Just as Irisviel von Einzbern was about to vanish completely, the sudden command reached her.
She blinked in surprise for only a heartbeat—then her lips curved into a radiant, almost heroic smile.
"Understood, Third Magician-sama."
"All versions of Irisviel have received your order."
With that final declaration, Irisviel dissolved into motes of light.
Hearing her last words, Izumi immediately understood—she must have recovered the memories from her counterparts across parallel worlds. That was the only reason she could respond with such clarity and composure.
Otherwise, the Irisviel of this timeline should have been a blank slate… she shouldn't have been capable of saying something so meaningful.
The sudden contraction of the worldlines caught even Izumi off guard.
At the side, Ahad stood frozen, completely unable to comprehend what was happening.
Izumi didn't bother explaining. Instead, he activated the Second Magic, focusing his awareness to observe the parallel branches of the Nasuverse.
And what he saw—
—shocked even him.
All Type-Moon worlds were slowly drawing closer, converging as though being pulled into a single point. The changes were subtle at first—small discrepancies smoothing out one by one.
For example, all versions of Irisviel across every world had vanished…
All merged into one.
Into the Irisviel from the Magi-Izumi World.
And because of Izumi's direct interference, the Irisviel of that world had single-handedly ended the Fourth Holy Grail War and pulled that timeline back onto a corrected course.
That world still had Emiya Kiritsugu, yes—but in this convergence, he and Irisviel were unrelated.
In the Fourth War they were simply allies of convenience.
Meanwhile, Emiya Shirō had been erased entirely, leaving only "Emiya Hero" from the neighboring Magi-Izumi branch.
All concepts related to the Holy Grail War were being overwritten—
Erasing the Fourth War completely.
A few worlds still retained the Holy Grail system, including Tōsaka Rin's original timeline.
That world remained unchanged for now—waiting, it seemed, for its turn in the convergence process.
After surveying the entire spectrum of worldlines, Izumi clicked his tongue softly.
"…Now things are getting interesting."
"Looks like I really do need to make a trip to the Magi-Izumi world."
"Irisviel is still waiting for me, after all."
Muttering under his breath, he withdrew his consciousness from the Second Magic.
Naturally, using such an overwhelming spell drew the attention of certain individuals—
including a certain Gem Wizard.
The old man merely glanced Izumi's way, however, and did nothing further.
Despite both being Magicians, even the Kaleidoscope user could feel it clearly—
Izumi's power eclipsed his own by an unfathomable margin.
And for reasons unknown, the old mage seemed unwilling to interact with this "outsider."
Leaving those thoughts aside, Izumi turned toward Ahad and spoke calmly:
"Prepare several homunculus maids for me. I'll need them."
Ahad still didn't understand what was happening, but he did not question it.
He bowed deeply.
"At once, Izumi-sama."
He hurried out of the room.
Izumi didn't linger either. He moved to the main hall of the Einzbern castle, waiting for the others to awaken.
The convergence of worldlines had only just begun. It could take who-knows-how-long to complete.
Izumi wasn't concerned—he would likely be gone long before it mattered.
The major impacts would be felt by the other worlds.
Here, it was merely an inconvenience.
Before long, Ahad returned with several homunculus maids.
They all shared identical features—perfectly modeled after Justeaze Lis von Einzbern, the ancestral template of the homunculi.
Izumi didn't waste time. He spoke one command:
"Don't resist."
At his words, he whisked them all into his Inner World, placing them within the palace he had prepared for himself.
The abrupt change in surroundings left the maids shaken.
Izumi addressed them gently:
"From now on, you'll be living here. This will be where you work."
Though confused and frightened, the homunculi obeyed without hesitation.
"Yes, Izumi-sama!"
Homunculi were designed to obey. His orders were absolute.
After creating various vegetables and fruits for them to cultivate, Izumi left the inner world.
As for meat—he couldn't create living beings yet, so he would have to bring living animals from the outside world.
He could create plants, but life? Not yet.
Returning to the Einzbern castle, he found that Lefi and the others were already awake.
Izumi addressed them immediately:
"We're leaving soon. Get ready."
Since the worldlines were converging, he needed to leave this world and head to the Magi-Izumi world to bring his wife back—
along with Illya, Chloe, and the others.
His sudden announcement stunned the girls.
"Eh? We're leaving already?"
"That fast?"
Lefi blinked in disbelief. They had only arrived yesterday—
and they were leaving already?
Izumi nodded.
"Yes. There are things we still need to deal with. Once that's done, we can send Rin back home."
"And because this world's timelines are converging, all parallel worlds will eventually merge."
"If we don't settle everything before that happens, it'll become troublesome."
Rin's eyes widened in shock.
"W-Wait… the worldlines are converging?"
"So—does that mean… my parents… will come back to life?"
Her voice trembled with hope.
If that were true…
If she returned to her world…
She would be able to see her mother and father again.
Izumi nodded calmly.
"Correct. They'll revive. But the process will take a long time—we don't know when your worldline will merge."
"But when it does, your parents will return."
"Because in this world, your parents didn't die."
The convergence had completely tangled the worldlines.
Once everything merged, her parents would revive—
and even inherit memories from this world.
How exactly it would manifest was far too complex for him to explain.
It was simply… extremely high-tier cosmology.
But the conclusion was simple:
It would work.
Rin trembled, overwhelmed by emotion.
"That's… really… wonderful…"
Although she had met her parents again in this world, Izumi had already told her the truth:
When they arrived here, this timeline had already branched into a new parallel world.
She hadn't returned ten years into her own world—
she had simply traveled to another branch entirely.
Otherwise, the time paradox would be impossible to reconcile.
