Le Fay could barely contain her excitement; even she hadn't imagined she would receive a blessing of this magnitude.
Unlimited mana.
Just thinking those words made her heart race.
A moment ago, she had been a magus with a finite mana supply—now she had effectively become a magus without a mana bar. With her vast repertoire of spells, she was essentially a walking artillery platform.
The realization only deepened the look of pure worship in her eyes each time they drifted toward Izumi.
She had officially become his hopeless fangirl.
Of course she understood perfectly:
all of this came from Izumi.
Just last night, she had surrendered herself to him—and today she was already reaping unimaginable benefits. Truly, she had profited beyond measure.
Izumi merely shot her a sidelong glance before turning his attention to the enormous Grail looming before them.
As the ritual circle dissolved, the glow surrounding the Greater Grail intensified.
Something within it looked as though it was about to spill forth—something malicious.
Izumi's brows drew together. He could feel it clearly—the hatred, the curses, the festering sludge of negative emotions condensed within the vessel.
And so—
Without hesitation, he stepped forward, appeared before the Grail in an instant, and—without a word—threw the entire thing into his System's storage.
Yes, the Grail connected to the Fuyuki Grail Hole, which in turn connected to the Root.
But Izumi had no interest whatsoever.
In fact, he suspected that if he actually followed that pathway to the Root, Alaya and Gaia would immediately appear to give him endless trouble.
Once the Grail vanished, the cavern was plunged into darkness. All light vanished at once.
Le Fay quickly cast a small spell, and with a brief whoosh, a glowing magic sigil formed above her palm.
Light returned to the cavern.
Feeling the minute mana drain, Le Fay's heart leapt.
Her mana was replenishing faster than she could use it.
Yes—her mana really was infinite.
She hummed cheerfully to herself, utterly satisfied.
At that very moment, all participants of the Grail War received a sudden notification through their Command Spells.
They collectively froze.
"...The Grail War has ended?"
"What in the world happened?"
Emiya Kiritsugu stared in confusion at his hand, where the Command Spells were dissolving into motes of light. Even behind him, Acht, current head of the Einzbern family, looked equally stunned.
Elsewhere, in London's Clock Tower, Kenneth and Waver were both dumbfounded.
"What is this supposed to mean...?" Kenneth muttered. "The War is already over? It hasn't even begun!"
"And the Grail has... vanished?"
There was only one explanation: someone had already seized it.
The thought made Kenneth break into a cold sweat.
Someone had ended the Grail War instantaneously.
All participants found themselves equally stupefied.
Meanwhile, Tohsaka Tokiomi had tracked down Ryūnosuke Uryū.
Upon seeing the murdered children inside the house, even a rigid magus like Tokiomi felt his rationality snap. Rage overtook him, and he struck without mercy.
Without a Servant, Uryū stood no chance.
When it was done, Tokiomi finally realized the problem—
Izumi had asked him to capture Ryūnosuke, not kill him.
He grimaced.
But upon seeing the countless dead children, he no longer cared. If Izumi wished to blame him, then so be it.
Besides, after seeing the Command Spells appear on Ryūnosuke's corpse before dissolving, Tokiomi knew Izumi had likely intended to eliminate the man anyway.
Across the world, everything had devolved into chaos—thanks to Izumi.
Somewhere in a strange metaphysical realm, two small girls trembled.
"Alaya-chan... what do we do now?"
"I told you not to send him ten years into the past! Now look—he's completely derailed the world!"
"Because of him, we just created an entirely new parallel world! And who knows what the future of this one will even look like?!"
The other girl, outwardly expressionless yet equally shaken, muttered:
"Isn't that fine?
For all we know, this might be the future of our world."
"At least in this divergence, the Age of Steel shouldn't come to pass. Isn't that better?"
Her voice rose slightly with emotion.
They had known Izumi entered their world, of course. They had also known he was powerful—powerful enough that neither of them dared act against him.
But they had not expected him to completely rewrite the fate of their world.
The Greater Grail—taken.
The Grail War—erased before it began.
In hindsight, sending him ten years earlier may have been the best decision.
Gaia, however, pointed upward with a trembling finger.
"But... but... it seems we've been noticed by that terrifying dragon."
High above, a pair of huge, reptilian eyes stared down at them—cold, emotionless, and endlessly oppressive.
Naturally, it was Ophis.
Izumi was someone she had already "claimed" as the future father of her children.
There was no universe in which she would allow him to wander other worlds unsupervised, especially if danger lurked there.
Thus, having nothing better to do, Ophis simply watched the entire Type-Moon world nonstop.
Her mere passive aura was enough to make Gaia and Alaya tremble.
"C-Calm down," Alaya said, trying to comfort herself more than Gaia. "It's fine. He's not in danger."
"Right now, our priority is to converge all worldlines."
"If this world is the proper future, then the other parallel worlds are unnecessary."
After all, they had created countless branches seeking a single viable future.
And now, they had found one.
Thus they prepared to merge the lines—compressing everything into a single, unified worldline.
Izumi, of course, had no idea.
He did not know Ophis was monitoring this world.
He did not know Gaia and Alaya were preparing the convergence.
He did not know the Type-Moon universe itself was about to take on a new form.
The story had already spiraled far beyond any established script.
And even if he knew, Izumi probably wouldn't care.
Having secured the Greater Grail, Izumi left Mount Enzō with Rin's group and returned to the Tohsaka manor.
The moment they arrived, Tokiomi bowed deeply.
"Izumi-dono, forgive me. The man you asked me to locate—Ryūnosuke Uryū—I... accidentally killed him."
Izumi blinked in confusion.
Before he could respond, the overly eager older man produced a set of documents, holding them out with both hands.
"As compensation... please accept this.
It is the blueprint for our family's treasured Jeweled Sword.
I humbly ask that you take it."
