Synopsis
A father works himself into exhaustion, rotating through factory lines, gas stations, and warehouse shifts, doing anything he can to afford a life-saving surgery for his gravely ill daughter. After his wife abandons them and drains their savings, he is left alone with mounting bills, constant firings, and a quiet, crushing shame—the fear that failing to provide makes him a bad parent. When he is fired yet again for being late, he accepts another job in a nearby town, hoping the extra hours will finally close the gap. While there, he receives what feels like a miracle: his insurance claim for his daughter’s surgery is approved. But when he calls the hospital, he learns the truth—the payment was never sent. The approval was a lie. Someone intercepted the money. With time running out and no faith left in the system, he begins hunting down the person responsible for the fraud, discovering that the thief is not a faceless villain, but someone just as desperate and broken as he is. What begins as a search for justice turns into a moral confrontation between two people crushed by the same system, both believing they deserve to survive.
