groaning husband, keeping the man on the couch so the alpha wouldn't stub his toe against the coffee table out of frustration. "It's not like I'm planning to meet them in a secluded place or anything."

"And you can't use your pheromone on them anymore," Ashley reminded her cousin.
Arthur glared at her and hissed. "You, shut up."
"She's right, though. Even if we weren't bonded yet, you couldn't use your pheromone in public," Eugene shrugged.
"Gin..." Arthur whined, staring at his omega in disbelief. "Do you really not want me to be there?"
Eugene looked at his alpha awkwardly; the corner of his mouth formed a grimace. "Honestly?"

Eugene laughed and cradled the brown head to placate the alpha, even kissing the man's forehead. "It's not that I don't like you to be there, but..."
