Chapter 72 - Chapter 71 Evelynn: Do you have some misunderstanding about us Eldar?

Bridge.

At this moment, the Aeldari spaceship slowly docked with the "Terra Guardian" battleship. Yvraine and Visarch (the simp), who were standing at the other end of the docking bay door, both had grim expressions.

Through prophecy, they had learned that the Imperium of Man had acquired an entity similar to the Old Ones. This entity would completely change the physical universe and the Warp, and could even point a clear path for the future of the Aeldari.

And that entity was now on the ship in front of them. As the hatch slowly opened, a row of Custodes and Sisters of Silence stood fully armed at the entrance.

This display truly made Yvraine and Visarch's spines tingle with dread. They had heard of the fearsome reputation of the Custodes, each one an existence capable of holding off a thousand foes, and also excellent scholars. And those Sisters of Silence were the Emperor's direct anti-psyker force.

With so many Custodes and Sisters of Silence, Yvraine knew that her target was on this ship. But... what if these "Mon-Keigh" revealed their cruel and bloodthirsty nature? (The translation of Mon-Keigh as 'monkey' is problematic; the Aeldari term Mon-Keigh actually originates from a species that once enslaved the Aeldari. Imperial scholars studying the Aeldari believe the term is widely used to refer to "a race worthy of extinction." Of course, it is by no means a good word and definitely carries discriminatory connotations.)

A man quickly appeared at the end of the corridor. He arrived here escorted by a Custodes Commander, a golden Archmagos with wings on his back, and a group of Battle Sisters.

Li Feng began to size up Yvraine and Visarch from afar. He had to admit that the Thirteenth Consort's beauty was indeed striking, and the Aeldari, with their average height of two meters, combined with those long legs... it was simply amazing.

As Li Feng approached, although the Custodes and Sisters of Silence wore masks and showed no expression, Living Saint Celestine and the Battle Sisters had expressions that indicated they were ready to finely mince these xenos at any moment.

Upon seeing Li Feng approach, Yvraine and Visarch immediately sensed the man's uniqueness. From their perspective, Li Feng was like a black hole in the physical universe and the Warp, rotating clockwise... if it were to rotate counter-clockwise... Yvraine reached out her hands, clutched the two hems of her skirt, and then respectfully performed an Aeldari dancer's salute.

"Hello, noble sir, I am Yvraine, leader of the Death God Army. I apologize for our sudden visit."

Yvraine spoke Human language exceptionally well, without a trace of Aeldari accent. Visarch, behind Yvraine, bowed gracefully.

Li Feng raised his hand, making the classic Vulcan salute from Star Trek, and then said:

"Hello, I am Li Feng. Live long and prosper."

Yvraine was surprised by Li Feng's self-introduction, especially the phrase "live long and prosper"; the meaning in his words was full of blessings and goodness. Compared to other extremely xenophobic humans, Li Feng seemed like a saint.

Li Feng scrutinized Yvraine, wondering why the Thirteenth Consort wasn't wearing shoes. Li Feng turned to ask a few Custodes:

"Why did you take her shoes? Hand them over, immediately package them and send them to Macragge to be tied to Guilliman's face..."

Hearing Li Feng's words, the Custodes exchanged glances. They hadn't even touched the other party's headpiece, which was full of dangerous metal decorations, so why would they take her shoes?

At this moment, Yvraine slowly straightened up and respectfully said, "Sir, you misunderstand, I do not wear shoes."

What Yvraine didn't expect was that when Li Feng heard her words, his expression immediately changed from curiosity to disgust, as if he had seen Orcs, Gretchin, and Nurgling... Seeing Yvraine stunned, Li Feng immediately explained: "Don't mind it, it's my first time seeing an Aeldari, I'm just a bit curious."

As Li Feng spoke, he carefully observed Yvraine and Visarch, making them feel uneasy inside, as if Li Feng's gaze was like a scalpel, gradually dissecting their flesh and bones. (The Imperium really did this, and it was live dissection.)

Li Feng had imagined the Aeldari to be like those in anime and manga: tsundere, cute... But in reality, what Li Feng saw were a group of two-meter-tall skin-and-bones, with very high beauty, but uniformly oval faces and chins as sharp as a knife... Seeing too many of them could lead to aesthetic fatigue.

And then there was Yvraine's hairstyle... Li Feng almost passed out on the spot when he saw the topknot on Yvraine's head. Just a tuft on top, with both sides and the back completely bare... "It's just... a bit different from what I imagined... Can you consider growing out the hair on both sides and the back? It would look better. Right now, you look a bit like a delinquent girl."

"Ah?" Yvraine looked up in surprise. She hadn't expected Li Feng to say something like that. She had dealt with humans before, but Li Feng felt like someone offering advice on equal terms.

"What is this 'a bit different'?" Visarch was a little angry. As Yvraine's simp, he couldn't stand such words. And that "a bit different," did this "Mon-Keigh" look down on them?

Li Feng turned and took his phone from Celestine's hand. He found that Celestine could actually wirelessly charge his phone... So Li Feng opened his photo album and showed the two of them the appearances of several classic anime elves.

"Look, this is Frieren, an Aeldari mage... This is Hockenberge, a female knight..." (There are pictures in the comment section.)

Yvraine, looking at the images on the glowing screen, now had an "old person's phone" expression, while Little Kitten, seeing it, thought that the Female Aeldari in Li Feng's phone indeed looked good. Visarch, on the other hand, showed an expression of disgust; this was clearly a Mon-Keigh's depraved fantasy about the Aeldari.

"Mr. Li, do you have some misunderstanding about our Aeldari? Also, we hope to get your help this time."

Li Feng put his phone back, a little puzzled.

"Help? What help? How can I help your Aeldari? Tell me, since you're already here."

"We have prophesied that you are the one who will show us the way in the future. We hope to receive your guidance."

Li Feng thought for a moment. The Thirteenth was going to wake up sooner or later, so he might as well say it now.

"At the end of this 41st Millennium, you, Yvraine, will cooperate with Archmagos Belisarius Cawl of the Adeptus Mechanicus, and together you will go to Macragge to resurrect the Emperor's Thirteenth Son, Roboute Guilliman."

Hearing Li Feng's instructions, the Aeldari immediately knelt on one knee. What Li Feng said was exactly the same as their prophecy... Even Visarch began to think that the "Mon-Keigh" in front of him might just be some ancient powerful entity in disguise. At this moment, Yvraine lowered her head, seeking more guidance:

"Please tell us more, the way out for our Aeldari's future..."

Li Feng shrugged: "Form an alliance with humanity, you Aeldari and humans don't have reproductive isolation, it's just a bit troublesome to have children... Anyway, you will be with Guilliman in the future, and then the Imperium of Man and your Ark Aeldari will intermarry, isn't that great?"

The Aeldari had not foreseen Li Feng's words. Yvraine, however, showed a puzzled expression, wondering what "you will be with Guilliman" meant. And the simp Visarch's eyebrows were almost twisted into a knot.
